Shimanto Riverside Hideaway for Family/Group
Kenji's home is very unique, and it's the perfect choice if you want to experience the Japanese countryside environment and traditional Japanese architecture.Kenji is very enthusiastic and gave us a lot of travel and dining tips. We had a great time. Thank you so much!

140-year-old kominka art inn (entire building available for rent/available for 1 person)
When I asked something I didn't know, they responded very kindly, and there was a studio-like place inside, and it was very stylish and I had a very pleasant time in each room!

This old house by the sea is a 10-second walk to the sea. You can see the sea from the house.
This was a great location close to the beach, in a quiet rural area. The home is rustic but has all of the amenities listed, including an annex with a western bedroom for those that may prefer to use the bunkbeds. We stayed in the main building which had a toilet at one end, shower at the other, with plenty of living space. We even made use of the washing machine! The futons were quite comfortable but given the age of the home and traditional constructions there was traffic noise evident at night. While we enjoyed our stay, this home is best suited for those under 5’8” tall…those of us around 6’ have to duck everywhere, especially in the kitchen.

The room overlooks the Seto Naikai.A space where you can enjoy the sea and craft beer for up to 10 people for renting the entire house.
We had a very pleasant stay.Everything was clean and the kitchen was easy to use.The beer is also delicious and I want to stay again.

100 years traditional island cuisine and old life
The hospitality and food were off the charts! The food was unexpectedly incredible and the best meals we experienced on our three week trip. OKUMA and his wife were perfect hosts. It felt like a homestay. The accommodation is traditional and simple and the somewhat remote location is a perfect respite from the hectic cities. We walked up into the hills and around the island and travelled to Saiki and Oita.

Jungle Room Hisaya, a one-of-a-kind, nature-filled, experience-based cottage
The staff who was there to check in was very kind and explained how to use the facility well. I was very satisfied with the barbecue with my friends.I'd love to visit again if I get the chance.Thank you very much.

GuestHouse Umeya, a home-type guest house (dormitory) where you can relax like at home
This was such a great place. I was worried at first because it’s not near any shops or restaurants, but the hosts provided so much food - instant meals and assortments of bread products, that I was quite ok. The place was d at I well stocked with everything you could need, even including ladies sanitary products, which I thought was very thoughtful. It was very clean and comfortable and peaceful. I would highly recommend this place!

Kuroshio-no-Ie - Entire house for one group per day, 5-minute walk to the sea!
I took care of a family of three generations, eight people and two dogs, but the owner was very kind and the room and futons were very clean.I was happy to enter the front door and smell a nice aroma. It was also helpful to have amenities such as towels. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach, and I went for a walk with my dog at night and in the morning, and the atmosphere is great. We were blessed with good weather, and the night sky was full of stars and the seven stars of the Big Dipper were beautiful! I definitely want to stay again when I go to Kochi!
