I had a wonderful 10-day stay here and I'd love to return! The house was immaculate and very comfortable, with plenty of old world charm. The village is beautiful and peaceful, and thankfully doesn't seem to be touristy. I didn't meet Carmela but her son Luciano was very friendly and helpful, even picking me up and dropping me off in Avellino, from where I got the bus to/from Naples. I'd had a few concerns before I came about being here without a car, but I needn't have worried. There's a great shop run by a lovely lady just around the corner, with a good selection of groceries, including fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious cheeses, etc. Although there are buses to the larger towns, I never felt the need to go as I could get everything I needed in the village. I was working remotely during my stay and I can recommend the house for digital nomads - the wifi connection was good enough to have Zoom calls without any problems, for example. All in all, very highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing. I have never experienced hospitality like this before. The hosts were absolutely incredible. Kind, and genuinely warm. They made me feel like a part of their family, which is something I’ll always remember. Every detail was taken care of, and their attention to my comfort was unmatched. They went above and beyond by helping me. Their kindness and support truly made a difference during my stay. If you’re looking for a stay that feels like home, but better, this is the place to be. Highly recommend it

We stayed a week with Angela and it was one of the best airbnb experiences: the house is cozy, very clean in every detail, equipped with everything you need both in the bathroom and in the kitchen and in the laundry room. Angela also made us find breakfast for the next few days, including fruits and vegetables from her garden and delicious homemade cookies. Both she and her husband were really kind and hospitable, giving us many useful tips for our visits. Smart their dog is tender and playful, our eight-year-old son got up in the morning to play with him. The house is a great starting point for exploring both the Vesuvian excavations (Pompeii is very close) and Vesuvius, Salerno, the coast and Naples, many centers can be reached with the circumvesuviana which is about a ten-minute walk from the house as well as the highway toll booth, is located in a quiet and peaceful area. We would be happy to stay
