Amazing cottage, we got exactly what we came for, a perfect English countryside experience. The environment is probably the absolute best, the house is surrounded by walking paths, fields, forests, horses and other animals - it is truly beautiful. You need a car to move around, but by that multiple sights to visit are nearby, we particularly liked Henley-on-Thames. The outdoors and indoors of the house are also reflecting the vibe, the atmosphere is very much as shown on the photos. The kitchen is perfectly functional, the rooms' size and arrangement are perfect for 3 people, and the mattrasse in the bedroom is exceptionally comfy. A great plus that the house is also properly insulated and warm, which is a rarity! We had a fantastic time at Carina's (many thanks for the helpfulness as well!) and fullheartedly recommend this place.

Stayed at David’s pool house retreat for a quick getaway and honestly didn’t want to leave . The place is super clean & comfortable. The heated pool and jacuzzi were perfect - I spent way more time out there than I expected . It felt private and peaceful , exactly what I needed . David was a great host - easy to communicate with , helpful but not intrusive . Definitely one of those stays that make you want to come back . Highly recommend if you’re looking to relax and reset.

From the moment we arrived, we felt the wonderful energy of Alex's beautiful home. Alex is an exceptional host, always responsive and going above and beyond. The countryside details throughout the house are so charming and create a truly artful living space. The view was simply breathtaking - a picturesque scene of cows and fields. My birthday was made extra special thanks to Alex's thoughtful surprises. And the sauna and pool was absolutely blissful! Thank you for such a memorable stay. We really enjoyed staying at the Old Sunday School. Paul was very friendly and helpful. The home was as described inside and out. The bed in on the mezzanine level was very comfortable and cosy. The added extension lead to the far side of the bed was great for phone charging. The conservatory at the back was a lovely place to eat with views of the garden. The welcome basket was amazing with bread, bacon, eggs from the hens in garden, butter, coffee , milk and a selection of Jams, the best welcome pack we have had so far in our Airbnb stays. We definitely recommend this home for a lovely relaxing holiday, and we would stay here again.

really enjoyed our stay in this tiny place. good to be aware there is no lounge area (inside though there is outside) - it is really small, and not much window! but it is very sweet and in the loveliest quiet spot beside a canal - so the walks etc were gorgeous and it was a good base. we had some issues early on but Heather was really responsive and helpful and someone came over and sorted us out quickly and with minimum fuss. For that reason I am giving 5 stars. They do seem to care about your comfort. Lovely quirky place for 2.

The urban stay flat I had was PERFECT. It was spotless, and had all the little things you could think of (including a nespresso machine). The building was private so it felt safe and everyone was super friendly and helpful in the building. The amenities were great, having a gym to use was amazing as well as a separate coworking space for when I had to do some work. The flat was walking distance to so many great shopping spots, restaurants and transportation ways. I would 100% stay with them again when in London for long periods of time!

My partner and I stayed 2 nights for his birthday and had a lovely time. Sarah was extremely attentive—always reachable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. She sourced tools when we had car trouble, set up outdoor seating when we were on the pagoda, and accommodated extras like a birthday surprise and a stunning sharing board. Breakfast was also amazing. She kindly let us use the pool even though it was out of season. A few things to note: the upstairs tenant can be heard (as described), and the pool/sitting area feels slightly overlooked by the main house and upstairs entrance. The dogs can be noisy but were moved on quickly when needed. The jacuzzi may need a check—both of us had skin reactions after use. The main bed was also quite squeaky, waking us at times. Overall, though, a welcoming and thoughtful stay with personal touches that made it memorable.

Honestly had the most amazing time. If you’re a young family like us you will be glad to know that the hosts had great care for our child’s safety, making sure to instruct us on any possible hazard/risk presenting and how to avoid them. They were incredibly welcoming and let us get straight to doing what we stayed there to do, relax. We are locals and we will definitely be back again at the earliest opportunity. It honestly didn’t feel like we were still in Oxford. The property is completely secure, very quiet and incredibly clean, modern features, great experience (see you again soon!)

Another lovely weekend break at The Barn. It's a perfect space for our group of friends to catch up and chill out. Always spotless and clean. We lucked out with the weather and the pool and tennis court got some good use. We had a lovely 6 mile walk around the Surrey Hills with the beautiful Abinger Hatch pub a half way point. Daniel was very welcoming and friendly and accessible to answer our queries. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery but we forgot cling film and foil, so bring some if you think you will be using it. There is a lovely outdoor seating area and dining table which was a lovely afternoon sun trap. All in all a perfect stay and we will be coming again next year!

