We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Candlebay. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was fabulous. The host was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place and excellent location! Just a few minutes walk to the downtown with great spots to eat and of course, all the shops. Bill is a great host, and the Inn is beautifully maintained. There were nice details like a cold glass bottle of water in the room, all the toiletries and amenities you’d expect from a nice hotel and the bed was very comfy! Excellent homemade breakfast in the morning can’t be missed! I’d love to stay again!

Connie is a very affable host and a veteran in the industry- she was quick to respond with a snack when I had to leave early. I look forward to additional trips to Freeport as I'm getting to know the area; am sure I'll return to Candlebay Inn.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to stay in Freeport. I rarely give reviews but I would also recommend going to her website instead of through here. Other than this, the breakfast was excellent, the host was fantastic, and other guests were very friendly. I will be staying here each time I go to Freeport. Thank you!

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

John was a lovely host, and the apartment was wonderful. The location was a great starting point from which to explore the surrounding area. Super peaceful, and the bed was so comfy. At night, you can see the stars through the skylights, which was great. The place had everything needed for a short stay, would definitely recommend!

What more can we say - wonderful experience and wonderful hosts! We greatly enjoyed staying with Gretchen and Keith and found them to be great people - friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The room was as pictured and described, in a great location, the breakfast by ‘Chef Keith’ was delightful. If you’re considering staying here, do it. We’ll be back!!

We love this place and are excited for our next visit

Christine was a lovely host. We felt very welcome and she engaged with our dogs in a sweet fashion. Even though we were in her house we felt quite separate with space to come and go without disruption.

Marshall and Courtney have curated a hip, comfortable, and immaculate space that is a joy to spend time in. Addison Choate is nestled in an adorable walkable beach town that is an easy trip from Boston. We had a fantastic time, and will be sure to be back!

I would definitely come back another time. My experience was excellent! The food was delicious and the host was very friendly. Beautiful and charming environment with all of the antiques in the old house. Loved it.

Very timely response once I booked. Someone was waiting outside at night and helped my daughter and I bring in our bags and gave us a tour and let us know some very helpful travel hints to Salem. Would recommend.

Great stay! The B&B was very clean, the breakfast was good and the entire place was very comfortable.

Victor’s place was within walking distance to all town beaches and attractions. The house was charming and spotless. Victor thought of everything a guest would want from individually wrapped silver silverware, guest refrigerator, extra soaps, towel, to a full home made fresh breakfast individually prepared. Given the pandemic, Victor took all precautions asked of the officials so everyone was safe.

Our stay at Snowvillage Inn was better than we could have ever asked for. The amenities were plentiful and our room was cozy and clean. Jen and staff were all friendly and accommodating and the food at Max’s was delicious. The holiday theme and decorations across the Inn and the mixed with the weekend snow made for a perfect winter wonderland weekend. Highly recommend staying at this amazing Inn!

Flavia’s place was a great value for the location. The bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, and Flavia was kind and responsive to all our questions.

If you’re visiting Kennebunkport, Harbor Inn is truly the place to stay. We were greeted by Mike, who showed us all the amazing amenities, told us the story of the property, and helped us with our luggage. He gave us recs for dinner restaurants and was very friendly and accommodating. The place itself is SO charming and beautiful. The detail of the decor and furniture is thoughtful and fitting of the area. The location is incredible - walking distance to downtown and to the coast. We took the provided bikes along a beautiful road to enjoy the scenery. I would definitely stay here again and I can’t recommend it enough!

Amazing stay - waking distance to center, beautifully decorated house and rooms, delicious breakfast and so appreciated the homemade gluten free items and breakfast items. Michael the host helped with luggages and was super welcoming. I can’t imagine going anywhere else if in the area again!

Loved our stay! The house was so warm and welcoming. The room was very cozy. We’d definitely stay again! I wish I would have taken pictures of the gorgeous dining space with the beautiful breakfast spread in the am which was a delightful surprise. It felt like staying with family. We came back to the Haskell House for a second time because we enjoyed our first stay so much. You can’t beat the Haskell House for historic atmosphere: you’ll feel as though you’re transported right back to the 1680s in this quiet spot. Though there was the comfort of a tv and a modern kitchen in the ell, as well as a lovely modern bathroom en-suite, we enjoyed talking by (electric) candlelight in our chamber and just enjoying the peace of the evening. We will be back again!
