I needed a home away from home to base my cooking & baking help for Hurricane Helene recovery, and this cozy little cabin was just perfect. The setting and drive was beautiful, the neighborhood doggies were friendly, and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. My family joined me for the last few days of my nearly month-long stay, so it was tight for all of us, but definitely do-able. I appreciated the quick communication on my questions, and proactive care with an incoming winter storm. Would definitely stay again!

Had an absolute blast! Very peaceful and super clean. Loved the decoration theme. They went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more grateful as we will most definitely be back.

I stayed here with my family of 4 and our dog. We absolutely loved the cabin! The location and aesthetic of it was exactly everything we were looking for. Arion & Wendy we’re very accommodating and responded back in a timely manner. The cabin is just how it looks! It’s a nice getaway from the city! We’d love to come here again for sure!

Walter’s place is amazing. Small cabin tiny home right in the mountains. Awesome waterfall within walking/hiking distance. We gots a lot of snow as well and it made the trip. House is off the beaten path which we loved. Use the pin they give you and it will bring you right to the house. 4 wheel drive is def a good recommendation. We will def stay here again when we come back to the area!! Everything we needed.

Wonderful as always! We've stayed here multiple times because it is perfect for a quiet getaway in the mountains. If you're looking for solitude in a cabin surrounded by nature, this is it. We usually visit West Jefferson, Lansing, or Grayson Highlands while we're there. Our dogs love it too.

I chose this cabin specifically to celebrate my mother’s birthday, just one week to the day before the WNC floods. She was just awe struck the whole weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Nestled beside a tranquil brook, this cozy cabin is the perfect retreat for those looking to unplug and unwind… or use as a home base as you see all the sights around it! Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a serene escape with the soothing sound of running water that beckons you to relax. It has two patios overlooking the beautiful river below so you can sit and enjoy. The cabin's rustic charm is complemented by modern amenities, making it a seamless blend of comfort and nature. This hidden gem is a sanctuary of peace! The only con I can imagine is the master bathroom is very petite, but there is a second, larger bathroom.

Had a lovely and relaxing stay here. The location was convenient and the environment was beautiful! The place was very clean and cozy. I have already planned my second trip here. I’d highly recommend staying here!

Loved our stay in Blowing Rock, conveniently located to downtown and Boone. The house was adorable and very cozy! Great views of the mountains and a special place to bring in the New Year!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The interior was beautifully designed and created such a cozy atmosphere. The hot tub and fireplaces were the perfect touches, making it an ideal spot to relax and unwind, which we did. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and private getaway! Just don’t book when we plan to come back! lol 😅

It was a nice place for a weekend getaway. There was plenty to do with the sauna and hot tub. It is also only 15 minutes from downtown Boone. Nicole was great and make sure we knew all the information about the weather so we didn’t get stuck. We will book this place again.

Overall, a cozy warm cabin with decor that felt welcoming and comfortable. Bed was comfortable-a major issue for us. Everything was super clean A couple of issues, but Robert and Janelle responded quickly and did their best to help. Perfect for a couple. Deer ran through the yard.😊 Even with the snow, the heaters worked well and were easy to control.

After settling home from our trip to sugar grove NC it is time to write a review. Our stay on the property was outstanding! It is the perfect remote location to relax and unwind whether you’re traveling solo, as a family or a couple. Our stay in the airstream was top notch with an immaculate view of the stars from the hot tub every night and plenty to do on the property during the day. We loved looking at the art throughout the woods and going on walks during the day and at dusk. As two childless adults we had a blast on the water slide and feeding the animals, as well as visiting the town of Boone for shopping and “trashcan falls” right up the road. The only pointer id give to the next guest is to bring a few tupperware containers if you decide to cook so that you can save what is leftover. Other than that the airstream was equipped with everything we needed and then some! I will highly recommend a stay on magic mountain and look forward to visiting again.

