Everything was wonderful at Cullenbone Cottage! The location is perfect, quiet and surrounded with nature while being just a short 10min drive to Mudgee town centre. Claudine is very thoughtful and gave us plenty of recommendations for the weekend and the bed is probably one of the most comfortable we ever slept in! We will definitely be back.

Janene's place was stunning ! We loved the view our over the valley, the amazing sunsets and how close it was to Mudgee and surrounds. Sitting outside every night was a treat, and the stars were so bright!! The house itself was lovely, the fairy lights in each room made it feel really special. A very real, rustic farmhouse feel. We spotted lots of kangaroos/wallabies hopping around, and there were so many fairy wrens& butterflies! 1 of the 3 bedrooms shares a wall with the main house but you do have to go outside and back in to access the bathroom, no issue for us. We had very minor trouble finding which way to turn when we first arrived but Janene was very quick to respond and let us know to cross the slightly hidden bridge - actually very easily locatable once you knew to look for the red and white 'candycane' poles. There is a steep ascent on a rocky gravel road which maybe some cars couldn't handle, but this was made clear to us before coming and our Hyundai Tuscan SUV was fine

Excellent property, comfortably sleeps and accommodates for 8 adults. Spotlessly clean, nice cold ducted air con, plenty of nice outdoor space and undercover parking/balcony. Note property is right on the highway so there is some road noise but not an issue! And being far enough out of town the stars are incredible from the bedroom windows even! Jo was very responsive and accomodating.

I think the highlight was the welcoming committee each morning and night - the pets 💕 The dogs just wanted a pat , as did the cat . Never any problem . The accomodation itself was cosy and very adequate for 2 adults . The cubby had everything we needed . Everything was clean and tidy . Linen - both towels and bedding - was soft . Bec and family were so accomodating and would be more than happy to stay there again .
