A successful vacation from arrival to departure. Very nice hosts who fulfill all wishes if you have like us :-) Very quiet location, almost in the forest and the garden has been rightly awarded by B.U.N.D.. Just right for extremely stressed people like me, e.g. Nearby attractions are a short time away by car. The location is ideal, almost central. The set-up of the apartment is well described. Everything you need on vacation is there and leaves nothing to be desired. Conclusion: Highly recommended!

Large home with a lot of space in the middle of greenery. Very quiet location and hiking trails right outside. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi and the gas oven did not work, but did not reduce the stay.

We had a perfect family break in Sauerland. The accommodation as a former inn has character and plenty to offer: a large garden with many tables, chairs, loungers, a barbecue and a boules court, tastefully furnished rooms with small but fine associated bathrooms (very pleasant!). Also in the kitchen we had everything we needed - including a dishwasher that is ready after two minutes:). The landlords are reserved, friendly and helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the house.

The accommodation was ideal and also 100% what we imagined. Initially, before booking and right after, the communication about the AirBnB chat was very quick and informative. However, there were additional costs in the booking confirmation, which were not recognizable in advance. Upon request, the following was repeatedly confirmed: Mandatory additional costs paid at check-in - Security deposit: 400€ (On arrival you have to pay the deposit in cash) - Bed linen: rent possible, €10 per person/stay After a consistently nice communication with Erik and Angelique from the LANDHAUS WINTERBERG (thank you both), additional costs to be paid on site were then informed: - 400 EURO deposit - final cleaning of 400€ - Environmental protection tax of 65€ - Tourist tax of 2€per person per night - Additional maintenance cost of €100/ night This information was simply not given to us here via AirBnB!

Everything was great and we felt very comfortable

The landlords are incredibly helpful and friendly. Offer for private horse and farm tour. Farewell gifts for the younger children. Every request /request was implemented immediately. The apartment really offers a lot in a very quiet and lonely environment. Game corners, lots of toilets and large bedrooms offer a great ambiance for a trip for all ages. Keep it up...

We were in the house with the whole family over Easter. It was so super nice in the middle of nature. Everything was easily accessible by foot. The house is super clean and very comfortable. We will be back!

Very nice house with large garden (not fenced) and large cozy lounge area on the ground floor. The kitchen was super equipped. The rooms were spacious and clean. Two of the rooms were through rooms, which did not bother us so much. There was a barn with ping pong table and even an extra room where you could sit and make a fire. Overall a very nice house for groups.

Nice house to stay in with a group. Bedrooms are spacious. Nice to have a separate large kitchen and a separate living room that we all fit in (12 adults, 3 children). Stair gates are also available at a number of stairs, great!

We spent a family here and are very satisfied. The house is excellently equipped and the furnishings, although clearly outdated, are still fully functional. For children, there is an indoor playground nearby and fresh ingredients and rolls can be found in the immediate vicinity. Communication and organization were just excellent and we can give a clear recommendation! Many thanks to the hosts!

Herbert is a great host. Our children had great fun trekking and pony riding! Also sheep and rabbits are allowed to pet the children. A large playground is across the property. In addition, a large living room with everything you need. Barbecues/bonfires are also possible. Ideal place for larger groups surrounded by nature and 6 km from the center. We will definitely return! Thank you!

Perfect home for us to cycle with some friends in the region in the region. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and large living room. Bedrooms were fine. Location is perfect and easily accessible. Instructions to get in were clear. You can sit there on the balcony and there is a large garage to store our bicycles. Definitely a note!

Delightfully enjoyed this cozy house. There was even a real Christmas tree for the real Christmas feeling. From the cottage, walk one way to the beautiful forest for a fresh walk and interesting cycling routes start on the other. We were lucky with a thick pack of snow, and a nice sunshine. So highly recommended!
