Vacation rentals with an accessible height bed in Watauga County

I enjoyed staying at the Sugar Mountain location. Close to the slopes for skiing and conveniently located to stores and restaurants. I strongly recommend having chains for your car, as the roads can get quite icy getting around during the winter.

Excellent mountain sunrise views. Directly overlooks sugar ski slopes, so fun to watch the skiers day and night.

Charming town with an amazing antique festival that was same weekend we visited. Town folks were so nice, the apartment was just above all the local shops which made for a weekend without driving. Apartment was extremely comfortable and clean, host also very responsive. Highly recommend this listing!

This place is beautiful and updated and the location right on the slopes is perfect. Only downside is that the master bed mattress is a very thin old worn out one.

Exceeded expectations, legit ski-in/ski-out location. Literally a 1 minute walk from the door to the slopes. Insane views and lovely place, overall. Would definitely come back!

After having an issue with another AirBnB, Tim was able to accommodate us on very short notice (same day) for a long weekend stay. He was very helpful getting us into the property quickly and even had the heat turned on for us when we arrived. The property itself is fantastic, great views, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, and plenty of games/amenities. We had a great ski weekend! We look forward to visiting again.

Overalll, nice stay. Some dishes were not properly cleaned. Bed was not particularly comfortable, but location and overall cleanliness was acceptable. The 10 digit security code for the door lock, is very inconvenient. I'm sure 4 or 5 digit random number would work as welll.

Perfect cabin for our group. Clean and super close to Sugar mountain. We walked to the lodge to ski.

My family and I were please and enjoyed staying at this location. Everything was was super clean and the staff and residents were all nice and welcoming. We will definitely be staying here again.

The place is located in a safe and nearby neighborhood. The duplex is on the second floor with easy access to the road, just a flight of stairs. The place is great for hosting a large group. Fully equipped. We recommend Beech Town or Banner Elk to walk around with great restaurants and spots. The place was ideal for our family vacation.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as we remembered. Very cozy, quiet, and incredible views!

Place was clean and everything worked. It is a beautiful location. The only problem is that we didn’t have enough time to stay longer. Within view of the resort is a bonus too.

Amazing stay near Sugar Mountain! There is a path at the end of the road where you can walk and have ski-in access (can be found if you look on maps in satellite mode). We rented multi day skis and skied in and out. The VIEWS from this location were our favorite part!! Just fyi if you are traveling during winter months and there has just been snow then you definitely need AWD. The roads were very clear for us and we made it easy with front wheel drive because there hadn’t been significant recent snow. Overall, this is a great stay for skiing at Sugar Mountain or a trip to the mountains in the summer! We will definitely be back! Thank you :)
