Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Wailea-Makena

The best!!! We wanted a private home with lush surroundings and that's exactly what we got. House was exactly as it was listed and was perfect for our needs. Could not be at the location, close to Wailea beaches or Kihei shops/restaurants. Def will stay there again!!

The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

Peter was very interactive with us right from the beginning of booking. He made sure we had everything we needed. Very personable and met with us upon arrival and departure. Checked on us during our stay, but was not intrusive. His local instruction book was very thorough, even pointing out the proper landmarks we need to follow. For those that are looking for adventure and exploring the island via hiking or other sports, and wish to be away from big resorts, this place is perfect. Nice quiet garden setting. Can see the stars at night without resort lights. Very comfortable and cozy bungalow. I am definitely gonna stay here again someday. Peter is a great host.

This stay was absolutely perfect! Scott truly thought of everything—the place was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and wonderfully quiet. The location was super convenient to local attractions, making it a great home base for exploring. The host was friendly and welcoming but also gave plenty of space. Highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. We appreciated the private patio space. This home is in a convenient location for easy walking to restaurants and shops in central Paia. It was hard to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa! It fit our family of 5 well and was a great place to stay! The private pool is great and the villa had great amenities and was very clean! Sandra was so helpful and friendly! Would definitely stay here again. It isn’t walkable to the beach but a super quick drive. It’s very peaceful and quiet.

I travelled to Maui with my husband, 3 kids and mom. We had a fabulous time! Sujata provided recommendations to nearby amenities before we checked in and throughout our stay as well. She was very responsive to our needs. There were some pool noodles and chairs in a bin outside to use for the beach but not much else for the kids. I reached out to Sujata and she promptly offered to bring by some sand toys along with puzzles, books and toys for our kids during our stay. It was much appreciated! We cooked most of our meals, including lunch and supper. A few things that could have been helpful to have would have been sharp knives, scissors, cutting board, to go containers or bags, ice packs, etc. we made do with what we had and purchased some containers for beach lunches. The bbq was great and the hot tub was fun! Our kids loved an evening dip after a day of activities. There is a school across the street so pick up and drop off hours were busy on the street but the yard is very private.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Turtle House. Poni was wonderful, location made us feel like we were locals. Beaches were amazing, so many fun restaurants to choose from. Her guide book was second to none, recommendations were spot on. We will definitely stay here again.

The first morning we sat out on lanai and we're able to spot some whales. Beautiful view of ocean and quiet kid friendly beach right next door. 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms exactly as pictured. Had all we'd need to stay. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries as they provide hotel size 2 in 1 for hair and no body wash just bars of soap. the beach towels, beach sand toys, and beach chairs we super nice to have that they have out on lanai. it was very clean and comfortable and a great central location to many food places, fruit markets and beaches. I recommend getting fruit shave from Gus's and Ulalanis shave ice. Also malasadas (donuts) fresh were divine. found them at food trucks and the shops at wailea the grocery market there. such a memorable trip as a family! thank you for letting us make your place our home for the week. John was very proactive in communicating with us and it made the check-in/check-out process seamless. We booked the condo for its location given that we were planning to do day trips for the last few days of our vacation after spending the first half at a resort. It did not disappoint. Very convenient location, the kids enjoyed the pool, and everyone at the condos were very friendly.

Super central spot in Maui to hang out and get to and from other areas on the island! There’s a pool, tennis courts, and a parking lot - quick drive to the airport, and no more than 30-40 minutes from the furthest spots that we wanted to check out to unwind for the rest of our Maui journey after Haleakala. Ample room in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom, and a great WiFi! There’s a basket of tennis balls and rackets, snorkel fins, masks, and even anti-fog. (Loved Ahihi-Kinau Nature Preserve!) Beach towels came in handy to stay dry afterwards too :) truly had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing stay! Make sure to keep tidy and listen to our hosts and don’t let any plates stay overnight as we spotted a couple of ants on a plate we left out by accident 😭 we were warned and it was true, after that we had no issues as we were careful in wiping down surfaces and washing our dishes right away. This lovely condo was just as described. Quiet, clean, spacious, with all of the amenities. Beds were comfy, shower was great, and Tamsen supplied all of the beach toys we needed... chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. We were across the street from beach and sunsets. And next door to many delicious restaurants. We'd definitely stay again!

