The Crow's Nest is such a cozy place to stay and we really felt right at home. It was so lovely to be welcomed by Ingrid and shown around the home, and we really appreciated her amazing hospitality. The home itself is very unique and we were so impressed to read about how and why it was built. We also loved watching the birds from the beautiful arch window in the living area. As Ingrid mentioned in her description, on busy weekends, there is limited access to wifi, so you really do get to switch off and enjoy the home and surroundings. Beautiful little swim spot nearby and easy access to Metung and Lakes Entrance. We really enjoyed our stay at The Crow's Nest and will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Carol and John’s—this has to be one of the top 5% of all the places we’ve stayed! It’s the perfect place to relax, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is stocked with big, soft towels, a spacious bath, and lovely products. The bed is incredibly comfortable—we had one of the best nights’ sleep in a long time. A real highlight was the tranquil garden, which we thoroughly enjoyed walking through. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Australia. Highly recommend!

What a lovely experience! Our two nights at Tara were very cool and comfortable. I couldn't write this review without mentioning the fabulous platters that this Airbnb is famous for. These were catered to our requirements as Pescatarians ( Kathy kindly msged us to make sure all was right). These were especially welcome because we were there over Christmas day and Boxing day. Our doggo made friends with the resident llamas and the two sweet pigs. We may have to take our grandson to come and stay with us next time. Kathy popped by for a quick chat and to see if everything was fine. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon was also very welcome. Thanks Kathy for a lovely stay.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at The Little House. Bruce was incredibly welcoming and helpful . We rather wished we had booked for longer as there was so much to see and do in the area. A beautiful drive from Melbourne airport to Warburton through the Yarra valley was the perfect way to start our Australian adventure! The little house was perfect for a couple. We highly recommend it and hope to return one day.

We loved staying at the farm and for sure will come back again. The owners were super lovely and helpful. The cabin was lovely to be in, the view was beautiful. Thank you Brendan and Hayley.

Denise & Ian were so lovely and accommodating. The Bungalow was super clean, had everything I needed, a very comfortable bed, as well as beautiful little touches like home-baked banana bread and flowers from their garden, it truly was such a pleasant stay and I would love to visit again!

Our stay at The Typsy Gypsy Wagon in Red Hill was absolutely magical! The unique bohemian design and lush, cozy interior felt like stepping into a storybook. The wagon is a true labor of love, with every detail radiating creativity and care. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic getaway—we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying the fresh air on the deck surrounded by the ramshackle garden. The location couldn’t have been better, with local shops, wineries, and trails just a short walk away. We also appreciated being so close to the beaches, which were an easy drive for a day of surfing and swimming. Anna is a fantastic host—thoughtful, responsive, and clearly passionate about making her space welcoming and special.

Such an amazing place to stay. We loved that it was a converted shipping container! Inside was modern and beautifully presented. The bathroom was lovely with a large bathtub and beautiful view. Check in and check out was very straightforward. Tash and Luke were really responsive and had some great local recommendations 😊

Uncontained provides a beautiful private space overlooking the Otway National forest. The space was well furnished and had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. Tori was an excellent host and I would love to stay there again. The sunrise view from the balcony is amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Colin’s place! The tiny home is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We really appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of Colin - the air conditioning was on when we arrived, leaving the place nice and cool on a hot summer day, Colin kindly organised for our check-in to be extra early to fit in with our lunch booking and the Milawa bread and Kit Kats were delightful! Brown Brothers winery is an easy 20minute walk away and we would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Brown Brothers or Milawa in general. Thanks so much for the hospitality Colin!

The tiny home in Gruyere was perfect for a long weekend away stay. We received clear instructions from Stephen, who was very quick with messaging and incredibly friendly! The place was easy to find and close by to shops and restaurants in nearby Healseville or Seville. We ran into Stephen and his gorgeous little dog for a chat which made us feel right at home. The accommodation itself was equipped with everything you would need, very clean and outside the views were breathtaking. Sunrises and sunsets were picturesque and we were very happy with our stay here, and look forward to a repeat trip in the near future!

What a super cute tiny house! A great layout which didn’t feel small or cramped. Surrounded by trees and wildlife made our stay extremely relaxing and a great way to switch off for a few days. Having aircon made it a pleasant stay on the 32 degree day, which I was worried about! Highly recommend and look forward to coming again. Thanks Rebekah!

Other than 8-legs who dropped in announced, it was an amazing stay. Made sure to keep the door shut😂😂😂😂. Cozy little cabin. Haven’t slept so good in a long time. Wish I could do this every fortnight or so. Quiet and peaceful. Very good for winding down, clearing your mind. Lovely hosts. Highly recommend.

From all the places we have stayed over the years Margot’s stands about above the rest. The surroundings are peaceful and exactly what’s needed for a quiet get away. The place had all the amenities required for our short stay, and somewhere we will consider coming back to on our travels in the future. Margot was a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions and enquiries we had prior to our stay. The information provided meant we didn’t have to follow up with any further questions with everything provided ahead. A lovely small property that fits a lot of personality into tiny footprint. It was very comfortable for two people - a reflection of the care and thought that have gone into creating and maintaining the space. A beautiful area with lots to see and explore - we had a lovely time visiting and hope to return again!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d booked the perfect location for our first getaway after having our baby 3 months ago. The place was tranquil, incredibly peaceful and with views to die for of Lake Eildon. We were close enough to town, but far away enough it felt we were truly on holiday. Really appreciated the kitchen with everything we could need to make meals each day. Really appreciated the coffee machine too. Narelle check in on us and was very prompt to reply with any queries we had. Highly recommend hiring a boat on lake Eildon for a few hours, it was definitely highlight of our activities of the trip. Could not recommend the Kanin enough. We will definitely be back. Feeling really relaxed and well rested after our week there.

It was a beautiful stay and we enjoyed ourselves greatly. A couple things to consider when getting this place is the bunk bed gets hot when the weather is warmer. Also there is no space to sit and work if that is necessary. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Our recent visit to Apollo Bay was amazing. Amy’s tiny stay had everything we needed and was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Being close enough to walk into town, but a bit further out meant it was very private and secluded. Walking up the morning to see cows and other animals outside our window was extra special. Amy is a very responsive and thoughtful host, with great local recommendations. Apollo Bay is very beautiful with lots of great spots to explore but also just relax and enjoy the views.

I didn’t actually take the time to read that Catherines listing was “off the grid” my bad! But really it was such a welcome surprise. We canceled going to restaurants for dinner, went shopping for great local produce & cooked on the BBQ in the fantastic kitchen! It was an amazing setting to relax , take in the beautiful surroundings, sip on a glass of local red & yummy cheeses. The property is on the higher price bracket but worth the wind down that comes with staying in such a tranquil setting. Bed very comfy too!!
