Vacation rentals with lake access in Westchester County

Kelley was very clear that the place is her home - and the special touches made it feel so welcoming and cozy. We spent a weekend there, including one day when 4 of us were working. Everyone had plenty of space and amazing views for remote work. The kitchen is great with new pots and pans. Kelley was generous with her coffee and left us a nice bottle of wine at check in. The master bedroom had curtains only on one side, so if morning light isn’t something you love, pack a sleep mask. All the beds and couches and views were wonderful. We would definitely go back.

This is a really special place. I grew up nearby and miss the area. This house isn’t only right on Lake Waccabuc but on a particular spot that has a perfect balance of seclusion and beauty. Also, during the winters it’s a section of the lake that freezes first. We got to witness some pond hockey players during our Christmas getaway!

The house is lovely, bright, lots of light. There is privacy as no houses are nearby. Appliances are top notch, beds are comfortable. The host responds quickly to any questions. This is a great place to stay.

Charming and spacious historic home in a quiet little town just minutes from Ridgefield, CT, with its beautiful downtown and many restaurants. We are airbnb frequent flyers, and this home was easily one of our favorites. The hosts happily accommodated our last-minute reservation due to an extended power outage at our home nearby. They sent very detailed directions and instructions in advance and were very responsive. The home was immaculate with tons of character, thoughtful updates, and tasteful decor. Our kids thorougly enjoyed their "mini-vacation," and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Well....this was our 4th stay here, I think - that should speak volumes on a really terrific Airbnb to chose. This, when available on the dates, is our primary 'go-to' when we are in the area, as we know what the house is all about and the great comms we have constantly with Victoria! This house has a river view which I liked the most. Because the land is so big, I feel I am in a forest next to a river with quiet and private environment. The owner is great and responded in no time. I will refer to my friends.

Such a wonderful stay! From the second we booked, we felt taken care of. Very responsive and lots of local recommendations. When we arrived, they had left us treats from a coffee shop in the area. All of the little details were very appreciated. We felt cozy, comfortable and completely at home. We are looking forward to coming again when it’s warmer. Great place for our family to stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. Peaceful and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! Bathroom was spa-like, beds were comfortable and warm. Big TV and comfy couch was great for a family movie night. Kitchen was very well equipped. Will definitely come again!

This is my second stay in the past two weeks - I highly recommend this spot. It’s private and beautiful. A quick drive to Bedford, and local restaurants are right down the road. The place is spotless, fully stocked and Fred is a great host. He’s so nice!

With its natural lighting and simple yet elegant decor the space we had for the weekend was perfect. The house is located in a quiet area with lots of privacy. Our stay at Emily’s cottage was wonderful. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable and restful stay. The surroundings are beautiful and Emily is a great host. We would definitely return.
