Enjoyed a fantastic week in Turnstone celebrating our family Christmas with adult children and grandchildren. It is a real multi generational family home, warm, very comfortable, spacious, light, airy with fantastic views, robust and stylish finishes all of which create a relaxing home for all to unwind and enjoy SUCH a fun time. Location is perfect being a very short walk to the sandy beach for kite flying and sand castle building, walking into Cowes for coffee shops, supermarkets and pubs! Thoroughly recommended and we will definitely be back! Thankyou most sincerely Jo for such a memorable Christmas 🙏

We were a multigenerational family group , including young grandchildren, wanting a nice relaxing holiday by the seaside, with things to do for everyone. The Gate House was exactly what we needed, with lots of room and excellent facilities! We had shared time and privacy with large communal living and dining space and a lovely enclosed safe garden and outdoor dining facilities. We knew the area but the recommended dining options were excellent. Great beers from The Bus, excellent wood fire pizzas from the beach pop up, great burgers by Fat Shaun and a Greek takeaway from the Piano bar.,with Sunset drinks in The Albion. An easy short walk to the beach, which though a bit pebbly was an ideal location on the sunny days for family fun, with Sandcastles. The sea was good for paddling, jumping and swimming and easy access to the cafe for drinks and ice creams. Sam and Simon were excellent hosts and we have no problem in recommending this fantastic holiday venue and hosts!

Our third visit to this very comfortable and immaculately kept house. The location is very peaceful and quiet with splendid views over the Solent: a constantly changing seascape. Yarmouth, and its ferry terminal, is only 5 minutes away, Tesco in Freshwater less than 10, and since the island is a major holiday destination eateries of all description abound. Many of them are dog-friendly too. The property itself is on four levels, with stairs to each, and there are also steps in the garden which cannot easily be avoided in order to access the house, so anyone with significant mobility issues could find it challenging.

A cute little house straight onto the beach. Had everything we needed for our two night stay including kids toys, books, plates, cups etc. The boys loved the bunk bed. Carl was a great host and kept us updated with information needed for our stay. Even though it was wet and windy outside, we were cosy inside and already spoken about coming back in the spring/summer. Thanks Carl.

Kate was a fantastc host from start to finish. She responded quickly to any questions asked and sent clear instructions regarding access to the property prior to our visit. She was also very quick to respond when we contacted her about something we were unable to locate upon arrival. This was sorted quickly and efficiently. The property was incredibly well equiped and very comfortable and spacious. It was also lovely and peaceful with a view of the sea. We were a family group of 8 our ages ranging from 7 months to mid 60's. This property worked well for all of us and we had the most amazing stay there. We would thoroughly recommend this property and would like to thank Kate and her team for making sure we had everything we needed.

The cabin was beautiful decorated and fitted out and the views stunning. The rooms were airy and comfortable and it was perfect for our xmas get-togethers. Warm and cosy, and well stocked. Walk on the beach was good but very far away from necessary shops. Sadly the driveway was very muddy which meant we kept bringing mud in all the time. Also the bins for waste and recycle were full when we arrived which meant we had to leave bags of rubbish etc.

St Joseph’s is incredibly comfortable and spacious. Even though there was 8 of us we never felt on top of each other. We really enjoyed waking up to sea views and had the chance to sit on the balcony with a cup of tea to really make the most of it. On a couple of occasions we took a stroll from the house to Ventnor and enjoyed fish and chips and ice cream by the sea. It is very steep and worth noting that if walking is a problem, it is worth driving down to the sea front. Our stay felt easy and a home from home experience, the house was fully equipped with everything you’d expect. Thank you Mark and Isle of Wight for a great family holiday making memories.

We had a brilliant time at Horizon View. it was decorated for Christmas with birthday decorations added for my husbands 50th birthday. The location was stunning, the sea views from the lounge and bedroom were amazing for the sunset and night sky on our first evening and watching the stormy seas for the rest of our stay. The house had everything we needed and our teenagers and dog all enjoyed it too! We hope to come back in some warmer, calmer weather!

Five stars all round. Great place, even better than the pictures and everything we could have hoped for for a holiday with the kids. The beach is 5-10 mins slow walk and easy (even with 3 small kids!) and the restaurant, entertainment and amenities at the main complex were relaxed and enjoyable. The pool was great - never needed to book (but was a quiet time of year) and again really relaxed environment. We’ll come again. The lodge is really well equipped and incredibly spacious with lovely welcoming touches. Thanks Mark & Emily!

Great place to stay to unwind from the real world, the host goes above and beyond for us this is now our 4th time back and we are never dissapointed I’m definately going back again

The communication from Sarah was great in the lead up to our stay. The check in process was simple and the caravan was clean and cosy. The park itself was nice with lots going on but we just used it as a base to come and to from.

Outstanding. Sums up our stay in Julie and Paul’s property. Throughout the booking process Julie has kept in contact. A brilliant host and her description of her property was spot on. It was certainly a joy to stay here. The previous reviews were all positive and rightly so. My wife Tracy and me wholeheartedly agree. We will most certainly request to stay here again in 2025. lovely caravan in a quiet part of the site and only 5 mins walk to the facilities. the site was beautiful, lovely bar/restaurant and family friendly. Beautiful area with a shi6walk to the beach and plenty of walks around.

We had a lovely short break over the festive period. The cabin had everything we needed, was spacious, comfortable and cosey. We loved the xmas decorations and welcome treats were a lovely suprise. We were a little disappointed at the lack of atmosphere at the shorefield entertainment and clubhouse, having visited previous years we can see how its changed over time. However, we still had a great time and enjoyed the woodland walks and walks to the beach. Communication with the owner was excellent, very helpful snd responsive. The enclosed garden/terrace area was good for our dog. Thanks for a wonderful stay 😀

Beautiful house and amazing swimming pool. We loved staying here as it was so relaxing and peaceful.

The Cottage is in a great location with fantastic views of Cowes Harbour and across the Solent. The property is clean and tidy. The main bedroom has a balcony and great views. The other bedrooms are clean and functional. We enjoyed having our breakfast in the sun on the deck overlooking the harbour. The kitchen is as new with everything we needed. We stayed during festival week and may book again.

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

We found the house to be impeccably clean and comfortable. The large hot tub seemed brand new and the dart board and pool table were put to good use. TVs in all bedrooms. Very well stocked kitchen with high quality pans etc. lovely American fridge with ice/crushed ice and cold water. Great location. We would definitely stay again. Thanks so much

This house is a great base to explore Hayling Island. You can walk to the beach and local walking trails. The shower was good, we parked the car and left it there all week. Home is bright , airy and modern. Comfortable bed and washing facilities and garden/ washing line. Nicola was very helpful and we recommend this highly. Never been to Hayling Island before but fell in love with the wildness, untouched beauty of the coastline and sea swimming...

Fantastic location especially for walking the dogs, there was a very local park area and beaches very near. Enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and amazing sunny spot. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely come and stay again :) thank you

Reuben was the perfect host. The house was accurately described with everything needed for an enjoyable stay The location was great with easy and short walking time to the beach with it's cafes. Only 5 mins walk to the pretty little vlllage of Alvestoke with pub, shop, post office, cafe and Indian restaurant. Perfect.

A fabulous stay! Beds and sofa were super comfy, everything was super clean and the garden was so lovely. It was a gery short stay but would love to visit again.
