Monthly Rentals in Viken

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The pictures honestly don’t do it justice! Seeing the view for the first time was amazing and we were even lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights one evening. Amila & Amer were really lovely hosts. We couldn’t recommend their place enough and hopefully we will be back in the future!

We really enjoyed our time at Jøran’s house! It has everything you need and more for a longer stay. The WiFi is very good if you need to work remotely. Furthermore, everything is super clean. You are able to watch a beautiful sunset every night from the spacious terrace. It is good to have a car but there is also a train station approximately 2km away. Jøran’s place is a very good starting point to explore southern Norway (including Oslo). Last but not least: Jøran is so so friendly and always reachable if you need anything as she is living on the same property. We would love to come back someday. Thank you very much for everything, Jøran!!

We had a wonderful week in Halvard's cottage. Fortunately, there was enough snow for cross-country skiing. We often visited the nearby cafe. Our dog also felt comfortable.

Nils and Mette are absolutely lovely people. The cabin is on a beautiful farm with a view of the fjord, very dreamy and beautiful. We had a lovely time there and would love to go back some day. It is quiet, relaxing and a perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend their cabin. They also let us use their other cabin to chill which was right next to the fjord - perfect sunny day for fjord swimming. And yes - the fresh chicken eggs were pure nostalgia for us because it is so rare to get them in cities.
