With lots of classic Lakeland walks on offer from the front door, this easy-living family home is a proven haven. We’re taking extra steps to sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations after the coronavirus. Ample precautionary signs are in place on the stairs leading to the loft conversion bedroom upstairs.

Our house is close to the centre of Coniston village, 2 mins walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and a short stroll down to the lake. The house has quality furniture and fittings, we've taken time over everything, the wood burning stove, comfy beds and the modern well equipped kitchen. There's beautiful landscapes throughout and some unique leaded glass by Sarah Lace. You can leave the car and walk everywhere if you wish. Our house is good for couples, families and one well behaved dog.

This is a delightful holiday house, located in a very peaceful part of Keswick. Private off street parking for two cars. A very pretty garden to relax in , enjoy a bbq or two. The house is so welcoming , lovely front sitting room with smart TV and views up to the fells. Large dining room with sitting for 6, doors lead onto the patio, garden area. A super well equipped kitchen. Upstairs three pretty bedrooms with very comfy beds. A small but perfect bathroom with shower, loo and sink.

Our bungalow, Oban, is in a great location on the edge of the Lake District. We are just five minutes from the beach with views up the Duddon Estuary with the glorious backdrop of the Cumbrian Fells. It is ideal for families who enjoy the outdoor life as there are so many walks just locally or in the Lakes. Your pets are very welcome but we need to warn you that the garden is not fenced in. The village of Ireleth is quiet but very friendly and there are shops and take aways nearby in Askam.

WIFI + smart TV with Freeview Access by steep track, unsuitable for wheelchair. 5 minutes to village shop. 4 miles Alston for supermarkets, antiques, wholefood shop, petrol, pharmacy, steam railway. Lovely quirky cottage in a great location for all Coniston has to offer. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the kids loved the foosball table. The parking is a little tricky, especially if you have a bigger car, the video provided for parking is very helpful. The hosts were great, we had a slight issue with the locks but they sorted it for us promptly which we were very grateful for. If you’d like a unique property within walking distance of coniston water and plenty of places to eat this is a great option. We would however advise booking to eat if you want a table in the evening during holiday time, super busy! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

A perfect stay in The Lakes. Could not of asked for a better location. The property was beautiful with stunning views. Communication was very good with very clear instructions. The icing on the cake was the bathroom, absolutely glorious. Will definitely be returning.

We had a super stay in Helton, we are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The cottage was beautiful and very cosy and comfortable, it is really well equipped and we loved having the log burner. Claire and Chris were extremely welcoming and friendly, they went above and beyond and gave us lots of tips about local walks and cycles and the local pubs. We loved Helton and neighbouring Askham. Askham has a lovely pub with good food. The location was peaceful and rural but very accessible to other parts of the Lake District. Would highly recommend and hope to return 😊

We had a truly lovely stay at this comfortable and pristine clean cottage, hidden away in a peaceful location with stunning views in every direction. It’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking fresh air, tranquility, and access to a range of beautiful hikes and cozy local pubs. We spent two nights here and didn’t want to leave! Lynda and Fraser were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and recommended a stunning walk to Cautley Spout, which quickly became a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this gem of a place — we’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay near Wastwater. Beautiful flat, nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. On the first floor with outdoor steps. Easy short walk down to the lake to swim or launch paddlboards. Can walk fells from the flat, perfect location. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

As soon as we arrived Alison was there ready to give us any direction we needed. Cottage its self was perfect and provided plenty of space for two people and a big dog! Lovely surrounding area for anything from enjoying the sun by the stream or hikes up the mountains. And about 1 minutes walk from the pub!

Five stars across the board - gorgeous house and lovely location, on the doorstep of some really nice walks. House was very clean and tidy and easy to use amenities as everything was labelled. Lovely comfy beds & nice linen, and a very well stocked kitchen which was great! Lorraine has been very helpful throughout and communication is timely, even over the Christmas break which was appreciated. Stunning value for money - we can’t wait to be back!!
