We‘ve had the best time at Donna‘s shed! It is so nicely furnished and traveling as a group of three we loved it. Especially the bathroom and outdoor area are amazing. The location is super quiet and we recommend walking to the top of the hill. Also, the village is very cute!

With beautiful views across to the Firth of Thames, this was a great place to spend time at the seabird coast and catch the right tides. The house was comfortable and very well fitted out. Big oven and all we needed. Excellent cafe just up the hill with gallery. Barry and Liz were very kind and helpful, and changed the booking when we needed to.

Had a truly wonderful stay at Ruth's place ! The views were beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the peace. Ruth welcomed us and was very friendly and the place had such lovely details like the world map and written message on the whiteboard. I would absolutely come back again to visit!

Quiet and had everything that we could need. Small space and very well laid out so it felt roomy and easy to spread out. Loved the board of things to do in Taupo. You can tell they love what they do.

Amazing location in the mount. Room was very private and spacious. Exactly as pictured. Bed was comfortable and he provided a portacot and high chair which was great for our 1 year old. Had everything we needed for a short stay visiting friends in Tauranga.

Beautiful location to unwind and relax. It was great to switch off from the world and enjoy the scenery, we enjoyed eating our dinner while watching a mumma horse and her baby graze in the paddock.

We loved our stay at Rowena’s, such a convenient and lovely little spot tucked away near town. The studio was so lovely to be in, warm and inviting with beautiful styling. Their cat was very friendly, we got a snuggle from it and felt right at home. The place was so nice we ditched our dinner plans to enjoy some pizza and wine on the deck in the evening. Amazing stay - Robyn was so accommodating with check in time plus allowing us to have our kids there briefly pre wedding. Such a relaxing place to be with everything you could think of. loved the platter too!

Nothing short of perfection! Caron has gone above and beyond to make her place feel like a home away from home. Parking was easy and safe. The fridge/cupboards were FULL of fresh breakfast items, fruit, cereals, juice, milk, yogurts and so much more. The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom was modern, honestly zero complaints. Hands down the best air bnb we have ever stayed in tbh! Everything has been thought of from plenty of towels, loo rolls, blankets, instructions, and so on. Fab location for Hobbiton and Wairere Falls too - both a 15 min drive away. Also the garden was such a nice peaceful spot! Could not recommend enough :)

This was a fantastic place! Great central location for everything we wanted to do on the North Island outside of Auckland. Suzie was incredibly accommodating between our late arrival into town and providing the basics for breakfast. Gorgeous property and would gladly come back!

Perfect location in a quiet residential area right on the Lake. Peaceful accommodation with full kitchen , immaculate bathroom and comfortable beds. Glendyr was extremely welcoming and showed us around all the facilities, pool, spa pool bikes, laundry etc. She patiently showed us how to use the e-bikes and suggested a safe flat car free route into town. Easy access to Te Puia and other attractions . Modern laundry facilities with dryer and plenty of washing line drying space outside and inside the flat. We wish we could have stayed longer . Apologies Glendyr we think we forgot to empty the bathroom bin? We would highly recommend Tui Glen Thank you Glendyr for making our stay so relaxing.

What an amazing place to stay great view and very comfortable Warren was very helpful and his recommendations for coffee shops was perfect Anyone wanting to visit Lake Taupō couldn’t do better than this cottage very well fitted out kitchen we had a great time

Back for a 2nd trip and would visit again. Always a short stay as it's work related, but it was lovely.

Ann was so kind and accepted my last minute booking request, after I decided to hike out a day early from the Tongariro Northern Circuit due to bad weather. It was just the cozy place I needed - and oh did I sleep well! It was so nice and quiet. I would describe Ann's as a "peaceful retreat", and would encourage you to stay a few nights! Ann and her daughter warmly welcomed me, took the time to show me around, and we're just lovely to chat to. The little cottage was just the right size, private, and in the most gorgeous setting. I was kindly offered a late check out, and had the weather not been so sunny I would have happily stayed there all day! Some people are meant to host - Ann is one of those people 😊 I look forward to coming back someday in the future!

The Tui Room was great. Close to town but not too close. David and Heather were marvelous, nice to get to know them a bit. Caesar their cat was beautiful, it not real interested in making friends. He let us give him a little love, but never came seeking attention. The kitchen/bathroom worked well for us, nice shower and everything we needed to make our meals. It’s a great spot for visiting Taupō!

This place is a delight, Trevor and Lynda clearly love hosting people as they have thought of everything that you might need. The accommodation is to a very high quality, and the grounds are magnificent. We loved meeting Billie and Toby too, they bring pure joy to the stay.
