Waterfront vacation rentals in Vale of Glamorgan

This was our first visit to Cardiff in many years and the apartment was lovely and spacious. The location was walkable to the city center and Cardiff Bay. Amanda was a great host and very welcoming and responsive. We will definitely come back!

Lovely flat at a great location. Only a few minutes' walk to Cardiff town centre so getting food was really easy. Our ground floor flat was comfortable and had everything the 2 of us needed. It was nice to have a microwave and kitchenette so we had the option of eating in, glad we chose this over a large chain hotel for this very reason. On-street parking was easy, not too expensive during the day and free after 6pm. Will stay again the next time we're in Cardiff. We had a very comfortable stay at this property, and would definitely stay again if we revisited the area. It was a great location- within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The property was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for our stay- including for our two year old. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Thanks for a great stay.

After a small glitch at start (not owners fault but was sorted immediately) we loved the 2 bedroom apartment! It's just around the corner from restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. There is 2 balconies plus a rooftop terrace. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has all you will need if you want to cook a meal.We had great communication with owner who was gracious enough to check and make sure we had everything we needed. Our first trip to Cardiff but will definitely be back! If I had one small thing to complain about the sofa in living area not very comfortable but I'm only nit picking on that..Thank you Kimberly for our brilliantly few days away!

Huw is a fantastic host. Really proactive and friendly. The apartment really is a great place to stay. Super comfortable bed, under floor heating and has everything you need for a great stay. Sitting out on the balcony with the beautiful view over the river was so peaceful! Highly recommend this Huws when staying in Cardiff, would definitely book again. Thanks

We felt very welcome and comfortable here. There were all the little home comforts to make for a lovely stay. Channelle was very responsive and also accommodating for our needs. The apartment has beautiful views from the balcony out over the water. Beds were comfy and the bathrooms were pristine. I would definitely recommend a stay here. Thanks you xz

Joy is a nice lady who changes her hairstyle everyday or twice a day. You can cook in her house as long as you remember switch off the fire. Cardiff is a small place, which means even Joy's house is not in the town, you can still walk to the town in 20 minutes. Just don't bother taking the train.

The place was cosy and felt like home. Very clean and welcoming. I felt like it was a best choice than going for a hotel rooms and of course very reasonable. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

Brilliant stay. Excellent value and lovely location. Great for visiting Cardiff but also was able to drive to beautiful country side easily. would definitely stay again and recommend. It was great meeting Stuart, his partner, and of course his cat!

Paul the host was very welcoming, provided lots of information on the area and made us feel very welcome. He has a lovely home and a very friendly, beautiful house cat called Toby. Recommend this place to stay 👍

What an amazing apartment! It’s even better than it looks in the pictures. We had a 3-night mid-week stay in winter and it was warm, quiet, and peaceful and we loved looking out over Swansea Bay. The apartment is beautifully designed and furnished, and a real joy to stay in. We ate locally at The Mermaid Café Bar & Restaurant, Full of Graze Café, and Nishimura Japanese Restaurant and they were all good. The Mumbles promenade is just outside the front door, across the road, and it’s great for walks. We were able to find spaces in the free parking at the front of the building. There are 33 steps from the road up to the apartment, some of it up a narrow external staircase, which is worth bearing in mind if mobility is an issue. Overall, a really wonderful stay, and hoping to come back soon!

Wayne and Jan’s place was absolutely wonderful. The space was beautifully furnished/ presented and very well appointed. The position of the apartment is not only stunning but also convenient for walking in to town, getting on to the coastal path from the door and for short drives to other parts of the Gower that are that little bit further afield. The Hosts communicated clearly, were friendly and offered plenty of recommendations Would highly recommend

Absolutely loved it here! We were visiting family in the area and usually stay at a hotel but thought we’d try something different for a change . The lock box was easy to use to get the keys and enter the building. It smelled lovely as you walked in everywhere was pristine it was like home from home. Everything I could have thought of was there to use and Shona was very responsive when we needed to message her . We definitely will be back again as this was a great base for the shops and train station.
