Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Vila do Conde

We recently enjoyed a delightful week-long stay with our family at this enchanting house in the heart of Vila da Conde. The property's romantic outdoor architecture immediately sets it apart from the surrounding homes, creating a truly charming atmosphere. As a group of adults with children, we found the house to be perfectly suited to our needs. Located next to a small city park with a playground and cafés, the house offers easy access to local amenities. Historical sites and museums are within a short walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The spacious interior, including three bathrooms, was a major plus, and the outdoor pool, seating area, and grill provided ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. Isabel was a wonderful host with a beautiful home. Absolutely spotless and so much to do in the villa. It’s well equipped and has everything you need so all you need is food and drink! Perfect for families. Such a lovely touch having a fruit basket on arrival and fresh bread delivered daily. Pool was a little cold for our toddler, but I think that’s down to slightly fussiness and the time of year we came as it was windy with the odd shower and forest fires. Isabel always responded instantly with any queries we had and was very helpful. Would definitely come back if we decided to come to Portugal again. Would be even better when our kids get older so they can make use of the games room as I only have a newborn and two year old at the moment. Such a lovely stay - thank you Isabel.

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious and welcoming house! The living room is incredibly cozy, a large dining area, and a fireplace that adds so much warmth and charm. One of the standout features is how warm the house is—truly the warmest place I’ve ever stayed in Portugal, even in January. It made our stay so much more comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the fridge is big and spacious—perfect for anyone who loves to cook. The bedrooms are equally impressive—large, with plenty of wardrobe space, and the king-size beds are incredibly comfortable. The backyard is another highlight, with a spacious outdoor dining area and a BBQ setup, making it perfect for enjoying meals outside. Finally, the host was absolutely wonderful—super friendly and always ready to help. We felt so well taken care of during our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, well-equipped, and welcoming home away from home!

We had a great 2-weeks stay at Melanie’s ! A cute, cosy and well equipped place, Mélanie made it a home for us right from the start. Great amenities both in the house as well as surroundings. Highlight would definitely be its close proximity to the beach - one of the best !

We spent a lovely week in Dino and Ines's house. They were wonderful hosts - very kind and attentive - and gave us great advice on what to do - even down to where to park for free! The house is lovely - really spacious and comfortable - and it was fantastic to have a pool to relax in. The house is a great base for exploring the area - our favourites were the beach at Vila Cha, the market at Barcelos (we used the shuttle bus in and out), a day trip to Pena Adventure Park and also Viana do Castelo. Porto is also really easy to get to. Overall a wonderful stay. Thank you!

It was lovely to stay in Cristina's cottage. Really a gift! Cristina was very helpful and the neighbors were very generous (came by a number of times with fresh figs and also once with a bottle of regional wine). Really a place to go more often.

The Apartment is wonderful, everything new, clean, close to everything, there is coffee, candy house, mini market, the church bells are a charm apart, I always found a place to park the car, everything is perfect, I highly recommend it !

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. In October, it was cooler this year than sonsg this time of year. In the evening we made a fire in the fireplace in the living room. The fireplace is easy to fire it pulls well when the window is open a little. We bought wood in the minimercado around the corner. At the bakery around the corner, we had breakfast or bought rolls. It is cozy. Sea is very near. Otherwise, the area is quiet. 15 minutes walk, for example on the beach, is the Cafe/Bar Terra Nova. Beautiful terrace and cozy inside. Jorge was a perfect host. always helpful and accommodating.

Very clean, large, functional apartment. Bruno is a very welcoming host. He picked us up from the metro, took the suitcases and 3 of us because we were 2 adults and our 4 children, which was not planned so nice surprise. Only small downside to the fairly busy road and the neighbor above who moves his furniture in the middle of the night with his dog that you can hear walking. Despite this, I highly recommend this place, very well located, a 5-minute walk from the beach. Vila do conde is a very beautiful city to visit and can be easily done on foot in 30 minutes. Our 5-year-old daughter also walked the 15 20 kms daily. We had a lovely week of vacation.

Such a great place. I would highly recommend it. Also great coffee shop steps away called humble Anchor in the morning. The pictures don’t do the place justice! Highly recommend!

Gorgeous, creative flat! Very lively at Christmas…they play Christmas music well into the night on the pedestrian street below, and the New Year’s Eve party is a blast—literally—with fireworks. The high ceilings make it hard to heat in the winter, which was fine for this Buffalo, NY native. It’s probably the most beautiful in the spring and fall, so I’ll be back then!

We had such an amazing, relaxing stay at this beautiful home. The location could not be better, we watched the sun set every night from the balcony. The place itself is pristine, beautifully decorated and felt like home. We cannot say enough about this amazing place! Couldn’t recommend more and hope to go back one day!

Perfect location in Povoa de Varzim. Could walk every where and view was amazing. We based ourselves here for 9 days and did day trips. It worked out perfectly. Marina was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Would definitely recommend.

We were extremely pleased with the house sa Isabel and Paulo, who were a 5-star host. Very responsive, friendly and attentive to us during our stay. We were super welcome on arrival and the house was immaculate, super clean and airy. The apartment is cosy, it is equipped with everything you may need during a short stay and the beds are quite comfortable. The apartment is located in front of Marina and Club Naval, which was very convenient for us. The front view of the sea is reassuring and the sunset seen from the terrace is sufficient reason to stay in this house. From the back town you can also see the sunrise, so the house is quite luninous. It will be our home and election every time we return. We felt at home and we were very sorry to return to Lisbon, as it was a wonderful family weekend in this welcoming home. Thanks Isabel and Paulo.

We had a wonderful stay at Ricardo’s apartment. We were a group of 9 persons and it was really comfortable, very well located. All the attractions are walking distance. Ricardo was also very flexible with us with the check out. Really recommended and for sure we would stay again.

Great place to stay - located close to the centre, but not noisy. Nice big apartment The hosting was super helpful, very responsive and friendly, gave us lots of tips of nearby things to do. Would highly recommend!

We enjoyed exploring Porto. So much history. We didn’t need our vehicle as we were able to walk everywhere. Luis had great recommendations for places to see and eat at. Luis spoke English very well so we found communication easy. Very spacious accommodation and we felt very safe. Luis recommended Pingo Doce grocery market about a 7 minute walk. Found it very clean and all we needed for our stay. My husband and I would definately return to Luis’s place overlooking the Duoro River. Beautiful.

Super clean, perfect location. Parking was a bit of a challenge. Beautiful building, great remodel. Comfy beds! Well appointed kitchen. Walkable area - easy to get everywhere.