Clean & Simple! Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location could not be any better, perfect walking distance from Kihei night life and multiple beach fronts to choose from!

We had an unforgettable stay! The location was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning ocean front views that made every moment special Melissa was fantastic. She was incredibly responsive from the moment we booked, providing great suggestions for activities to keep our family, engaged and active throughout our stay. The space itself was spotless and well equipped, offering everything we needed and more to make us feel completely at home. we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and we hope to visit Maui again.

Had a wonderful few days in Maui and Brooke’s apartment was a great place to stay! Such a central location, and easy to find, with local shops and stalls, places to eat (the food trucks right behind were a perk!) and a stunning view across to the beach to enjoy, especially the sunsets - beautiful! Everything was within walking distance, however having a car to explore the island more was essential and parking was super easy! Brooke was really helpful and responsive to messages and the apartment is tidy with everything you need :)

Joe's place was fantastic - short 10 minute walk to the beach and very close to the pool and BBQ station. Mari was super responsive and was even able to get us in an hour earlier than our planned check-in. The house was well equipped in the kitchen including basic spices and condiments but even better was the provided beach stuff (coolers, chairs, umbrella's and two boogie boards!). We also really appreciated the nice little gift of chocolates, cookies and coffee waiting for us. Our family of 5 really enjoyed the place and the stay. Few tips for others: - the walk up from the beach is steep and was tough for our 80yo grandma but every time we drove to the local beach we had no issues finding parking - the pool looks like it has locks on the gates - they don't - just put your hand through and open from the other side - nice 3rd story look-out at the pool for sunset but get there early as it is a popular place - have a coffee grinder! What a great location! Karen’s condo was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable beds. We loved it so much we booked for next year. It is like a 4 minute walk to beach, she had beach chairs, toys and umbrella. There is a convenient outside shower in lower parking lot to wash off sand. We saw lots of whales breaching or tail slapping from beach, even a giant sea turtle would come sun itself. If you are planning on staying here, we found directions to actual condo confusing. We were hauling luggage and golf clubs up and down stairs. The easiest way to get to unit if you park in upper lot bring your luggage DOWN to The road to main entrance there is one set of steps to go down to unit.

Great place - will stay again. Complex is nice, quiet and very cleaen. BBQs, small pool. Parking is easy. Walk across to beach and sunset :)

Dmitry is really nice host. He texted me in advance to give us very clear instructions. His place is convenient and everything is 5 minutes walking distance.

We had a great stay at Kihei Bay Surf. We were right across the street from the beach, but when it got too windy, we also had pool access which was very nice. The road was a bit busy, but ultimately not too bad. For those guests that like to cook from their stays (like we do) we found the kitchen well equipped, though you may want to plan ahead regarding seasonings and condiments, etc. There are also a lot of great restaurants nearby (Karen's recommendations were all excellent!) The owners were so welcoming and proactive. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. They had some uncontrollable maintenance issue arise that they handled immediately and it did not disrupt our trip at all. The building and amenities were perfect. Our son loved exploring the beach and chasing crabs. Our daughter spent the evenings in the pool after our daytime adventures. We will be back and are so grateful to have experienced this slice of paradise.

This is a perfect place to stay while visiting Maui. All the positive reviews are right on point so I won't repeat them and Dan is an awesome wonderful host. The location is perfect close to everything and this was probably the best-stocked Airbnb with everything you need to feel at home. We can't wait to return.

We had a great stay at Su’s place! The beach is less than one block away, where our kids loved playing in the sand, swimming and spotting sea turtles! The beach was quiet and not too busy. The apartment was clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking / preparing meals. My favourite was the Lanai backs out onto a lovely courtyard / garden; we loved eating our meals/ drinking our morning coffee there. The communal pool / hot tub was also clean/ in good condition. Su also had some sand toys, and beach chairs for us to use. The apartment is conveniently located close to grocery stores, coffee shops ( make sure you try Akamai coffee around the corner!) etc. Su sent clear instructions for check in and was quick to respond to our questions. The price was competitive with other local rentals. We hope to be back again soon!

Awesome host. She was great throughout the trip. Very accommodating with our crazy flight schedule. Very clean and had all the amenities. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay. Will be back for sure. Thanks again Lena
