Eve's place is a delightful cottage, designed beautifully and truly feels like a home away from home. Check in was extremely easy, the home was extremely clean and it was so lovely to have tea, milk and water provided to enjoy throughout the stay. The garden is stunning and the view of the gold course makes Eve's place a gorgeous stop for any traveller exploring New Zealand. I would highly recommend Eve's place.

Kowhai Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. I stayed while I was working and found it completely quiet and peaceful with great internet and very comfortable. It is a totally charming cottage from the days of early settlement with original features. It has been sensitively restored and is absolutely charming. Susie met me on arrival and was very welcoming. I can’t recommend it highly enough and I’m already looking forward to returning. And the view out to the paddocks, and the manse is breathtaking. A truly beautiful spot.

We loved this overnight stay, Craig and Nadine were great hosts with breakfast provided and also the makings for a light meal the night we arrived. They couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Burke's Pass is a great place to have a wander around.

Jennifer's place is in a great location. Twizel is a lovely town with fantastic views of the mountains and stars. The property itself is a stone's throw from town centre with decent supermarkets and restaurants. The house is small but cosy and had most of what you need for a comfortable stay. The bed in particular was very comfortable. Jennifer was easy to communicate with and we had no issues during our 1-week stay. A few things to note: 1) It was not an issue for us but the bathroom is quite small. For reference I'm 165cm and my knees are near the wall when sitting on the toilet. 2) The two skylights in the room offer beautiful views of the milky way in the comfort (i.e. warmth) of your room at night, and also functions as an effective alarm clock in the morning 😂 3) Some of the cooking utensils are quite worn out. You can probably request for replacements from Jennifer but we decided to simply make do with the other appliances available, which worked out well!

We had a lovely stay at Joanne’s cosy apartment in Twizel. It was clean, very comfortable, and offered plenty of privacy — perfect for a relaxing stop during our travels. The space was well-equipped and felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend for anyone passing through the area!

Extraordinary home, with billiard table and dart. Also the bathroom fully equipped with all you need. I loved it from the beginning. The location is perfect, easy to find at the end of a road. Close to the city Center and old town, close to a park, and close to train tracks, where I now made it, after four times in NZ to see a train in action. And no, it isn’t disturbing. Next time in Oamaru, I will ask again for that home. Thx to you 🙋🏼‍♂️ Roger

Spacious room and very comfortable! Convenient location, just a 2 mins drive to town. Surroundings was peaceful and quiet. The staff was friendly and asked whether we needed any extra things for the room. Thin walls were not an issue for us as the room next door was vacant. Bathroom however was a bit too cold even with the heater on, but that's coz the weather was below 10°C when we went, so it's understandable. Nonetheless, a Great place to stay! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed staying in Keri and Julie’s place and we ended up staying an extra night so that we had more time to explore around the Maniatoto. Naseby is a lovely wee place and Keri and Julie’s accommodation is spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Communication was quick and helpful. We thoroughly recommend.

Our family had a great stay in Ally’s home, it’s cozy and clean, exactly the same as description. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked our dinner by ourselves. The bed is the most comfortable in these travelling days and I had a great sleep. Really recommended !

Cozy and spacious room with a decent window viewing. When the nights get too cold there is a heater ready for the room and the bathroom. Most places are walkable like a 10 minute walk to nearest restaurant. Definetly saving this place when I go back to Tekapo.

Jolie’s place was even better than what we saw on the pictures. The studio was very clean and had everything we needed. Its location is perfect to visit Aoraki/Mt Cook and lake Tekapo. We even had the time to go for a run on Cowan’s Hill before leaving on the last morning.

My family stayed in the family room and it was amazing!! First time in a hostel and was way better than a hotel. The kitchen had some many shared foods, the massage chair was amazing, beautiful views and the beds were so comfy. Highly recommend!!! Was nice and quiet at night as well :)

Great spot. Walkable to the city. Lovely view of the water. The TV room is very inviting and allowed us to congregate with other patrons, easily. GO TO THE PENGUIN MARCH & STEAMPUNK MUSEUM, ALL WALKABLE NEARBY. BEST PART OF THE TRIP.
