Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

Perfect home for us to cycle with some friends in the region in the region. Kitchen was well equipped, clean and large living room. Bedrooms were fine. Location is perfect and easily accessible. Instructions to get in were clear. You can sit there on the balcony and there is a large garage to store our bicycles. Definitely a note!

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.

We celebrated a round birthday with 20 people. The place was ideal for that. It has everything you need for the accommodation and meals of a larger group. The rooms are good and everything works in the kitchen. The large common area is perfect for shared food and long game nights. The area offers a number of activities for young and old and in the nearby Winterberg you will find plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. We enjoyed the stay and can recommend the accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay. The house corresponds to the pictures and descriptions. It was very clean, the house very well equipped. Highlights were the wonderful view as well as the sauna. Absolutely recommended!

Business stay to Düsseldorf area

I'm a bit hesitant to write a review, cause i'd love to keep this place to myself! We had an incredible weekend with a group of dads and sons, the house is just perfect for this. Location, you're on the Eifelsteig route, the Laufenbach river is literally in the yard. And inside it has all the comfort you need. Most bedrooms on a different floor than living room and kitchen, which is great when some stay up late and others sleep early. Fantastic fireplace and sauna. We had an incredible time. So I gave it all away ;-)

We had a lovely weekend with 17 girls. Being all under one roof was just very cool, as well as this well-equipped kitchen, a dining room with a long chalkboard and the large couch. Everything we needed was there. We even liked the house better than in the photos. Thank you 🫶🏼

Super nice cottage, everything present and clean. We were 6 adults, 4 children and two dogs. Plenty of room to sit/play/eat etc. The several bathrooms and toilets are very nice. Kitchen very complete. The park is also neatly landscaped and plenty to do in the area. Mini mini nagging point was that the BBQ could not be used (broken and dirty), which says enough that was the only thing:)! We will definitely come back!

Everything was nice. But the beds can be of higher quality, they are not comfortable and make noise.
