We had a great stay at Tesja's cottage. It had lots of charm and was very comfortable and well equipped. It is in the forest close to beautiful hikes and convenient for St Mary's lake. Tesja provided some lovely breakfast items for our arrival which was lovely. Thank you....we would stay again and recommend her cottage if you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful stay in the woods.

Such a wonderful experience at their treehouse, can't wait to come back another time~. Hosts were accommodating and responsive!

Had an amazing time with some friends and family. This wasn't our first stay at this Airbnb and won't be our last. We love this spot. It's so handy being in-between Jordan river and Sooke. The hikes and beaches nearby are great the house is so spacious, scenic, and wonderful to stay at.

We loved our stay at Leah’s cabin. Everything was pristinely clean and the interior is so beautifully decorated. The property is quiet and peaceful with serene views of the lake. We found lots of great restaurants and hiking trails nearby and the nearest town is an easy 5 min drive. Would 100% stay here again!

We had a lovely stay on Mayne in Kate's cozy cabin. The hot tub was great, and we loved the quiet forest setting. Mayne is also a nice island for cycling - fairly quiet roads, and slightly less hilly than some of the other Gulf Islands? An excellent spot for an extended weekend getaway!

What a beautiful place to stay for a long weekend in Galiano. The location and view is downright idyllic and if you enjoy stargazing from a hot tub, you won’t find a better place to do it. The cottage is an older one, so if you’re the type of traveler who prefers a pristine, modern interior, this place may not be the best fit. For me though, its age and imperfections just added to its overall charm. I’ll absolutely be rebooking the next time I’m on Galiano.

I loved my stay at Cusheon Lake! This is my second time staying at this resort and will definitely stay here again. We were a group of 2 couples. Each bedroom has a king sized bed and the rooms were on opposite sides of the cabin. We enjoyed listening to the frogs singing at night and the wood fireplace (re-stocked every day!). The hot tub and sauna were also a highlight. I recommend jumping in the lake post sauna, so fun! Thanks again!

Stunning view is an understatement!! We did have the bonus of perfect April weather, but even if cloudy, the view was sensational - overlooking the water, the ferries in the distance, freighters up close, eagles soaring from tree to tree, deer enjoying the Scotchbroom on the hill, sunsets…majestic. Inside the cabin, did not disappoint. The kitchen is well equipped, the three bedrooms upstairs were private and perfect for our 3 generation group! The hot tub was well used and the two balconies were a quiet place to settle down. This was our second visit to Pender and we loved visiting the winery, the distillery, the local coffee shops, the Port Browing pub, Hope Bay, the Saturday morning market, the Easter art walk, and brunch at the Poets Cove Resort! We hope to return to the cabin!!

Absolutely beautiful place. Exactly what me and my partner needed for our anniversary, the perfect little cabin. We spent most of the days out exploring the island and coming home to this place what a dream. The kitchen was AMAZING. had every tool imaginable (measuring spoons, measuring cups, multiple spatulas of different kinds, great cooking oil), I work in the culinary industry and this kitchen didn’t disappoint one bit. We had everything we needed and more. All of the of the cleaning supplies and hygiene items were very good quality. Also, love the chicken coop theme, it was the perfect addition to this great cabin. And for the price, this place is 10/10 if you’re looking for somewhere private and beautiful, look no further!

Trevor’s home was a weekend dream. Fantastic location, large home with everything we needed. Is was April, so cold dips had by all. Very quiet and peaceful with a lovely fireplace to gather around. No one wanted to leave. Definitely will come back.

Vilupti & Timothy are wonderful hosts and we were lucky to catch them on our visit. They were so welcoming and friendly and really made a difference. Their property is beautiful and truly special. The view at the water is so memorable and if you're looking for some peace and quiet this is the place. Just far away enough from everything but still not more than 20min from anything. Highly recommend this stay for families!

My family stayed at James’ and Julia’s place for a couple nights and their house did not dissappoint. It’s situated in a very peaceful and relaxing neighborhood, perfect for a getaway to relax and unwind. The views of the lake are amazing especially in the morning sunrise while preparing breakfast. I highly recommend their house and we definitely are thinking about coming back again.

