We enjoyed our time at this place immensely. Marissa was a great and responsive host, the site was beautiful, full of birds and flowers and of course a view on the lake. Easy to find. The only thing I can think of is that the cabin we rented looked bigger on the Airbnb-photos. We didn't think we'd had the kitchen, living room and bedroom all in one space. But as we spent nearly all day outside, this was just a minor detail.

The Casa del Cenote Negro is a wonderful, lagoon-front, spacious space to spend time in Bacalar. It was great for our family of 4, but could accommodate more people comfortably with it's 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. The casa is rustic but comfortable. This is not a luxury accommodation, but it is priced and advertised accordingly. The beds are comfortable and the a/c in the bedrooms is wonderful (Bacalar is hot and humid!). The location on the cenote is unmatched, with use of the kayaks, paddleboard, and lilypad to float on. Jacqui is a friendly and helpful host. She even offered us a small plate of the dinner she prepared on the night we arrived because my son was starving after a long drive!

If you want to have an extraordinary experience, away from tourists and with spectacular views, this is the right place! The lagoon is beautiful, the facilities are comfortable, to enjoy the outdoors! The kitchen is complete enough for cooking and drinking water is provided. A caretaker is present 24 hours a day and always ready to help you. Special mention to Fili, who lit a charcoal BBQ for us at 42 degrees Celsius!!! Our hosts are very responsive and quick. Just bring earplugs to sleep, because the road is busy and the birds sing very early in the morning. It's a real paradise!

Mariana’s place is a perfect accommodation for Bacalar. To be lagoon side and have a gorgeous property to enjoy is an experience my family will remember forever. The house was clean, orderly, and had all that we needed to enjoy cooking at home and enjoy our leisure time. I hope this magical spot stays just as wonderful and beautiful for our next visit. This was actually the second place we had booked for Bacalar as the first got cancelled by the host due to storm damage. This place was incredible and a huge, great for the 3 couples we had with enough privacy. All the facilities were great and unlimited filtered water and kayaks was a nice bonus. I would say you need a car for most things as it’s a little bit too far to walk to town but we did end up getting taxis to town one evening so everyone could have a drink. The host and housekeeper were extremely helpful with this and sorted it all out for us. Highly recommended and probably our favourite place we stayed in Yucatán

I would go back again. A small but well-furnished house, with everything you might need, even for longer stays, because it is safe, clean, equipped, nice and comfortable. I was left with the impression that Sergio strives to offer good accommodation and to be attentive to his guests. The location was good for us. Recommended!

Adrian's place is a gem! and so is he. his place is nice and spacious, super clean and close to everything in the city and lagoon. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. exceptionally value. Adrian is a very conscientious host and was quick to respond to any questions we had. He also checked on us a few times to make sure if needed anything. Overall fantastic stay. Thank you Adrian!

Excellent location, in the corner there is an oxxo, the area is safe. The accommodation has 3 rooms, the first room has 1 double bed and 2 singles, in the 2nd room it has 1 double and in the third room equal to a single double bed, each with its own climate. The kitchen has the essentials for cooking, everything working well, the only detail I saw is that the cup tank takes too long to fill up. I highly recommend it.

Andrea’s place in Bacalar was fantastic!!! The space was clean, comfortable, and even more beautiful than the photos. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design and hospitality—every detail was perfect. The location was peaceful and felt like a true getaway, while still being close enough to enjoy everything Bacalar has to offer. Andrea was responsive, kind, informative, and made check-in a breeze. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The stay at the place was excellent. We felt comfortable and at home. We were not lucky enough to see the host in person, but he was always attentive and keeps the house in excellent condition. I would definitely return and recommend it. It is a good place to spend a vacation or a few days of rest with the family. It was more than I expected in terms of value for money

I stayed at Ernestino's house with my family and we had a great time. The place is really nice, with a large patio perfect for spending time together and enjoying as a family. It also has direct access to the lagoon, which made our stay even more special. Ernestina was an exceptional host, always attentive to our needs and making sure everything was in perfect condition. The kitchen is fully stocked, which allowed us to prepare our meals without a problem. Another point worth mentioning is the internet, which worked wonderfully. This was key for me, as I was able to do my career work without any problems while the rest of the family enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely come back.

We enjoyed our time in this spacious apartment. The privacy of the yard from the neighbors and the street is really nice. The furniture and fixtures aren't fancy or modern (save the induction burner and front-load washing machine) but it's all very functional. The internet connection and speed were good; the AC works well. It was mostly quiet at night for sleeping.

Staying at Carlo's place was the best choice, close to the lagoon for walking and a restaurant, the area is really quiet, walking to the center was quite an experience. As a plus, you have two bicycles to make the tours, they are formidable. Just like home, the place is super comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Special mention to Carlo, there was a problem with the lights that was beyond his control. But he was always attentive. Thank you. I hope to return soon.

The house is absolutely incredible to rest and be with family or friends. Fully equipped, clean and comfortable. Exactly like photos, three families can be comfortably. The view of the bay is amazing! Maria's attention to everything we needed was quick and efficient. The service of the team that takes care of the house like Mrs. Gladys who in addition to cooking delicious, gives you an exceptional treatment so you don't have to worry about anything. I would definitely spend a few quiet and relaxed days again. Thank you very much for everything!

We loved Casa Malaga! It's a hidden oasis that our family really enjoyed. It was well decorated, spotlessly clean, and really added to our overall vacation. The outdoor backyard was great to just read in while the kids played in the plunge pool. We will definitely be back!

The space is wonderful. We felt very comfortable. You spend a lot of time in the fresh air. Unfortunately, the photos were a little older and now some roofs have been added, which is why we had little sun. Still highly recommended. Next door is a small supermarket with good prices and lots of choice.
