Awesome spot away from the busyness. Lovely to meet Terry & Roxy (Black Labrador) on arrival. The place was very spacious and well equipped felt right at home. Bed was most comfortable, I would book again just for this alone! heh

Great location, everything was very accessible by foot, the lake and the city. Very friendly chicken and it was very nice to have some fresh bread as a treat. Would recommend, maybe the bed could be updated at some point in the future but still very good sleep and the little couch was also very comfy in the evening ☺️

We had a great few nights here, it was an easy walk to cafes in the morning and easy to get around to other locations around the mount. The Airbnb gets lots of morning sun so it can get pretty warm inside, but it was a lovely comfortable stay overall.

Beautiful place to stay if you are in the Papamoa area. Private, secure, quiet. The studio is immaculate. Modern, clean, comfy bed and great shower! Would definitely book again.

We had a great stay here! The house was beautiful and in a great area, close to the beach and the town/local shops - definitely a great place to go during the summer!

We stayed 2nights at David beach batch it was very private in a lovely garden close to the beach and shops etc we really enjoyed our stay.

This place is a hidden gem in the area, and the host is incredibly friendly. After a long journey, we both felt right at home. The surroundings are private and peaceful, and the hospitality from the host was truly amazing. I highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay in Bronwyn and Jonathan's place! We felt right at home. The studio had everything we needed ( plus some very lovely treats !) and it was spotlessly clean!! I would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Rotoura. We had a fabulous time!

This was a fantastic place! Great central location for everything we wanted to do on the North Island outside of Auckland. Suzie was incredibly accommodating between our late arrival into town and providing the basics for breakfast. Gorgeous property and would gladly come back!

We had the most comfortable of stays at Tui Glen. No other word than perfect can sum up our stay and interaction with Glendyr. It suited our needs to see relations in the area and to reach easily all our activities. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending a stay here. From hot tub, to swimming pool to bikes available for use, all was way beyond our expectations. Just wish we could have had more time available to use the amenities but we were busy visiting tourist attractions and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay Glendyr you have a gorgeous home and the photos do not do it justice. The accommodation is far bigger than we expected. Brilliant 🤩 stay Annette Martin Claire .

We had a great time at Warrens was clean and had everthing we needed . Comfortable beds . Awesome outlook. Being able to take our dog was a real bonus. Was a secure section for dogs . Would highly recommend and we will be ba ck

From the description of Karen’s place being “country”, I didn’t expect that it would be in a densely populated neighborhood as it is. Still, privacy was an important consideration in creating the cottage. Being very close to Hwy 2 makes it very convenient to services. Traffic noise was often heard with windows open. Also, just below the property a highway is being built and heavy machinery can sometimes be heard during the day. There are sheep being farmed closeby on the hillside property, though the only farm animal I occasionally heard was a small deer. Karen is a very attentive host, eager to assure my comfort and meet needs. Her place is stylish, bright, and has nice views of the surrounding area through sliding glass doors. I cooked my breakfast cereal and dinner in the kitchenette, and value that amenity. I found Karen’s place to be convenient and comfortable for my needs!

Ann was so kind and accepted my last minute booking request, after I decided to hike out a day early from the Tongariro Northern Circuit due to bad weather. It was just the cozy place I needed - and oh did I sleep well! It was so nice and quiet. I would describe Ann's as a "peaceful retreat", and would encourage you to stay a few nights! Ann and her daughter warmly welcomed me, took the time to show me around, and we're just lovely to chat to. The little cottage was just the right size, private, and in the most gorgeous setting. I was kindly offered a late check out, and had the weather not been so sunny I would have happily stayed there all day! Some people are meant to host - Ann is one of those people 😊 I look forward to coming back someday in the future!

Considerate and kind host, appreciated the little things available on arrival such as tea, coffee, sugar, sachet drinks & milk. Lovely amenities that provided everything we needed for our stay. Will recommend to family & friends and will be our first choice of accommodation when passing through Taupo again.

This place is a delight, Trevor and Lynda clearly love hosting people as they have thought of everything that you might need. The accommodation is to a very high quality, and the grounds are magnificent. We loved meeting Billie and Toby too, they bring pure joy to the stay.
