Loved staying at this house! It’s super big, so there was plenty of space to chill and feel comfortable. The view was really nice, and the onsen in the house was such a bonus—perfect for relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

The house has more amenities than expected. Everything you need is there. The hot spring is very good. Everyone in the family loves it. There are massage chairs to help you relax. The kitchen is fully equipped. Playing the piano with a view of the cherry blossoms is very good. There are also small games for us. Even though the house is a bit old, everything is okay. The owner pays attention to details very well. There are charging cables provided. If I have a chance, I would like to stay again.

Check-in was also smooth, The view from the bath was really good! The bed sheets were also clean and I slept comfortably. Each room was beautifully cleaned. I noticed that the clock in the living room was out of sync with the time. Thanks for your hospitality.

Clean and spacious home, with everything we needed. The private onsen was a highlight.

It was the highlight of this trip with the kids. I was so touched by the meals and warm hospitality that Mo and Kage prepared with care. The conversation we had while eating together was also very enjoyable. The stars in the night sky were beautiful, and the puppy, goat, and cat were so cute and nice. If I had more time, I could have shared more stories, but it was a shame that I had to leave in a hurry due to the schedule of returning. It was nice to meet the lovely and cute youngest son, Jen-gun. This is where I want to visit again next time. I want to see all of Kage's family members again in good health. Thank you.

The view here is breathtaking. If you're looking to get away from the crowds this is the perfect place! My son and I stayed here, we walked the shoreline and found beach glass, shells, driftwood, and bamboo, we loved it so much. The house is so comfortable and large. We had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a large tub with a big window overlooking the bay, it was so relaxing. We cracked the sliding door to hear the waves at night, it was the best. The hosts are amazing people, so kind and thoughtful, they had breakfast food in the refrigerator for us and juice & milk. We ate at a tonkatsu place down the road that was great! If you have a chance to stay here, book it! There are also two ponies on the property that are adorable. We had such a wonderful stay here, thank you for letting us spend the night in your beautiful place.💜🌊 Oh, and the night view of the city across the bay is SO BEAUTIFUL!

The hosts are an elderly couple and a handsome young man. They are all very nice and very welcoming!Confirmed arrival time and arranged pick-up and drop-off with us the day before check-in, very considerate.The host understands a little English, communication is basically barrier-free, he will recommend fun and delicious places nearby, the room is tidy and clean, the hot spring is very comfortable, soaked for two consecutive nights, relieved the fatigue of the trip.One day we climbed Mt. Yufu, and the host drove us to the trailhead.However, due to the sudden extreme weather that day, there was hail and we were soaked. The navigation was also wrong and we got lost. We were trapped on the hilltop. Fortunately, the host kept in touch with us and helped us call the police and the mountain rescue. Otherwise, we would definitely freeze to death on the mountain that night.It was getting dark, and the host and rescue team had been waiting for us to come down at the foot of the mountain. They prepared energy drinks and food, which made us feel very warm in a foreign country. This is the true nature of mankind!!Fortunately, I went to the hot springs immediately after returning to the homestay, and my body returned to normal temperature, otherwise I would definitely get sick ~ ~ If I come back to Yufuin next time, I will definitely stay again ~ Bless the host with good health, happiness, prosperity, and everything goes well!!