This is a truly magical place, surrounded by trees and nature! The cozy cabin and the indoor-outdoor shower were one of a kind. How does one go back to a regular shower after showering surrounded by trees? Staying here was a true Salt Spring experience on a very quiet part of the island, about a 20 minute drive from Ganges - the downtown area. Alanda was a great host and very speedy to get back to us when we had questions. Our stay was fantastic and we'd recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

I took my daughter and 3 of her friends for a birthday celebration and they enjoyed the swimming hole and sauna. It was a great sleeping set up for them. And with being so remote, it truly felt like a far away adventure. Being from salt spring, we are more prepared for rustic. For anyone that’s not as used to rustic, then it might be a bit of an adjustment. The view is gorgeous. And we had a great time. Great chats with Roman as well. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s cabin. Extremely beautiful scenery complete with seals, ducks and geese swimming by the dock. The surrounding forest is gorgeous and we loved observing the tide. The beds are incredibly comfortable with luxurious linens. Comfy couches and I loved reading in the swinging chair. We enjoyed the dock, the outdoor dining area and the covered deck. As it states in the listing, it is a steep gravel road going down to the cabin that requires 4-wheel drive. Was no problem for us. I will miss this place and hope to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary weekend stay at Victor's place! Being dog-dads, we always appreciate a dog-friendly rental, and our golden-doodles made themselves right at home. The house was very comfortable. A fire was lit for our arrival, and the place is well stocked for cooking, cleaning, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Such a relaxing place to stay! Incredible views, comfy bed and sofa, and we loved the record and VHS collection. Would recommend the nearby Oaks Bluff viewpoint (we easily walked from the house) and the couples massage at Woods. The only thing we found tricky to use was the oven / cooker. It’s as the photos show - very charming and you just have to be patient!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The weather was perfect and we spent hours lounging on the beautiful deck, basking in the sunshine while listening to the soothing sound of the roaring surf. The views were breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot eagles soaring above us—a truly magical experience. The cabin itself was the perfect retreat, offering everything we needed and more. John was welcoming and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the master bedroom, which had an incredible view. Waking up to the sight of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing beneath the window was an experience we’ll never forget. We also took long walks along the beach and explored the nearby waterfall, which was so peaceful and rejuvenating. This stay has by far been my favourite place to unwind, and we will absolutely be back.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had a gorgeous view of the lake. The bedroom had a great private view of the forest, which was really lovely to wake up to. We especially loved the BBQ and wood-burning stove, which made the evenings super cozy! The cabin had all the essentials and more; we enjoyed flipping through the gorgeous table books provided too. We look forward to returning in warmer (less rainy/snowy) weather when we could use the outdoor fire pit and sit on the dock. The property and lake are extremely peaceful. Of note - there are no window coverings in the main living area which can be seen from other cabins, so we wouldn’t have wanted to have someone sleep on the couch. It worked perfectly for just the two of us though.

So serene there. The mini wood stove inside the cabin was my first experience and now I'm inlove. Having steamy hot showers at night in the outdoor shower was a favorite. The sleeping set up is adorable and comfortable. The style of her pottery that is in the Suite and she sells are exquisite. Franziska was totally accommodating, a great person. Her massage referral (Pheobe) was amazing. Her healing kind soul really added to our island cabin experience in the woods. Very spiritual for us, we will never forget how we felt on this beautiful, sunny, spring trip with a hint of rain. I will be connecting with these ladies again in the future for bookings.

Great location close to shopping and the ferry terminal. Quiet, peaceful, clean, and well thought out place. Had everything we needed for a getaway.

We had a lovely time at their cosy cabin in the woods. It was peaceful and homely and our boys were sad to leave. Aaron was very helpful and responsive and we felt very much at home

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Ted’s place. It was super cozy and the perfect home base for exploring the island! Our hosts were very responsive and proactive in their communication and had many great suggestions for things to see and do nearby. It’s definitely rustic, so if you’re looking for luxury this may not be the place for you. But we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, comfortable stay in the country.
