Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Watamu Beach

I really enjoyed my stay at Gianni's place! It is located in a very good area in Watamu and close to everything. I also loved the fact that it is so private. The house itself is also very nice. The kitchen supplies are maybe a bit basic without a kettle/toaster. But nothing to be worried about. Every night there is a night guard, which gave me a safe feeling. Although he doesn't speak English which sometimes caused some language barriers. The owner Gianni was always very responsive and easy to communicate with! Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bahati and Marina's place. We were warmly welcomed by Marina and she gave us all important information for our stay as well as local recommendations. Although communication was somewhat difficult due to our language barrier we were able to communicate all necessary information and she let us stay longer than the indicated checkout time. The Apartment is located in walking distance from the beach and a number of fantastic restaurants and restorts. The owners also owned a convenient Italian restaurant right next to the apartment. Watamu offers a lot of activities and festivities, so there was never boring or dull moment during our stay.

We stayed at Katie's place for 10 days in November 2024. It is a beautiful house in the Mida Forest area, very close to the Mida Creek, Lichthaus, Palm Gardens, Kobe and Pilipan. Two rooms with Airco, one without. Swimming pool is small, but it served its purpose. House has a nice veranda area where we spend a good amount of time. The only weird thing about the house is the location of the kitchen, you need to go through one of the bedrooms or walk around the house to get there. The staff were really excellent - the place was always clean and organized, yet staff were never intrusive. Moreover, they were very kind and helpful. Katies communication was also really good. Instructions on how to get there were clear and Katie checked in several times to see if everything was ok. Also, we made a last-minute change and shortened our stay, which was not a problem. Overall, great stay and I would come back here again.

Jonjoloka was a wonderful place to stay for three generations of our family. Paul and Evan’s were incredibly helpful. The meals were delicious. Easy to get into town via tuk tuk or bike or walk to the beach. Emilie was super prompt with any query we had. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Korosho house. We enjoyed playing the board games and the games in the gym area as well. Very beautiful property.

This is our 5th visit to The Beach House. We keep coming back for a bunch of reasons. Rehema, Ali and the rest of the staff are the best. The location right on the water with perfect views is unbeatable. Communication with Rory is consistently great. The top porch is some of my favorite square footage on the planet. And … have I mentioned how terrific Rehema is?

What a magical place! Everything about our time at Nyumba Ya Madau was wonderful. The staff were all excellent, and the food was outstanding. It was perfect for a very special family holiday. We hope to return soon! Thank you

We had a wonderful stay with two families. The kids loved the pool, the beach and the fantastic breakfast provided bij cook Samuel. He made pancakes every morning, what a treat! Moses and Dixon took very well care of us. After breakfast the beds were made, the rooms clean and the laundry clean and neatly folded on the desk. As a mom of five kids, that was an enormous treat! Lunch and diner were delicious too. What a luxury to come back to the house after a great time at the beach and find the table all set for a lovely meal. We went out for diner once at a great Libanese restaurant in Watamu. Great food, we can highly recommend it. And besides a great taste in food, the owner had a good taste in music too. Love that Baraka House is build in the local style. Adds a great charme to the whole experience. We would recommend this house and the area and would love to come back some day.

The White House is a stunning place to stay. An amazing location, lovely pool, walking distance to the most amazing beach. Close to the tuk tuks and bikes to get into town. The staff are amazing and chef Elias is a great chef…. Delicious meals every time. I would recommend to anyone.

Bahati Beach House was amazing. Our family had a wonderful stay. The staff is made up of amazing guys that so helpful and friendly. The food was incredible. the beach is quiet and peaceful with really great snorkeling available. there is a marine preserve directly or from the house with guides to help ensure you see great fish and coral. Just be prepared to pay the conservancy group to snorkel inside the preserve. We highly recommend staying here!

Amazing boutique hotel villa with fantastic food, pool and cocktails. The place definitely beat my expectations and would like to stay there next time I’m vacationing in Watamu.

I had a wounderful stay at Gianluca’s listing he is very responsive and gave us great recommendations. The house is beautiful and looks better than the photos. The staff is very friendly and accomodated all our needs.

Lovely place. Very well maintained and clean. Great pool. Amazing location near beach and local shops. Delicious food cooked by Bui. We had a great stay as a family. If I come back to Watamu I will stay here. Recommend.

Rispa is such a good host. Her staff are also such lovely people. Paul gave us directions to the place and took care of us while we were there. Emmanuel, the chef, and the cleaning lady were also lovely. The place is truly the white villa. It is so clean and spacious. It is private, and Paul also helped us organise logistics wherever we decided to move. 10/10 would recommend.

Cool place, if you are 4 it's cheap. mostly Nathan and Haley are responding quickly and were super helpful getting us bus tickets, arranging special pickup at Watamu by bus from Mombasa and were very communicative. definitely recommend to stay again.
