Cosy, comfortable accommodation with a shared kitchen, with sea views. Leonie checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and also gave us useful information of the place, areas of interest, where to eat etc which was great. A great place to rest and relax and be in harmony with nature. Thank you😊

We loved our stay here. Very warm welcome and Rachel borrowed us an umbrella, because it was raining so much. Big and comfy bed and we felt immediately at home. The cookies were delicious. 12/10 would recommend ⭐️

Beautiful historic home and gardens in a wonderful location managed by terrific hosts. Centrewood is really something very special. Out of the way in a rural landscape overlooking the ocean. There is a lovely walk to the beach through a reserve nearby. The beach is not suitable for swimming but it is really beautiful. If you're lucky you might spot a penguin or sea lion. The homestead is over 150 years old and is very well maintained. If you like homes with character, you won't be disappointed. It is a bit of the beaten track on a gravel road and there are no neighbours. It's very peaceful if you like being away from the crowds and lights. Dave and Jane are lovely host and they have made the most beautiful garden with tennis court that guests are welcome to enjoy. We would love to return.

Great place with amazing view, one thing to note is the wall is a bit thin and if neighbor talk loudly will be slightly disturbing for those unable to fall asleep easily.

My husband and I were just stopping through Lake Tekapo for one night and this was really the perfect place to stay. The washing machine helped tremendously since we were already 6 days into our road trip. The bed was super comfortable, everything was super clean, and the view of the lake is wonderful.

Stunning lake view – we loved sitting outside our room and relaxing. The neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful. The host provided clear instructions, and communication was easy and pleasant.

We had a great stay in Rowena's place. Everything we need is provided. The room is so neat and spacious. She gave us another set of fresh towels on our second day. It was close to the restaurants, dairy, and Omarama hot tub. My husband and I were quite impressed and happy with our stay. Also, she has a folder of all the important info such as restaurants/stores within the area, local tourist spots we can visit, and activities we can try on. We highly recommend her place for those visiting Omarama and nearby places. Thank you Rowena, we felt at home! ☺️❤️
