Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Victoria

We had a great 3-night stay at Bonnie and Dave's place. We enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, the hot tub, and the outdoor fire pit. Bonnie and Dave even let us put up our tent in front of the Airbnb, so that my husband and son could have a bit of a "camping" experience--something our son had wanted to do all summer. The kitchen was well-equipped for making family meals, and we appreciated Bonnie's freshly baked muffins, eggs, and other food she left for us. The location of the Airbnb worked well for a fun day trip to Salt Spring Island via the Crofton ferry, being only a 15-20 minute drive from Crofton, and it was only about a 40-minute drive from the Kinsol Trestle section of the Cowichan Valley Trail, which we enjoyed biking along. Bonnie, Dave, and their dog, Sawyer, were away during our stay, so we didn't get to meet them on this visit, but they were always prompt, helpful, and friendly with all their communications. Where do I start, to describe how amazing our experience was! The house is at the top so you can only see a few roofs. The owners do live nearby and have a wonderful dog that visits if you are OK with him. Location is out of town, but only 30 minutes (residential driving, so speed limit is low) to town. So many natural things to see within 10 minutes or just explore around the house! Lots of games at the house to keep everyone busy if the weather is not great. The only downside, other than not being able to live there full time, would be the water pressure. It was very low and difficult to shower if any other water source was on and also washing dishes was hard. If there is availability, we will be back!

This space is gorgeous. It is truly perfect for two people and everything is beautiful about it - the decor inside, the hot tub and moss garden outside, the views of the mountains and the beaches. There was lots of space for the two of us. We loved using the fireplace at night as well. This is such a special place and we would definitely book again.

Rebecca’s and Mark’s place was super nice to stay at - comfy beds, bright place, nice view and the hot tub. I loved the frogs croaking late evenings - it was so relaxing while sitting in the hot tub :) also the brewery was 5min walk away! I would 100% recommend their place.

What a lovely stay me and my family had in Jordan River. The house felt like home, the sauna was an incredible bonus and we loved the sound of the running creek. The cold shoulder cafe was a highlight for our boys and the hikes were all within a short drive. Julie was a fantastic host with a gem of a property. We can’t wait to come back.

We had such a lovely stay at Eileen and Glenn’s place! They were incredibly responsive and kind, even waiting for us to arrive in the dark to make sure we got settled in comfortably. From the start, they provided clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations for food, coffee, and places to visit. One of the highlights for us was that they warmly welcomed our dog—plus, the hot tub surrounded by greenery was such a relaxing treat! It was the perfect little getaway. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly retreat!

Terry's place was absolutely fabulous! Exactly as described, very clean and spacious with lots to do (hot tub, outdoor fire pit, pool table)! I appreciated the dedicated workspace in the home which was perfect for those of us who work when we travel. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with lots of small appliances and things to get you started when you first get there. Terry was a kind host who accommodated us with an early check in and great communication while we were there. We would love to come back next year, and absolutely recommend Terry and his place to all guests looking for a peaceful spot with lots to do, and beautiful surroundings! Thanks Terry for being a super host and for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This is paradise. Absolutely breath taking. Away from it all. The cabin was spotless, well equipped. Absolute privacy. We will 💯 be back. Aletta is a unbelievable and caring host. I can't say enough how perfect this was. Thank you Aletta. I highly recommend your BNB. ❤️

This place is a true gem on the west coast. This was the perfect peaceful getaway we were hoping for. Wonderful hosts, gorgeous private cabin, and incredible ocean views. We’re already planning our next visit.

What an incredibly peaceful gem this space is! The cabin is jaw-dropping when you first walk in - gorgeous with huge windows, beautiful wood everywhere, and comfortable, clean and modern furniture. The fireplace was cozy and easy to use and the kitchen well-stocked. Master bedroom with huge windows and the sound of the creek had such a relaxed vibe. Steam shower is incredible! Linens top notch. Easy to find and very private property, completely surrounded by nature. Only issue we had was hot tub was cold when we arrived and it took hours to heat up so we missed out on it our first day. 10/10 recommend and would love to return.

Our family absolutely loved the place! It was comfortable, peaceful and one of a kind. It even smelled lovely when we arrived, probably due to some fresh lavender bunches and the wood stove. John and Mel were very kind people and took the time to help our kids get comfortable with their dogs and goats. Our kids love animals and this was a really nice touch. I just wish we had visited in warmer weather so we could open the big roll up door and let the outside in. If we ever make it back this way, we'll come in the summer.

FIRST, THANK YOU FOR BEING PET FRIENDLY! I needed a peaceful getaway to de-stress, and Nina & Steve's sweet cottage was absolutely perfect. It was amazingly quiet day and night. Pretty view of the bay from the patio deck. The kitchen is small but has a full stove and fridge and is plentifully stocked with everything for cooking. Lots of surprising extras like a pizza crisping pan and pizza cutter; some dry goods, spices, and sauces; tea, Keurig coffee pods, and complimentary wine! Very comfortable mattress in the downstairs bedroom and a fabulously lounge-y couch in the living room. LOVED the vintagy little propane stove and stained-glass windows. Netflix and cable with big TVs in living room and bedroom. Cowichan Bay is a great little village to explore, but I wasn't in tourist mode on this trip. I was blissfully happy just chilling in the cottage. One caveat: wee bathroom has no tub for soaking, and some may find the single shower stall access a bit of a squeeze.

What a beautiful place to stay for a long weekend in Galiano. The location and view is downright idyllic and if you enjoy stargazing from a hot tub, you won’t find a better place to do it. The cottage is an older one, so if you’re the type of traveler who prefers a pristine, modern interior, this place may not be the best fit. For me though, its age and imperfections just added to its overall charm. I’ll absolutely be rebooking the next time I’m on Galiano.

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

We have stayed here MANY times, and it has been a wonderful stay each and every time. Fiona and Gerry are excellent hosts, and have thought of everything to make a stay as comfortable as possible. It’s a peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere. Could not recommend more!! Five stars every time.

Wonderful! Having lived on Haro Strait for 4 years, I was looking for a property on the water for our long weekend visit. This was it! It met our needs perfectly. Easy drive to Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare awesome meals. The heated bathroom floor was a plus in the cool mornings! The house was also incredibly clean, beds comfortable, and plenty of linens. We saw the otter family and seals a few times. It was fantastic that they allowed dogs. It made it possible for my sister to join us. When I come back for another visit, I will definitely try and book this property again. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

The house is in an amazing location, with plenty of space for our family with 3 kids, and room to spare. Peter and Larry were super responsive and helpful and made sure we felt right at home. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

We had seniors travelling with us so we had to find accommodations that were a match for the three travelling with parents and it was a great peaceful stay from the start. We wish we could stay longer.

We loved our stay here and would be happy to return! Very close to stores and restaurants while still feeling far enough away to be peaceful. The space was perfect for our family of 3 and we were able to have a quaint lunch playdate with our friend's and their kiddo and have my son's grandma come visit. Our host was very responsive and helpful every step of the way and we loved the included amenities and cozy place to call home for the week.
