A peaceful, rustic setting in a historic town. Sleeps 1 - 4 guest. 15 mins from Harrisonburg, JMU and I-81! It is located close to popular tourist sites. The drive has beautiful views year around! It is a nice area for a walk or run. Located within walking distance of a country store, a church, and a Community Center - which can be rented out for events. We are only 15-20 mins from I-81. If you are looking for a place to rest to break up a long trip, this would be a nice place to stay!

Kelly’s place was clean, just as described and exactly what we needed for an overnight stay. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Super cute back patio with rocking chairs. So many fun games and amenities inside. The bar was also a nice touch. Very accommodating of our timeframe for check in and check out as well. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

We stayed at the guest house while in Charlottesville for a wedding and had a lovely stay! The home is beautiful and conveniently located. The hosts were thoughtful and kind and reached out to me a few days in advance to welcome me and see if I had any questions. They accommodated an early check in for our group which was extremely helpful. They even stocked the refridgerator with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, cinnamon buns and orange juice for us! I would recommend this home for your stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s cabin. The space was clean and comfortable, and the views of the surrounding property were beautiful. Sarah went out of her way to make us feel both welcome and at home. In fact, she left us breakfast supplies, including fresh eggs and homemade muffins! (She even left us supples to make s’mores!) The location was super convenient for us to visit the Virginia Safari Park and the Natural Bridge State Park as well.

We had a great stay at Kelly's Farm. We arrived on Easter Sunday and she had made an amazing supper for her family that we also got to enjoy: a greek inspired lamb kabob feast. We spent a beautiful day enjoying the weather and exploring the farm grounds. We will definitely stay again if we come back into the area. The following day we had a delicious breakfast and went on our way. A perfect stop and great experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

I was looking for a place to relax and reset. I found the perfect place. First, the view and surrounding area is just picturesque. Second, Donna and her Husband are just the friendly and sweetest couple. They were responsive, communicative, and helpful for me. I had everything I needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Third, there place always had something to do in the surrounding area: Shenandoah and Harriosburg. There is also the town of broadway. There place also provides comfort for home body. You can walk the trial, bird watch, grill, fire up the fire pit, or make a home cooked meal. You can also relax in the hammock or sit on the porch and enjoy nature. Bring a good book and immerse yourself. The apartment was clean and spacious.

Mary Jane was a wonderful host. I had some guests coming in on late notice. So I contacted Mary Jane with just over 24 hour notice. No problem. Mary Jane was flexible and took care of everything. Very friendly and welcoming. She cooked a wonderful breakfast for my guests. My guests had a wonderful night sleep and stay. I could not recommend Mary Jane more!

Kelly was responsive to my messages when I booked my visit until the last day we were there. Their home is located in a beautiful area if you need to just get away from the city. There’s plenty to do from skiing to visiting the Monticello or Blue Ridge Tunnel. I enjoyed a few distilleries on the day it rained. Mark made delicious breakfasts the two days we visited. He was very hospitable. Will definitely return!
