Safe and quiet neighborhood super close to West Point! The exterior is larger than the photo indicated.

Caroline's B&B, is very clean, well stocked, and very easy to get in and out of. The water pressure is great, and the place is very spacious. If you are staying at Caroline's place while in the city, some things to keep in mind. The mass transit situation leaves a bit to be desired. While there is the Metro North rail close (in context to the MTA subway stations), they have a much less regular schedule than the subways and are at minimum $9 fare per ride (one way). There are subway stops relatively close (4,5,6) within 3 miles, but the Uber fares to get to any one of them will cost anywhere from $21 - $26, each way. McLean ave and Kenotah Ave are great places, again relatively close, to grab drinks and pub fare, but also it costs ya for the ride to and from. My recommendation to combat the travel costs, plan your day accordingly so you when you return you are in and staying. The neighborhood is great, quiet, and peaceful.

Stayed here with my girlfriend and our dog while in the area for the McLean Ave parade - would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. Matched the description and photos. Clean, spacious, welcoming. Friendly and responsive hosts.

Having a current child / Cadet at West Point and also another child / graduate of West Point , we always make it a point to stay at different Airbnbs in small towns around the USMA on both sides of the Hudson River . Melanie ‘s place was wonderful. Plenty of rooms/ beds for our Parent Weekend visit. Peaceful and safe location , yet a short 20 minute drive to the Academy . We felt right at home and look forward to staying at Melanie’s place again . The house was very clean and we had no issues at all !! Thank you

Pete's house is spacious, really comfortable for our large family reuinion, especially accommadating for our 2 year old toddler. Pete is a great house, timely responses and very flexible on checkin. He ordered some house items immediately when needed, very resonsive. The location is great, nestled in a quiet neighborhood and 5 minutes from downtown nightlife and restaurants and train station for quick trips to NYC. Highly recommended, would stay again if we're back in the area.

Stan’s place was perfect for the trip. The place was clean, the location was convenient, and there was plenty of space. The extra amenities and friendliness of the host made us feel right at home. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful AirBnB with all the comforts of home, exceptionally clean, and nicely decorated and maintained. A little worried about this secret getting out because I want it to be available my next visit! Elizabeth was a pleasure to communicate with and very responsive.

Bobby’s place was great for my birthday weekend!! It felt right at home and more ❤️ The only thing I can complain about is that there are barley corner stores lol but that has nothing to do with how great of a host Bobby was, thank you! I hope to come visit again 🙂

This was my second time staying at MaryLee’s place and I hope to stay there again. Delightful in every way.

This home was everything we were looking for! We visited NYC for the first time, and having a quiet place to return to at the end of the day was so nice. Everything was spotless and tidy. If I ever return to NYC, I will absolutely book with Esperanza again! Parking was super easy to find on the street, the street is on a larger hill though, so be aware if you drive a manual! You will likely need to park a few doors down up the street. Thanks again!

This locations was central and easy to find. Street parking was great, there was many spots and I had no issues. Safe and quiet neighborhood. I came for a short weekend stay and I had no issues, would recommend for a quiet get away. I didn't stay in the airbnb much, as I was busy with other activities and came late. But I did feel safe there. It is downstairs with someone living above but I had no issue. The accommodation inside were great; tea, coffee, sugar, etc. I would definitely stay again, especially because of the peach of mind with parking and safety.

This is a great stay. Small and cozy. Its a great price for what you get. I highly recommend if you are in the area. Its exactly as described. Paul is great and is responsive to all our questions. Would stay here again.

Frank’s place was exactly what we needed, perfect for a weekend getaway. Quiet location, easy commute to and from the city, with great stores and shopping options nearby. The apartment itself is very well equipped. The desk, chair, and whiteboard are wonderful additions: perfect for anyone working remote! The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfy and we definitely enjoyed our stay. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer! Absolutely recommend 😊 Thanks Frank!

Hastings is a sweet little town and the apartment is conveniently located near station and shops. It was good value for two bedrooms in the New York area. Place was clean with good light and character. I enjoyed climbing the hills and there were some steps to negotiate. There was some noise but nothing more than you would expect from a family living above.

Super clean place with comfortable premium mattress. Location was perfect close to coffee shops and restaurants. We were there for an appearance on a tv show filming at lionsgate studios. Front door of the studio was less than a few hundred feet away!

We had a lovely Thanksgiving stay with our family. After a lengthy car trip with lots of traffic, we were so pleased to walk into a very welcoming space that was open, bright, and extremely comfortable. Additionally it was clearly well appointed and very clean. To top it off, there was a marvelous carrot cake left by Andrea for our enjoyment. When an issue came up, Andrea and Dennis responded promptly and quickly resolved the problem. We all very much enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return again at a later date.

This was the perfect stay. I felt at home and the grounds are beautiful. The location is a perfect getaway but close to a lovely small town. The owners are great, kind, and so thoughtful. I appreciate them and everything they've done to make my stay better. It was a last minute holiday getaway and I'm so grateful they saved the day. Thank you so much! This was a lovely home. Very easy getting inside. Everything was exactly as listed, pictured and described. We felt so cozy and welcomed by Susan. The house had everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and convenient and was very clean. I had a few questions during our visit and Susan was extremely responsive and so kind. I highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were very nice and had great water pressure and nice hot water. We truly felt at home and we're beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this home for anyone need of an Airbnb in the area. Lovely home and property.

We spent six great weeks at Fabien and Christy's cottage while relocating to the area. We loved everything about our time there including the very comfortable bed and furniture and the well stocked kitchen. We were there during a very cold stretch and the house stayed warm and cozy. The wood burning stove was a fun treat on cold snowy days. Fabien and Christy were wonderful hosts making sure we had everything we needed and helped with information about the area. We spent a lot of time exploring the beautiful property with our dog. It's a very peaceful spot and still only a short drive to many towns with lots of great restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend Fabien and Christy's cottage to anyone looking for a short or long stay in the area.

My party was in town for work, and ended up dealing with a nightmare of a host halfway through our stay. We needed a new location on short notice, which led to Lisa showing us what it looks like to go above and beyond for their guests. She accepted my request and communicated the check in process all at the late hour of 1am, as we were being unjustly evicted by the nightmare host Helen at Pound Ridge. The following morning around 7am, she proceeded to assist us with checking in and getting settled. The entire process was a 6 hour turnaround overnight from booking to check in, in which she was vigilantly working to make our transition comfortable. Lisa also offered to have the house dusted before we arrive, which was unnecessary because the house is spotless and stocked with hygiene amenities. Everything inside the home was staged properly to the point where we barely had to reach out for assistance. Lisa deserved all the praise.. it’s worth paying extra for hosts with high praise.

We had a wonderful time at Deirdre’s place which was a last minute booking. She was very responsive and we felt so much at home, with everything we needed to keep our family of 5 safe and occupied. We especially loved the playroom and books for all ages. The backyard tire swing and bird watching was a hit with my bigger kids too. There was lots of space to spread out if we had come with more family as well. Great stay- thank you again, Deirdre!

This AirBnB experience was wonderful! The home was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Everything from the homey decor to the modern updated kitchen and bathroom was more than I expected. The host provided everything we needed and then some. The extras were such a nice touch! I highly recommend this home and the host, Hilda! She was very responsive and very friendly. I would book this home again in a heartbeat!
