We really enjoyed our stay here. Communication was great and the place was exactly as described. Anat gave us some helpful recommendations. It is in a beautiful, peaceful location. Small nice samll touches as well: coffee beans and creamer, bluetooth speaker, and comfortable linens.

Beautiful home, really friendly and absolutely adorable dogs. My favorite part was the indoor pool and the lemon trees, there was a farm next to it with horses. The kitchen had everything we needed to heat Trader Joe’s meals and there was a separate fridge/ freezer for the Airbnb guest that I liked.

One completely forgets that one is just 40 miles north of LA! I went here after a busy work event in LA and appreciated the beautiful surrounding, the cozy cabin, and the open ears of the alpacas who were nice to listen to my stories while I fed them carrots. A cozy fire under a sky full of stars concluded my short stay. I would love to come back! Please be smarter than me and read the instructions BEFORE you get there. The instructions make it very easy to find. Thank you for having me!

"Stunningly peaceful". I wanted to reconnect with myself, my child and to slow down a bit. This place is exactly what I needed; the smell of nature, the quiet sound of llamas, camels, chickens, horses, donkeys... the place is perfectly sized for two people, and provides a great grill in the patio next to the fire pit which we used every night. My daughter is 15 and we reconnected as well, took long hikes and fed the animals. It has internet if needed (or wanted), I brought my yoga mat, even though I didn't have much time to use it, as I sat in the patio chairs to take in all the beauty. Also, Marlin was very flexible and helpful extending my stay for one more night. It is magical. ALSO they have a sauna! And carrots to feed the animals.

Kathy's stunning place is in a beautiful private, peaceful area. April time is wonderful, temperature perfect, air so fresh, hills covered in blooming California lilac with patches of poppies and other wild flowers. The space is ultra comfortable with lots of light and unobstructed views. We cooked a simple breakfast just fine. The view of the ocean is gorgeous and it's barely 5 min from the beaches and Malibu Seafood for fish and chips. Lots more restaurants less than 10 minutes away in Malibu Country Mart. Close to fun Paradise Cove. My favorite thing was having a private trail to a stream for my pup and I to wander. Lots of other trails nearby. Very relaxed atmosphere, a place to breathe. Kathy and Rich are great hosts. 10 stars!

We absolutely loved our stay at this little trailer! It’s super cozy and so adorable. The farm animals were an extra little treat and we even got to take some eggs home. If you have a hippie spirit and love nature, this is the perfect place for you! Met some of the neighbors and they were so kind and sweet. My boyfriend and I had the best time here and feel it gave us the true Ojai experience :)

We were planning our return trip before we left! Loved the deck and views of the grounds and mountains. Steve super helpful. Peaceful, private with nature and garden all around. Liked the direct access from room to deck. We felt very welcome in the home. We explored the house; it is amazing with lots of wood and glass - if you explore remember to see the 3rd floor look out.

It was our first family camping trip and we had a great time! Nan was easy to communicate with and the airstream was clean and well taken care of. The property was beautiful and my kids (ages 3 and 6) enjoyed the animals (horses, chickens, cats) everyday and the stream across the street. It was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend!

This is our second stay in six months! Rancho Grande is a magical spot - a great break from city life! Our girls love that they can roam freely, interact with the divine animals, and we love that they forget that screens exist for a few days. Alex and his family are wonderful hosts. Our girls loved learning about the animals from Linda. We warmly recommend this place!!

This place was perfect for a nature / beach front stay. Genabel is a great host. She described everything we needed about the place for a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed the sound of crashing waves putting me to sleep and the property was also perfect for pets. I will definitely stay here again as a first choice when visiting the area. Carpinteria is a magical, mellow and friendly town to visit.
