The place and the location are both fantastic. It is extremely good value for money compared with our other accommodation in Kyushu. The onsen is great. Beds are comfy. Place is warm. View is spectacular. Close to kurokawa onsen town. Close to ski fields. Easy access from beppu (with winter tyres) For access: In winter you need winter tyres to get to Kurosawa onsen. And the property is a bit higher up. we had heavy snowfall, so chains would be preferable for the driveway (but we parked 5min walk away and walked up instead). The highway to get to kurokawa onsen was closed unless you have winter tyres or chains. So it is necessary

I have had many Airbnb experiences, but this facility was special in that I could feel the owner's attention to detail in every corner, and I had a pleasant time. Appreciate

Rica’s cabin in the woods was fantastic for a peaceful getaway on our Kyushu road trip. The highlight is the private 2 person onsen outside! The cabin itself is cozy and had everything we needed. The setting can’t be beat with a view the beautiful forest and the sound of the nearby rushing river. Rica was also very responsive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!

It was the best place to stay so far.My wife and my 6- and 10-year-old sons loved it.The moment I parked my car in the parking lot, I saw a welcome board with our names on it, which warmed my heart, and when I opened the door, the aroma wafted in, soothing the fatigue of my long journey.The BBQ area, drum-style washer/dryer, upstairs living area, and spacious bedroom area with fluffy mattresses were all great.It's probably an old house, but it's been beautifully renovated, and this is my first experience with an Airbnb that's been so beautifully renovated.The layout of the room, the sense of the wallpaper, and the relaxing bath.The renovation of this accommodation is not based on the part of the guests (how much they can relax) rather than the convenience of the creator (how much they can make).No matter how many times I say it, it's not enough.This place is the best.

Impeccable stay, welcoming and responsive host, studio with a lot of space, fully equipped, very well located close to Kokubu station and many restaurants and shops. What more could you ask for? I would 100% recommend, don't hesitate!

We had a BBQ, and the neighbors and hosts were kind, friendly, and we had a pleasant stay.Also, there were cherry blossoms in the garden, so it was great to have a BBQ while viewing the blossoms. The room was also very clean and comfortable. I think it is a good place for sightseeing, with easy access to tourist destinations such as Sunmesse, Uto Shrine, and Aoshima. I would definitely use it again!Thank you very much.

This is a fabulous luxury stay. The space has been outfitted with the highest attention to detail. The experience is marvellous - Victoria can take you on a tour of the temple and give a bit of her husband’s family history. It was a little tricky to find initially (buy putting the temple in as the destination put us on the right track) and Victoria was in constant communication. It is within very close proximity to the Takachiho Gorge and a wealth of natural beauty. If you just want to chill the area is rural and very peaceful. We had the first night to ourselves and then shared with a very respectful group from Taiwan. Can thoroughly recommend.