We had such an enjoyable and relaxing first visit here that we had to come back again! The feeling of having your own private spa facilities is just fantastic and I didn’t want to ever get out of the pool! Lucinda and Benji were both so friendly and helpful, and were super responsive to our questions. Looking forward to our next visit.

Bigger and better than the photos, all the great reviews here are to be believed, our only regret is we weren’t staying longer, key instructions are very simple and easy to set up ahead of time to activate at the checkin time, google maps led us to the correct entrance. Trees and foliage between the main house and the Cabin make this feel very private, with the sauna and hot tub a short walk away and even more private! Lots of things to discover and nice additions and touches here and there. Heating and lighting all straight forward and labelled on the switches and the controllers, beds were all very very comfortable. We will definitely be back in the summer and for a couple of nights, would recommend this to couples, adult groups and parents/kids, there is something here for everyone!

I choose places based on having a calm atmosphere and this has now topped it! Nice to know that I have now found a place that I know text time I stay, it will be what I was initially trying to find. The apartment is in a great location in the heart of Covent Garden, it felt really safe, and was perfect for nipping in and out to visit shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is clean, well equipped, and really well layed out with a little balcony overlooking the communal gardens, it was really quiet considering it's location. Our host, Sofia, was great at communicating, and made checking in and checking out very easy. We had a great stay as a group of 5 ladies visiting for a 40th birthday.

Fiona’s property exceeded our expectations. We had a warm welcome, a thoughtful hamper and plenty of information to help make full use of the barn. A beautiful place, fully equipped, extremely comfortable, a real home from home. The property was full of interesting and quirky art, with quiet, relaxing surroundings. Couldn’t recommend this more highly. We had a lovely weekend just wished we had been able to stay longer.

We had a fantastic stay at Vale Retreats. The accommodation was lovely and well equipped for a long weekend stay. The pool was lovely and 90mins per day was more than enough time for the kids to play and burn off some energy. The location was great. Lots of lovely countryside walks and Winslow was a stones throw away. We went on to Woburn Safari which was a 35 minute car journey away. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Bridget was a wonderful host!

The location of the unit is near all of the main sites by short uber or walk. There is a great coffee shop downstairs and great takeout across the street. Walkable large grocery store. The unit itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Giuseppe greeted us and was very welcoming. Beds were comfortable and AC worked great. Terrace is lovely option when weather is nice. Felt very safe and quiet unit and building. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Was a great place to come back to after a long day of activities!

We had a lovely Easter weekend here as a three-generation family – grandparents, parents, and young children all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is absolutely beautiful , stylish, and full of character, set in a peaceful spot, it even includes an old water-mill. The location was ideal for us with easy access to Oxford and the surrounding area. There’s a new children's play area just a short walk away, and the local farm shop nearby was perfect for picking up fresh produce and treats – we had everything we needed without having to go far. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the house was spotless with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for everyone to relax.

I had a fabulous stay with my family! Sami was a great and very active host. He was very quick and helpful with his answers. The house met every expectation I’ve had and went beyond. Having a pool on a sunny day especially made our day. The house and rooms were also very spacious. As a pianist, I especially liked that the house had a piano, which I thought was a nice touch. A beautiful property to spend the Easter weekend. The house is even larger than the photos, great kitchen, lots of amenities and we loved the manicured garden with many activities available. We were lucky to have sunny weather so could enjoy the cold pool. Hot tub was great! Very well located, pub close by, easy to reach via train. Hosts were responsive and easy communication, thank you! We visited London for 4 days. Kate's apartment is adorable and even more beautiful in real than the pictures. The location is just outside London, but the center is easy to reach by bus and metro. Since it was high temperatures, the bathroom in the beautiful and clean pool just came to us. Communication with Kate is quick and excellent. We would definitely come back. Thank you Kate!

Although the entrance from the street is a bit old looking, once the apartment door is opened, one realizes what a wonderful spot it is. There were all the amenities I needed, the bed and couch were quite comfortable. It was a great walk to my office across the river. (and of course, Battersea park is very closeby). The host was very responsive to my questions. I hope the apartment is available the next time I am in London!
