A beautiful period house with exposed floor boards throughout. We spent most evenings by the electric fire which was cosy. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some decent meals. We missed having a shower in the house but the bathroom facilities were just fine once you got the hang of it. The location is good, off on a quiet street. It's only a short walk to the town centre or a roll down the hill to the sea front.

The house was ideally located for exploring Southsea and Portsmouth by foot. Close to mainly places to eat. Great having off street parking. All the house needs is a dishwasher! Otherwise can’t fault the place

The lodge was really comfortable and welcoming. It had everything needed for four adults. The location is great for walks and is very dog friendly, and great for exploring the New Forest. We hired bikes one day and did Rifle shooting another. We had a lovely evening at the onsite Ember pizza bar, and there are some very nice (dog friendly) pubs within a short drive. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We loved our stay at Lori's place. Its within an easy walk for little ones to a great beach and to the nearby shops and a good location for exploring the rest of the island. The house itself was great, lovely and spacious and tastefully decorated and furnished. We had a couple of minor niggles but the hosts were really responsive and go things sorted out in double quick time.

What a perfect weekend away in Selsey! Rosie's place was absolutely beautiful, right on the seafront and so close to pubs, shops and restaurants. I stayed as a group of 8 with a dog and there was plenty of room for us all. The house is well equipped and the welcome basket was greatly appreciated and sorted us out for breakfast both mornings without the need to go and do a food shop. We have all said that we would love to come and stay again in the summer. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful, peaceful stay here in a lovely countryside setting. Felt very relaxed here and would certainly stay again.

We had a wonderful family pre Christmas get together weekend at park Dale Cottage. The house was in a beautiful spot and we found it spacious and well laid out for our extended family needs. Kate was welcoming and available if we had any questions. We really enjoyed walks into the local area and definitely needed our walking boots to go across the field into the woods which are beautiful and full of ponies! The kitchen area was well equipped, the beds comfy and it was perfect for young children with the lovely selection of toys and outside play area. We loved the big open plan space it was very social . Thank you Katie for the welcome hamper food bits. We really had a perfect weekend, thank you.

Had a fantastic stay, the house really is wonderful, everyone really enjoyed it. We cooked, ate together, played tennis, went for bike rides and runs, the location was perfect. Arabella was really responsive, flexible and really helpful which I appreciate. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay with all our family to celebrate a special birthday - we loved the house, all able to eat together around the table was wonderful, enjoying chatting and drinking in the beautiful lounge and the younger ones loved the hot tub and braver ones the swimming pool. Great position for all the lovely New Forest areas and walks

Just had a wonderful 2 night stay with our 3 young children. It was a cosy and homely base for our exploring, and we thought the added extras of tea/coffee/biscuits were lovely. We hope to return in future :) thank you!

What a beautiful home in a beautiful location! The views were spectacular - so lovely to wake up to. We spotted Oyster Catchers and Egrets from the jetty. Thoroughly recommend Catherine's home. Lovely log burner to keep you warmer on chillier evenings. Catharine was a very responsive host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Peter was a great host, he was very accommodating and friendly. The location was beautiful and the house was just what we were looking for. The hot tub was also so so nice, which is where we spent most of our time - loved it - big, nice temperature and clean! Thank you so much for a special birthday weekend.

Beautiful spot over looking the lake with lots of windows the hot tub was lovely ,nice and hot clean with the most magical view. The accommodation advertised as sleep six, the bedrooms are fine but the seating area in the front room wouldn’t sit six adults. Luckily for us there was only five of us but if there was 6 of us one would have to sit on the floor . Ruth the host was lovely Always got back to us and answered all our questions, and made her very best effort to accommodate our requests . It could do with a little bit of TLC now as door frames and frames around showers windows in front room etc are a little bit worn and grubby. Lodge was very warm With a very easy-to-use thermostat to have it at your ideal temperature . Would definitely recommend and would love to return again .

Great place to stay,well equipped ,spotless and cosy with a wood burning stove

Although I picked the wrong weekend away that coincided with Storm Darragh, the accomodation provided a great shelter. The location was great and we weren't far from the coast or the New Forest when we did venture out. Also close to the shops and takeaways which was very convenient. Will be returning in the summer

The Hideaway was perfect, quiet and peaceful just what we needed, the accommodation was lovely and clean and we had everything we needed. Helen was extremely helpful and responded instantly. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful converted barn, with a lovely welcome from Caroline. The Annex was clean, comfortable and well equipped with lots of useful extras, including doggy towels and bowls. Idilic, peaceful country location, with New Forest walks and beaches close by. We would definitely recommend The Annex, and hopefully one day we’ll go back.

The apartment was quite and the check in was made easy with a video. The place was lovely with a terrace with table and chairs to sit in. It was about a 15 minute walk into town . But is a nice walk by the sea . I would recommended it. The owners wife was very helpful with taking my suitcase down the outside stairs

As always, fantastic break with Gordon. His caravans are the only place we ever stay in southsea/Portsmouth area, you cant get a better host.

We stayed here in 2019 too. It is rare for us to return to accomodation used before, but this is good value, perfect hosts and close to the Whitelink ferry port.
