Irene’s cottage is beautifully decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Lovely pub just down the road and very peaceful, highly recommended.

Perfect location. The house was very comfortable with lots of thought given to amenities and interior decoration. There was a welcome basket with bread eggs and juice and milk in fridge which was very thoughtful. Can recommend.

Our second stay here and it was great to be back. Lovely cottage in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with very friendly, welcoming hosts.

First impression was simply !WOW! Raine went above and beyond expectations. We arrived late and she welcomed us with a cheery smile, then showed us around the apartment which is so very welcoming and cosy especially as the log burner had been lit. There was a tea tray all set up with treats, there were treats in the fridge, in the conservatory, in the living room. Then she announces that she would serve breakfast for us ... did not expect that! It was amazing! The apartment is surrounded by a beautiful garden complete with a couple benches, almost calling out for a morning coffee or afternoon tea. The Wood is perfectly placed for trips to Largs, Helensburgh or even Glasgow. Raine is the perfect host and absolutely brings a new level to Hospitality.
