Eastbourne Waterfront Cottage

Kate’s cottage was the perfect location for our family while we were visiting relatives in the area. Lots of afternoons spent having a cold beverage on the front deck overlooking the water. We had two little people with us and the house was very well-suited. A great backyard with fresh produce and natures playground (the beach) only 3 steps from the front porch. We will be back.

Liem and Selena are great hosts - very responsive, friendly, and always available if you need anything. The place is spacious, cozy and comfortable, with everything necessary, you instantly feel like home. There’s also an amazing, quiet garden, perfect for enjoying breakfast! And if it’s rainy there’s a nice sunroom to enjoy the garden view! I genuinely enjoyed staying there and would definitely recommend it:)

As a Wellington resident for 14 years who booked it for his parents while they were travelling I can't recommend this enough. I have the loveliest stay here. The place was perfect, it was such a bonus being just across the road from the marine reserve. I went for multiple snorkels (seeing nudibranchs, brittlestars and wandering anemone) and it was wonderful to be able to pop back across the road into a (great quality) hot shower immediately after. It was very easy to get into the city from here too, both by car and public transport. Linda incredibly helpful and friendly and I can’t thank her enough. Will definitely be checking the availability of this property next time I’m in Wellington!

Annie has one of the best spaces to share that I have ever stayed in. The completely tranquil location overlooking a stunning view made me feel so at home that I was trying not to cry when checking out! Great blend of quirky and rustic, Annie also keeps the space in top notch condition. Hearing the gulls and the waves while falling asleep, waking up to the sounds of the birds in the canopy above has been beyond amazing. Annie was the most welcoming host and gave us wonderful local knowledge and loved letting us go off and adventure around Wellington. 11/10 will stay again when I come back.

Island Bay Stylish Villa

Craig and Kylie were excellent hosts, and their home was a wonderful place for our family of four to enjoy for a couple weeks. The location was peaceful yet everything we needed was within walking distance (grocery, cafes, library, park, beach, shops, and more). The beds and lounge areas were very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Our favorite part about the house was the giant sliding glass wall that opens up completely to the backyard!
