Exceptional Stay, Highly Recommended! My stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. The property was spotless, with a modern and inviting design that made it feel like a home away from home. The host was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and thoughtful, ensuring that every detail was taken care of for a seamless experience. The amenities provided were top-notch, from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable bedding and well-maintained spaces. The location was perfect – close to the water and peaceful enough to relax during the holidays. I particularly loved the outdoor area, which was perfect for unwinding in the evening. Great times and memories with my children. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We loved our stay at The Riverside Retreat! The house was easy to find and check-in was effortless. The guidebook that had been provided gave us all the information that we needed. The guide was very well thought out and so thorough that we did not need to ask any questions. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spacious! We immediately felt at home when we entered! We loved that they had thought to include a Christmas tree. We enjoyed spending time in the living room relaxing and enjoying the nature view. The home was very well-lit which was so helpful with the shorter daylight days. We appreciated the TVs that were available in the living area and bedrooms and the snacks and supplies that were available. Connie was a very nice and helpful host! We are looking forward to returning again!

If we could give more stars we would. My sister and sister in law are world travelers and their feedback as well as mine is “we wouldn’t change a thing.” Furnishings comfy and bright, beds perfect, hot tub a bonus, robes delightful. Location serene and quiet. We wanted for nothing in the way of cookery. It is high end not cheap. Coffee/tea was provided. We were encouraged to help ourselves to the pantry. The kitchen, dining area overlooks the sound. We watched, waterman going out to pickup their crab traps, eagles and herons flew overhead. Every bedroom took advantage of the gorgeous views. We walked out to the dock which is wide and well lighted in the evening. I must give kudos for the exceptionally clean house. We enjoyed the washer and dryer with all necessary detergents provided. Lisa’s bungalow was perfect for 2 couples; we each had our own bathroom. The house was extremely clean and bright, decorated with beautiful artwork throughout. The kitchen was big and modern. Lisa was always responsive. It was a cozy abode in winter. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely unbeatable - so private and peaceful. John was very responsive and super accommodating. We definitely want to go back!

We spent Thanksgiving here and it was truly special. The house was very spacious for 2 families. The teenagers (and adults) loved having the pool table right next to the living room/TV. The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was relaxing under the stars. For being a house from 1889, everything was well taken care of, including the dock and grounds. We would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved Phillip’s incredibly charming and cozy cottage! The interior is gorgeous and the exterior waterfront view will take your breath away! We spent a lot of time fishing on the dock and loved eating our bountiful catch! Lots to explore nearby in the quaint small towns of the Northern Neck! Phillip was very quick to respond to my many questions and always offered local recommendations which we really appreciated! We did a quick run to Walmart to get firewood for the outdoor pit, bait and $9 camping chairs. The chairs made our dock fishing more comfortable than the built-in dock bench. My advice is run, don’t walk, to secure a reservation at this stunning waterfront oasis! We can’t wait to return! K Helms, Clifton, VA

We had a wonderful stay at the Rivah house. it's a beautiful location and kayaks are provided. there's also a full kitchen, lots of sleeping space, and a big tv. A great place to enjoy time in the water and see a beautiful and lesser known part of Virginia.

Absolutely stunning views! Every window you look out of you have a water view. We visited in the wintertime and it was so peaceful and quiet. The house was stocked with yard games/board games/water sports so I can only imagine the fun we’d have if we booked during the summer months. Dave & Melissa had amazing communication. Perfect place for a getaway!

Suuuuch a beautiful place. Beautiful stay. The hosts made everything 10xs better. Everything was super clean. Stayed for Thanksgiving and realized we forgot our turkey blaster and couldn’t find one at the house (the one thing they didn’t have because they had everything!). After mentioning it to the hosts, we had one delivered in less than 30 min. Can’t say enough about them and their attentiveness. Will be back!

Impeccable experience! This Airbnb, and hosts Tim and Christie, thought of everything! The house is filled with pristine, beautiful linens, the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced in a rental, and more. Memory foam mattresses in all bedrooms, fluffy down pillows, and plenty of blankets. The sofa was super comfortable, and the large screen TV was a smart TV, so we could continue to watch our shows easily. The kitchen was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed to cook at the Airbnb. Everything looks and feels brand new at the house. The home is bright and airy, and the layout is just perfect. The bedroom in the loft was really nice to have. We slept extremely comfortably every night. The neighborhood is quiet, and the water is absolutely breathtaking. We would absolutely recommend this Airbnb 100%.. would love to return to this beautiful Airbnb. I could not give this a higher recommendation! :-)

We visited the area to go fossil hunting and landed on Kyli's house due to the proximity to the local beaches, Solomons Island, access to a private beach, and the listed amenities. Kylis place was within 20 min in either direction of the local attractions. We LOVED the super soft beds, hot tub, and that we could bring our furry friends. We even found some very cool Ecphora fossils in the private beach the day we checked out. Would happily return in the future, Kyli was responsive and helpful!

We wanted to escape the city for the weekend and Rachel's place was perfect. Very peaceful and Setene, with things to do not far away. would love to come back in a warmer month to take full advantage of being on the water.

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

My family and I spent Christmas at this cabin and we enjoyed every second of it. The cabin was clean, safe, and beautiful. We have no complaints at all. Most importantly, the hosts were super responsive and have always answered my questions within 30 minutes. I definitely want to return here for another family trip.

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

Our third stay, certainly not our last. Abundantly clear how much care has been put into this quirky, comfortable, lovely, sweet and one of a kind place over the years, and nice to see its keepers maintaining it as lovingly as they do—new artwork, appliances, paint, windows since our last stay. Best view in town with well supplied and furnished outdoor space to match, calming and carefully chosen and cohesive decor and furniture, great hikes and parks and museums all around, everything so, so good, big recommend!!!!!

I couldn't say enough about how incredible my experience here was. We faced a small challenge upon arrival (out of the owners control) and the host resolved the issue immediately. Our stay was incredible and they regularly checked in to ensure our satisfaction. I have never experience a more caring and engaged owner so I will definitely be back! Great spot!

Just a stunning location! The bird watching was marvelous, every morning a pair of swans landed and swam around until dusk. Lots of blue herons, too. Good fishing right out of the back yard. The kitchen was very well appointed, good cookware, plates, cups, etc. bed were comfortable with really nice pillows. We spent most of our time around the fire pit or on the screened porch. A great place for relaxing!

The property is very attractive and comfortable. The outside decks, screened porch and fire pit are very nice and even though we were here in January and there was snow and freezing rain, you could appreciate the lovely property and views. The home was wonderfully clean and prepared for our visit. With the turn in the weather the game room was a nice treat for all three generations of our family. Julie was easy to reach and flexible to work with. We were snug and comfortable inside while winter swirled around us. I would be happy to stay here again.
