Beach house vacation rentals in Vila do Conde

Small house tastefully arranged, and fully equipped. A little attention from the host awaits you in the kitchen. Its location is ideal for access between the beach, the old center, the surf and fishing spot of Matosinhos. The neighborhood is quiet but everything is there, convenience store, bars, tea rooms, restaurants... There is nothing missing to have a great stay. Small downside however by the humidity and its small smell in the downstairs room, apart from that everything is great. We will gladly come back hoping to have warmer weather and be able to fully enjoy the small private terrace.

We spent two wonderful days at the beach. On November 1, due to the temperatures of about 20 degrees still swimming in the Atlantic, we will of course remain unforgettable. The property also has a small electric heater, which was also very useful in the morning hours. The place is away from the hustle and bustle, yet restaurants and shopping are in walking distance. Our guest also took care of all inquiries promptly. Thank you!

The stay is cozy, you feel at home, the house is only 4.5 KM away from the Luis I bridge, you can go walking along the entire Río Duero, if you want parking you all have them close to the port of Gaia, you have two parking areas near the house in the Marina, free, the whole village is beautiful, it is Aforada, fishing village of Gaia, you can have breakfast and dinner there, the village is cozy, it is our second time and we will repeat many more, thank you Dora for taking care of us so special

Everything was great, we were met by a very friendly and nice woman who showed and explained everything. The accommodation is excellent, everything is as in the photos. Very comfortable, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nearby, the ocean is making a very nice noise. The view is beautiful too. Recommend.

The apartment has a great location and the little garden is a lovely place to unwind with a drink and look at the view over Porto

The house was immaculate. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfy, and the balcony had an amazing view. Great place to stay in a great location. Check out the little wine shop and bar across the alley if you have time. The owners are great.

easy check in and check out. the apartment is within walking distance to the beach and surrounding restaurants, stores, etc. the place was very clean and felt like home. a great plus, was the fact that it had heating in every room.

The place is truly a dream. The whole house is super equipped, there is nothing missing in the kitchen and the beds are super comfortable. We had a great stay and were very grateful for the great communication with the owners. The area is really nice and the beach is not only super close, but also very very nice. We would come back right away!

The photos of Maria's place don't really do it justice, there is lots of space and the pool area has 10 sun loungers and a decking area where you can eat and relax. The beach is literally a few hundred metres away. Local supermarkets are plentiful and well stocked and we easily found everything we needed. It's worth doing the 45min drive to Porto to see the sights (bus services exist but only run a few times a day and they are often late and hard to book on to). The house was spotless and had everything we needed, especially in terms of cooking and barbeque equipment. There was also some beach equipment and games. Maria was very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend.

The accommodation is lovely, the kids loved the pool and Tania is a brilliant host, she was very kind. Super holiday.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa dos Olivais! Exactly as described—clean, cozy, & fantastic location. As beautiful as the photos are, the place is even more breathtaking in person. All of the amenities were great esp. it being so well equipped for cooking. If that isn’t your thing don’t worry there are some nice food spots a skip away. The place was very clean, bright & helps to completely unplug if need be. If you’re considering, book it! You will not regret the experience. Leading up Afonso ensured we had details needed for not only a seamless check in but had great advice for places to eat, on parking & gave appropriate heads ups for other practical aspects. Notes: Those booking & renting a car parking is not immediately outside but it was easy enough to find free spots close by. There will be a little bit of a walk on cobblestone if you’ve got luggage. Overall, it was a fantastic experience & we didn’t want to leave. I would definitely recommend it to others looking to stay.

We loved our stay in the house, the house was great for eight people, the swimming pool was really nice and there were also fantastic outdoor place with barbecues. It was only 5 minutes walk to restaurants and supermarkets. Eason was a great host and everything was clean and nice in the house

Wow I really enjoyed the stay. The place is impeccably styled and is very conveniently located. The host is awesome and we were fed a daily supply of crazy amount of bread and pastries. What is not immediately clear from the photos is that the place is in a vicinity of a big port, but that is actually a very interesting view to see so we're more than enjoyed the stay and would totally come back again.

We had a lovely stay at Francisco's beautiful home. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all that a family of 6 would need. Our kids really enjoyed the lower level playroom and the outdoor space and pool. The hosts shared local recommendations and even provided a few welcome treats and wine which we appreciated. Francisco was extremely responsive and came by within minutes when we had a question about something in the house one morning. The area is quiet but on the outskirts of many of the sights of downtown Porto. Something to be aware of if you're looking for an area that is walkable or closer to the activities around town. You will need to Uber (minimum 10-15 minutes) to get to most nearby Porto attractions. Great house and pretty decent location if you don't mind being a bit further away from the city center.

Really enjoyed the house and the calm surroundings and beach - perfect for a very much needed time-off in family.

Excellent space, easy access, close to the center and the beaches. I advise anyone who wants to visit Póvoa de Varzim, very accessible hosts.
