Vacation rentals with a sauna in Watauga County

Enjoyed our stay! It was great to be within walking distance to the sledding hill and playground for our kids, they also loved the amenities. Condo was clean and cute, happy there were extra blankets for the kids. Only reccomendation would be for a little larger rug at the front door to help catch water off of wet shoes, and the beds were SUPER firm, which isn't our preferred type, but doesn't take away from our 5 star review. Overall highly reccomend, we had a wonderful weekend stay!

The condo was perfect for skiing at Beech Mountain. Easy drive to and from. The condo offered a cozy feel that made the snowy days just right. Perfect for our winter break!

The instructions given by the host were clear and helpful. The staff at sugar mountain were also super friendly and helpful. I was sooooo glad we got to park at the building and didn’t have to mess with catching a shuttle and all :) so as the helpful notes the hosts sent says, it’s worth asking if you can park behind the building. The place was just as described. Really appreciated the standing fan that was provided. I also LOVED that they provided pool towels, most places don’t do that and that was such a blessing with little ones who love the pool. We also thought the bed was comfy. We hope to come back!

I highly recommend the stay here at this specific room. We had a perfect view of the mountain. Easy access to the pool and hot tub. Our host was so helpful and very clear with instructions. My family has an amazing experience!

Very attentive host and even though I made the reservation at the last minute when I arrived my car was already registered at the security guardhouse and the apartment was impeccable and has a unique view of Sugar Mountain!

Unfortunately the pool and Jacuzzi was out of service due to them doing renovations but that was ok and we understood, stuff like that has to happen from time to time. This was the first time we have stayed at this Sugar Top location and with Michelle as host and i sincerely hope to stay again! Michelle was a great communicator and very patient with all my questions. The unit was lovey, updated, comfortable, and welcoming. The beds were COMFY! There were lots of extra blankets and pillows, which was so nice to have. The space was perfect for our little family! The staff at the property were all so friendly and helpful. We genuinely felt welcomed from beginning of our stay until we checked out. 10 out of 10 recommend Michelle and her property!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay near the slopes!! This was the perfect house for us and our 4 legged friend, we will absolutely be looking to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Beech Retreat!! It was located very close to the ski resort (2-3 min drive), the surrounding mountain areas were beautiful, and the home itself was very cozy and well furnished. We loved using the hot tub, cozying up near the fireplaces, and waking up to deers at the front door :). Next time we make a trip to Beech Mtn, we would love to stay here again!

Stayed here with some family and friends for a long weekend. Absolutely loved every second of this rental. Everyone kept bragging about the views and how there was enough room for everyone. Already prospecting staying here again next winter.

John's place was exactly what we needed to enjoy our family vacation. Easy on/off ski-in/ski-out experience with easy parking and quiet environment. I would recommend this place for any type of stay.

An absolutely incredible stay! We came to Sara’s listing for a birthday celebration, looking for a peaceful and wholesome weekend. I could not have been more pleased with the house, everything was beautiful, clean, private. The view is incredible and the house gets beautiful light through the day as the sun travels across the big open windows. The exposed wood is so beautiful and there are plants and modern art around the house that add to the luxury feel. The sauna and hot tub are great, with easy instructions and Everything was well kept. I’d definitely suggest this Airbnb to anyone looking for a beautiful mountain weekend. Would definitely come back if ever the chance arises! Thank you, Sara!

The views alone are enough reason to book a stay! Easy ski in and out for our family, youngest being 8. Just know going in that this is at the top of the mountain and plan accordingly if going in the Winter Season. Host Chuck is very responsive and helpful with any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend for anyone looking for amazing mountain views and a ski in and out home.
