Vacation rentals with a fireplace in West Des Moines

We had a wonderful week long stay to spend Thanksgiving with our college aged daughter whose work schedule didn't allow foe her to travel home. The Daly house was conveniently located and served our needs well.

Deb and Mark have a lovely home and were great hosts. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We appreciated the book with recommendations for the area. Deb and Mark were responsive to our questions and made us feel very welcome. A great stay!

Thank you so much for an awesome stay! We'll definitely stay here again. The large fenced in backyard was a bonus for sure. Our little dogs loved being able to run around free without their leash.

Great place to stay. Super convenient to Drake and downtown Des Moines. We liked that there were grocery stores really close too. Hosts were great and we appreciated their flexibility. Cute place with a little character.

Honestly, I can’t imagine a better experience. Absolutely perfect for what we needed. Only wish our trip was longer to enjoy more of what “Harriet” had to offer. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Timberpine Lodge was just the escape we were looking for. The lodge is beautiful inside and out. The kitchen is stunning and very well appointed. The counters and island give more than enough prep and service space. The appliances are top notch. We enjoyed having enough space to gather to eat and play games. The lodge and land also provided areas to have private moments too. The hot tub was very clean and larger than expected. We took advantage of the group seating around the fire pit. The bird watching was fascinating from the screened porch. We connected with nature and each other. Thank you Timberpine Lodge. We will be back.

Great place to stay while in DesMoines. Carl is a 5⭐️host and was extremely responsive. House is a super cool space- very welcoming and comfortable. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Private patio is fantastic… there is also a very large shared yard and gazebo. Neighborhood felt very safe- walked during the day and evening. About 6-10minute drive to downtown. Tons of on street parking. Would highly recommend choosing this property

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was great for two people. It was clean and quiet and nicely decorated.

This place was awesome! The view of the courthouse was stunning, there were great bars and restaurants around, it was super easy to get around, easy to find, and check in and checkout couldn’t have been easier. The place was very clean and fully equipped with everything I could possibly need. Jesse was fantastic and immediately responsive, gave great recommendations, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Absolutely loved my stay and will definitely book again next time I’m in town. I strongly recommend staying here!

Enjoyed our stay at Tammy’s. Comfortable unit. Friendly residents in complex. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to community park and close to everything we needed.
