Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Westchester County

Victoria is the most helpful, accommodating, responsive host I have come across renting a home. The house is really lovely and set up nicely with everything you need. It is a 3 bedroom home with 3 queens and one of the queen rooms also has a nice bunkbed. There is a bit of traffic on the road but that seems to be normal for most places around the area. I brought a couple of West Point Cadets there since they got an unexpected Labor Day Weekend pass. We ended up hanging at the house one night and just having frozen pizzas and watching TV and it was really comfortable and relaxing.

Having a current child / Cadet at West Point and also another child / graduate of West Point , we always make it a point to stay at different Airbnbs in small towns around the USMA on both sides of the Hudson River . Melanie ‘s place was wonderful. Plenty of rooms/ beds for our Parent Weekend visit. Peaceful and safe location , yet a short 20 minute drive to the Academy . We felt right at home and look forward to staying at Melanie’s place again . The house was very clean and we had no issues at all !! Thank you

This was a lovely home. Very easy getting inside. Everything was exactly as listed, pictured and described. We felt so cozy and welcomed by Susan. The house had everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and convenient and was very clean. I had a few questions during our visit and Susan was extremely responsive and so kind. I highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were very nice and had great water pressure and nice hot water. We truly felt at home and we're beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this home for anyone need of an Airbnb in the area. Lovely home and property.

Wonderful AirBnB with all the comforts of home, exceptionally clean, and nicely decorated and maintained. A little worried about this secret getting out because I want it to be available my next visit! Elizabeth was a pleasure to communicate with and very responsive.

Phyllis and Tony were terrific hosts. They were helpful and friendly. The property is very, very nice...from the private enclosed deck area with attractive plantings to the very comfortable living room/dining area...it was terrific. We had a big age spread...from 60's to 30's to 10 months. It was excellent for all of us. It is remarkable how quiet and peaceful the immediate neighborhood is while being 5-10 minutes from everything you could need. From pizzas to grocery stores...everything was easily accessible. We cannot thank Phyllis and Tony enough for the wonderful time we spent at their property. John and Ellen, and family

My party was in town for work, and ended up dealing with a nightmare of a host halfway through our stay. We needed a new location on short notice, which led to Lisa showing us what it looks like to go above and beyond for their guests. She accepted my request and communicated the check in process all at the late hour of 1am, as we were being unjustly evicted by the nightmare host Helen at Pound Ridge. The following morning around 7am, she proceeded to assist us with checking in and getting settled. The entire process was a 6 hour turnaround overnight from booking to check in, in which she was vigilantly working to make our transition comfortable. Lisa also offered to have the house dusted before we arrive, which was unnecessary because the house is spotless and stocked with hygiene amenities. Everything inside the home was staged properly to the point where we barely had to reach out for assistance. Lisa deserved all the praise.. it’s worth paying extra for hosts with high praise.

We have stayed at a lot of AirBnBs over the years, and this is one of the absolute best! The natural light in the mornings floods the place and brings a sense of warmth to what is already an incredibly warm environment. The decor is beautiful, from the lighting to the photography and pottery. RJ and John were very responsive and helpful, and we took their recommendations on a couple restaurants and hikes which were wonderful. It is ideally located with Pound Rodge, Bedford, Ridgefield and other towns a short drive (usually 10-15 minutes at the most). We will absolutely try to book sweetbriar guesthouse again when visiting Pound Ridge.

Bobby’s place was great for my birthday weekend!! It felt right at home and more ❤️ The only thing I can complain about is that there are barley corner stores lol but that has nothing to do with how great of a host Bobby was, thank you! I hope to come visit again 🙂

This locations was central and easy to find. Street parking was great, there was many spots and I had no issues. Safe and quiet neighborhood. I came for a short weekend stay and I had no issues, would recommend for a quiet get away. I didn't stay in the airbnb much, as I was busy with other activities and came late. But I did feel safe there. It is downstairs with someone living above but I had no issue. The accommodation inside were great; tea, coffee, sugar, etc. I would definitely stay again, especially because of the peach of mind with parking and safety.

Great stay with Kirk! The accommodation is clean, quiet and quite well located, 20/30 minutes from transportation. Kirk is a discreet, responsive and respectful host. Great for a tour of New York City while enjoying a peaceful neighborhood. Recommended!

Hastings is a sweet little town and the apartment is conveniently located near station and shops. It was good value for two bedrooms in the New York area. Place was clean with good light and character. I enjoyed climbing the hills and there were some steps to negotiate. There was some noise but nothing more than you would expect from a family living above.

This 2nd floor unit was located perfectly very close to the Avenue which is full of great spots to eat and also the train station for trips into the city. It's even better that it is on a quiet residential street- it felt private and absolutely perfect for a couple or a small family of 4. The space was beautiful, clean, and well appointed, with lots of light and air. Francesca was a great host, very responsive, and made us feel welcome and at home with great communication even before we checked in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Martha's house. The location is ideal: an easy walk to restaurants, shopping, and the train station. There is a parking spot in the rear driveway, which is a big advantage in Hastings. The apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped with all amenities, including 3 TVs and superfast Wi-Fi. Martha was also friendly and helpful. A perfect place to use as a base for Hastings and the surrounding area!

This was just what I needed for my first trip to Mohegan Lake! Quiet neighborhood. Cozy bed. Great water pressure. I’ll definitely be booking again if I come back to this cute little town.

Henry’s home was just as listed. It was worth what we paid for, a nice place in a good area. Henry was very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend booking with him.

My friend and I stayed for a short trip at Maria's location and it was exactly what we needed, a place to stay for our trip that was well kept, had amenities, and fresh linen available. Parking spot was small, but is to be expected in an attached parking garage.

Marcela was a fabulous host! She is very thoughtful and we had everything we needed. She also responds very quickly. The place was very clean and efficiently organized. It is a true gem. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Marcela!!!!

Centrally located, safe parking, everything was as advertised.

Our stay was flawless and pleasurable. The rooms were sleek, spotless and very quiet. All had independent temp controls and TV. The kitchen was airy and modern with stainless Viking appliances. All consumables, like coffee filters, were in ample supply. Beds were soft but supportive, with comfortable pillows sheets and quilts. On top of that, the location in the center of Greenwich at the heart of Greenwich Ave. was marvelous. Every evening we could wander down and explore the upscale shopping opportunities, then pick from dozens of excellent, interesting restaurants. Overall an excellent experience and highly worth it.

We arrived later afternoon and not sure of which door to go into, Joesph came out on his deck to welcome us and where to park. We talked a bit and then went into the apartment under his living quarters. The place was very clean and a lot of amenities were there with labels on everything which was nice. Bed was comfortable as well. We basically hung our hats there while we went out to do things; we didn't hang out there at all. We didn't cook but we could have. Plenty of supplies. Bathroom was nice with big shower. Only problem was the light in the bathroom is motion activated so....while in the shower, it doesn't detect you and will turn the lights off. You just stick out your hand it will turn back on. Nice place.

it was a great stay house was homey nice and clean quiet perfect for a weekend getaway or Any getaway easy to commute with lots of things to do in the area and downtown was festive for the time of year I will deff recommend this place

Dave's place was great. Dave is great host and Port Chester is a great little area.

Park out front and unload. Elevators to the right. Parking remote control by the TV (old rectangular box). Turn right out of the circle and take the first right. Go to the double aluminum garage doors to the right. Parking space is on 4th level and fits large SUV's. You don't need the remote to leave. Hope this helps.
