House vacation rentals in West Hartford

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

Jason is a great host. My family and I enjoyed our time at this beautiful spot. The house is newly renovated and the layout is quite spacious. The location is fantastic for getting to downtown Hartford and Storrs CT (20 min to either) with quick and easy access to I 84 and 384. Jason gave good recommendations for restaurants and things to do near by. Visiting in winter time meant the neighborhood was particularly quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the lake itself was walkable due to the cold weather. Really the only trouble we had was the lowest floor is off limits which we completely respected, but it is somewhat challenging accessing the hot tub (lower deck) during the winter season as the upper deck steps were completely iced over and the yard has a substantial angle of decent and we had to gear up and tread carefully around the house each time we wanted to use it. This would of course be a non issue any other season. We would certainly consider visiting again.

absolutely incredible. The breathtaking view was the perfect backdrop for a truly romantic and relaxing experience. It felt like a peaceful escape, with everything designed for comfort and tranquility. The atmosphere was so soothing, making it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment. A truly unforgettable getaway!

This place is outstanding. The house is quaint, clean, and accommodating. Jason/Ed were always prompt in communication whenever we had questions. Amazing place to stay!

Johanna is a great host and the views from the house are not oversold. She is a great communicator and I'd recommend her house to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Berkshires. I hope to be back again next year!

Beautiful home. Super cozy and nice. Back porch was beautiful. House is on a main road so be aware of that. It is an amazing home and we had a nice stay.

My friend and I spent the weekend in Deb and John's home to have a girls weekend while she was visiting CT. We loved the house and all it had to offer. We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing all the animals near the brewery, and a dip in the hot tub at night. We enjoyed it so much, I booked a weekend for my husband and I to come back in the fall to check out the mountain biking trails!

From the moment we walked into Gary's house, we felt the good vibes. Its a very happy place! Warm and cozy feeling, with lots of bright sunshine pouring in during the day. The living room was so comfy, the kitchen spotless and very large. The game room in the basement was a blast, and we were surprised at how warm and cozy it was for a basement room. A wonderful home to rent if you have younger kids, there are lots of books and toys and games in the house. The beds are super comfortable, with lots of pillows, blankets and towels on hand. Gary was incredibly helpful and communicative with a couple of minor snafus we encountered during our stay, and we truly appreciated the clear instructions left for us in the house. The water pressure in the house is low, we all wished that had been a bit better. But otherwise, this was a great house and we fully recommend this for a winter rental - the proximity to Butternut Ski Area cannot be beat!

Chris was a fantastic host! First of all he was so responsive, always checking in on us everyday, and very helpful and communicative with recommendations and quick answers. Second of all, the property. It is so gorgeous. Definitely worth the price, and maybe even better! We loved our stay, we will definitely be coming back soon. Definitely check it out if you’re considering an Airbnb in the area. 10/10 experience!

What an incredible host and location. You know it is an amazing vacation when your 17 year old says he wants to go back and he loved the time with family. We brought our two dogs and it was a perfectly, peaceful get away. Loved the house, especially the yard and game room. Will stay again, definitely.

This was our third time staying at Nancy's place. Everything was great as usual and the little extras like eggs, milk, butter and a few snacks were much appreciated. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are soft and warm. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is as well and I appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. The location is beautiful and safe. We were in Springfield for a trade expo at the Big E and the location was perfect and convenient.

Niki and Adam’s place was wonderful! Space for everyone, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Communication responses were quick and clear. All 3 generations of my family thoroughly enjoyed their home and its surroundings. Highly recommend!

One of the best AirBnB homes I've ever stayed in. Beautifully and creatively appointed. We felt right at home. Great resources for local activities and dining. Great selection of books to read. Chip was thoughtful and communicative. The kitchen had equipment that made it possible to cook! That's a real rarity. The number on the house is a little difficult to see on busy Route 44. Other than that, a 10+ out of 10. We're going back for sure.

This air bnb was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Really great for a few guests. The pictures do not give justice about how pretty the old New England home was. We felt like we were transported to 1935. We also really liked the pellet stove. The house has a really nice half circle drive way. Host was very responsive and flexible with the request. Clean, affordable, and easy. Loved it. Definitely recommend

Fantastic home for our family. The basement was great for my two boys (4 and 5 years old) and they were able to play with all the toys.

Our 2nd stay at Elizabeth’s house and it was as nice as our last visit. Our kids love exploring the home and property which has a wonderful view. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking. We especially enjoyed the stone fireplace to relax after skiing. Would highly recommend!

Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and hope to return. It is perfect for our family of ten. Six adults and four children. There is something for everyone. There are outdoor activities and indoor activities. The children's books were upgraded this year and a big hit. The pool is delightful and Tyson was proactive in making sure the temperature was right. The house is clean. It has everything you need with no added clutter. Anne was generous in allowing us to stay a bit later when checking out and we appreciated it.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We took the house for a family getaway, and it far beyond surpassed our expectations. From the cleanliness of the home, to the beauty and utility of the pool. There was an abundance of all things you can expect to find in a home, e.g. the bathrooms were stocked with an abundance of name brand shampoos and soaps. We enjoyed the beautiful coastline that was in close proximity to house. And we spent hours at the pool on a daily basis, it was very private. Cindy was responsive to our every need and query. She even came by a couple of times to help us out with some issues, she went beyond her call of duty. All this she did graciously, as if it’s not even a bother. She is a true super host.

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

This home was amazing! It was the perfect retreat for our group of 12. Check-in was easy and the place looked exactly like the Bnb posting. Stephen is a great host and provided all the instruction necessary for our fun weekend. The home was the right size for us, having enough rooms and beds, as well as a stocked kitchen and dining area to enjoy. The pool was the best amenity and everyone appreciated the warm temperature control. I definitely recommend this place to any group that is looking for a secluded getaway.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the house. The house is beautiful and was extremely clean when we arrived. Luiz kindly left a sled for my kids to use in the yard. There is plenty of outdoor space and the yard has a good deal of privacy. There are two bedrooms and a den/office with a TV. The kitchen has everything we needed. Luiz was very easy to communicate with.