First and foremost, the host responded promptly to all of my inquiries before and during rental dates! The rental, itself, is a whole lot of extras in a little bit of space! Absolutely perfect for a Christmas getaway for me and my husband. It is all that the description states and the pictures portray. As noted, the driveway can be tricky, but presented no issue for us considering that my husband has a 4x4 and a great wife that stands in the cold and directs him (haha). Also, if the second bedroom is needed, the stairs are narrow and steep; yet manageable! Overall, it’s in a great location! It’s close to many things but private enough to not realize it!

This was the PERFECT little spot for our family to stay for our recent trip. Our 13 and 8 year old boys loved their loft area and we personally appreciated that even in a tiny home, we had privacy in the bedroom and bathroom. There were plenty of "comforts of home" like board games, chargers, and even detergent to wash clothes. This was truly the cleanest AirBNB we have EVER stayed in and the sheets smelled really good! The ONLY "downside" was that the property is right off a main road so there is definitely road noise, however that was disclosed in the listing and there were sound machines in every single room so it didn't bother us! Will definitely stay again!

My family has a great weekend at pie in the sky. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and linens. Kitchen was stocked with more than your average rental property. We will be back for our next mountain getaway. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Divine tree house! Everything you need for a glamping experience.

We loved staying at The Birdhouse! From the gorgeous mountaintop views to the beautiful design choices, the space felt both cozy and luxurious all at once. This is a “pinch me, I’m dreaming” kind of Airbnb. Mandy was friendly and communicative, and she even left some snacks and drinks for us upon arrival. There is a guest guide with clear checkout instructions and local recommendations curated by guest persona. You can tell that a lot of time and attention went into designing this home and experience.

Beautiful space. Form meets function in tiny living such as this. Beautiful colors, natural light and discreet design elements. Clean and new, this was a great place to get away, relax and reflect. We especially loved the hot tub in 17-degree weather at night. And Diane. Wow, what a host. The sweetest and most responsive. Hope to get back next year.

We loved it! Bed was super comfortable. Barely heard the neighbors, just normal steps like most apartments. Convenient location. Overall, we enjoyed it and would stay again.

Wonderful stay in Boone, NC! The property was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making our visit stress-free. The location was perfect! We especially loved the mountain view from the deck. We got extremely lucky and got some snow, it was beautiful! It felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay here again!

We decided to take a weekend ski trip with a major snowstorm in the forecast. After a long drive we arrived at Jennifer’s place later than anticipated but her cabin shone in the freshly laid snow like a beacon of warmth. Entry was simple and the keypad worked as advertised. The cabin is smartly arranged and includes everything one would need to cozy up and prepare for hitting the slopes. Beech Mountain ski resort is literally 2 minutes from the house which saved us a ton of time getting on the hill. We can’t say enough good things about this property and Jennifer was an excellent communicator and host. We would love to come stay again and will be recommending this cabin to all our friends and family. Thanks again Jennifer!

This tiny home was perfect for our family of three. It was quirky and cozy all at once. It's on the out skirts of town so very quiet. The access is through a storage facility, so it would be easy to miss BUT Shelley provided ample instructions/photos beforehand. So we had no problems finding it. We would definitely stay here again!

Quite Lovely & Charming 💞! Our stay at Misty Mountain Cabin was simply amazing! The cabin was impeccably clean and immaculately decorated with a cozy and charming flair. The cabin was exactly as described and pictured, if not better. The perfect mountain cabin for a fairytale winter vacation ! Did I mention how well- appointed the cabin is and its convenient location. Secluded enough to unwind and disconnect, yet a short drive from my favorite town in the slopes, Blowing Rock. I love the fact that my pups were welcomed and they absolutely loved this cabin and the scenic views of the blue ridge mountains. Absolutely stunning and breathtaking views from the living room. Our host, Wendy, is a wonderful person to reach out to if you need to do so. I did reach out to her to extend my stay and she promptly granted my request. Everything from cabin’s layout, charming decor, and cleanliness to the amazing location made for a vacation we will remember forever. Will definitely visit again!
