Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Wailea-Makena

The Mana Hale house is truly a diamond! As well seasoned Maui visitors, we have extensive experience with vacation rentals on the island and like to think that we have found our spot to rebook. The entire home was clean and stocked with all the amenities one could need. The property is beautifully landscaped with wonderful fruit trees surrounding the house - which we enjoyed in our breakfast and in our cocktails! The decks are very nice to relax on, Cassie was kind enough to come by and spray them off from time to time during our stay. Cassie is such a thoughtful and kind host, her hospitality & communication are top notch, I have never had a host REALLY care and take the time that she did. We love staying in the Wailea area, so the location & value of the property is incredible as we frequent the restaurants & beaches there. Mana Hale is conveniently set 1 straight mile with one stoplight and one stop sign away from the beach. It has a great neighborhood to walk thru as well.

The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

The house is very clean, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Peter is incredibly warm and hospitable. The content of his guest book is very detailed, covering everything from restaurants to shopping to travel tips, and even includes his personal recommendations, which left a deep impression on us. Our self-driving trip on the road to Hana followed the route Peter suggested. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at Scott’s place! He was an excellent host: very friendly, excellent suggestions for great local restaurants and things to do, quick in communication/response to questions, and very helpful. We highly recommend staying here!

Can’t reccomend this spot enough! The view in is incredible and sitting on the porch for sunset is such a treat. Sandra is lovely and ensures that you feel right at home and well cared for. We had small children with us and she had a pack-and-play, a high chair, multiple age appropriate toys, and beach equipment/toys available. This made our experience so much easier and more enjoyable. Would love to return!

The first morning we sat out on lanai and we're able to spot some whales. Beautiful view of ocean and quiet kid friendly beach right next door. 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms exactly as pictured. Had all we'd need to stay. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries as they provide hotel size 2 in 1 for hair and no body wash just bars of soap. the beach towels, beach sand toys, and beach chairs we super nice to have that they have out on lanai. it was very clean and comfortable and a great central location to many food places, fruit markets and beaches. I recommend getting fruit shave from Gus's and Ulalanis shave ice. Also malasadas (donuts) fresh were divine. found them at food trucks and the shops at wailea the grocery market there. such a memorable trip as a family! thank you for letting us make your place our home for the week. We absolutely loved our stay in Kihei! The condo is centrally located so we were able to make our way around the island very easily. We appreciated the view of the grounds, pool, and ocean from the lanai. We will be recommending this property to our family and friends. You should definitely check out the food trucks and atmosphere at the South Maui Gardens. 😋

Super central spot in Maui to hang out and get to and from other areas on the island! There’s a pool, tennis courts, and a parking lot - quick drive to the airport, and no more than 30-40 minutes from the furthest spots that we wanted to check out to unwind for the rest of our Maui journey after Haleakala. Ample room in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and a great WiFi! There’s a basket of tennis balls and rackets, snorkel fins, masks, and even anti-fog. (Loved Ahihi-Kinau Nature Preserve!) Beach towels came in handy to stay dry afterwards too :) truly had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay! Make sure to keep tidy and listen to our hosts and don’t let any plates stay overnight as we spotted a couple of ants on a plate we left out by accident 😭 we were warned and it was true, after that we had no issues as we were careful in wiping down surfaces and washing our dishes right away. Clean & Simple! Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location could not be any better, perfect walking distance from Kihei night life and multiple beach fronts to choose from!

Melissa’s condo was incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Communication with Melissa was superb - always able to quickly answer any question and proactively communicating about the stay. The location of the condo is perfect right across the street from the K3 beach, within walking distance to plenty of food, and with a clear line of sight to the ocean and sunsets. The space felt like plenty of room for our family of six. The well stocked kitchen with updated appliances and cookware made making meals easy. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked great. Plenty of amenities including a closet stocked with everything you’d need for the beach, separate towels for beach and bathroom use, and a well maintained association pool / grill area very close by to the condo. Some commented on road noise but we didn’t find it burdensome. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again if available on another trip - thanks so much for hosting us Melissa!!

Had a wonderful few days in Maui and Brooke’s apartment was a great place to stay! Such a central location, and easy to find, with local shops and stalls, places to eat (the food trucks right behind were a perk!) and a stunning view across to the beach to enjoy, especially the sunsets - beautiful! Everything was within walking distance, however having a car to explore the island more was essential and parking was super easy! Brooke was really helpful and responsive to messages and the apartment is tidy with everything you need :)

We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. It had all we were looking for in our first visit to Hawaii / Maui, and was walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The condo was kept clean and tidy, and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach / pool and site see around the island. Jacques and Ronda were very responsive hosts when booking as well as with any questions we had.

We just completed a two week stay at Karen's place. We had a very nice, quiet time there celebrating our 59th wedding anniversary. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The unit was a little hard to find on our first night. We parked in the wrong lot. The stairs in the building presented some problems due to my wife's limited mobility, but we managed fine. The unit was very clean and had lots of extra towels and linens. The kitchen set-up was very nice as we had many meals in the unit. We would definitely stay there on our next trip to Maui.

This was a great place to stay for a week. It is right across from a beautiful beach that we walked in the mornings and went to for amazing sunsets. There is a lot of activity going on around the area with restaurants, shopping and water activities. The unit is very comfortable for 4 people, may be tight with 2 more in the common space. The layout is nice, the kitchen is great and fully equipped, the beds were very comfortable. There is a nice balcony with a pretty view (not of the beach but still beautiful). The host was extremely responsive to questions and also reached out proactively to ask how things were going. Also the on island hosts were great. We had planned a surprise proposal on the trip and they helped with recommendations for photographers which worked out great. They were also responsive when we needed help with the television. My only critique is to add more closet/dresser space and for much bigger bath towels (we used the beach towels). It was a great stay!

We had a great stay at Kihei Bay Surf. We were right across the street from the beach, but when it got too windy, we also had pool access which was very nice. The road was a bit busy, but ultimately not too bad. For those guests that like to cook from their stays (like we do) we found the kitchen well equipped, though you may want to plan ahead regarding seasonings and condiments, etc. There are also a lot of great restaurants nearby (Karen's recommendations were all excellent!) Wonderful condo overlooking the ocean with whales breaching on the distance, and sea turtles swimming along the beach. Big comfortable bed, kitchen with all the amenities, nice bathroom and shower, and incredible sunrise view.

This is a perfect place to stay while visiting Maui. All the positive reviews are right on point so I won't repeat them and Dan is an awesome wonderful host. The location is perfect close to everything and this was probably the best-stocked Airbnb with everything you need to feel at home. We can't wait to return.

We loved our stay at Su’s place. The condo was in a great location within the complex - a corner unit with the bedrooms backing onto a quiet street. The ground floor location was convenient and provided a lovely spot for the lanai, which has a gorgeous garden view. The condo was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The condo complex was safe and family friendly. The close proximity to the beach and grocery store were a huge plus for us. Su was accommodating, kind and responsive.

Awesome host. She was great throughout the trip. Very accommodating with our crazy flight schedule. Very clean and had all the amenities. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay. Will be back for sure. Thanks again Lena
