5 stars accommodation - from the helpfulness and friendliness of the hosts, clear instructions in how to arrive and how to put the heating/waste, beautiful locations and cosy and warm hut. We loved our time there and quite frankly would love to book again to see the beautiful surroundings in another season. Highly recommended, truly a peaceful spot!

A huge thank you to both Mel and Tim for their hospitality! The Old Forge immediately felt like a cosy home away from home giving you the feeling of excitement and ease knowing that your getaway will definitely hold many special memories. Having the option to use the underfloor heating as well as the big fireplace really helped stay comfortable when it was cold outside. We loved having the rolling hills just outside our doorstep and watching the birds interact in the trees through the bedroom sky light. Mel and Tim were incredibly responsive and helpful even when we needed support with anything. Would definitely recommend to anyone and the reviews were right - the place is even nicer than the pictures show. Hope to be back soon!

We stayed at Andreas place as a way of getting out of the city for a few days and away from the noise and speed of city life. We were not disappointed , the location is remote and incredibly peaceful despite being on a main road. We had a smooth and easy move in and Andrea sent detailed instructions on the process. There was also a very helpful booklet with do’s, don’ts and useful info. The place was clean and tidy and well set out. We weren’t under each others feet constantly and had everything we needed for our stay. The place was warm and cosy with comfy seats and blankets. We have zero complaints, though for any would be streamers it’s better to download films and shows to devices pre-arrival as the Wi-Fi did drop out a few times.

Lovely stylish apartment Everything was spotless, it was a home from home, with lovely extra touches of books, games and ornaments Really comfortable bed, big fluffy towels. Going that extra mile with fresh local produce waiting for you on arrival was a perfect touch. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it and stay again.
