The Walled Garden

JoanneRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay at the Walled Garden was wonderful from start to finish. The property was so clean, the beds were super comfy, and it had everything that you would require for a break away from home. Charlotte, the host, was lovely and very responsive when we needed anything. There is also a little peacock that visits daily and is super friendly. We will certainly be back. It was one of the best Air B and Bs that we have stayed in, and we would recommend it to any of our friends.

The Loft at Duffryn Mawr Cottages

JoanneRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My family and I have stayed in two of these pretty cottages. Each were beautifully decorated and well presented, spotlessly clean, gorgeous bathrooms with full baths, kitchens were very comprehensive and each cottage I stayed in, even had a washing machine. The beds were extremely comfortable and we’ve slept in 8 of them. Rosie was just lovely. Friendly, easy-going, and noting was too much trouble. Rosie responded to my messages quickly and comprehensively. -Even when I asked if they could spare a drop of milk for my cup of tea. Gardens were well kept and extremely pretty. Local pubs were all great. We enjoyed a gorgeous meal at one, which Rosie actually called up and booked for us. I highly recommend these beautiful cottages and this lovely host. 15mins away from Barry Island for entertainment, yet situated in the most beautiful and peaceful surrounding Wales has to offer.
Aerial view showcases the spacious farmhouse nestled in a lush green landscape, with the coastline visible nearby. The property is surrounded by a well-maintained garden and designated parking for six cars, while the cliff-top heritage path runs along the shoreline.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house during February half term. The house had everything we needed for 10 adults and 6 children. The children absolutely loved the bunk beds and playing hide and seek. I was impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was and the homely feel to the place. Everyone really enjoyed our stay and I’d definitely recommend.

Gorgeous Cartws close to centre

ReeceRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Laura and Wil were very accomodating hosts with great communication. Despite having early issues with the internet, these were resolved quickly and they stayed in contact throughout. Our only slight gripe would be that some of the kitchenware and pillows could benefit from being replaced and parking can be difficult at peak times. Would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a short break in Cardiff.
The exterior of the cottage is adorned with a vibrant display of climbing roses and lush greenery. Sunlight streams over the stone pathway leading towards the inviting entrance, framed by flowering plants that create a serene and welcoming environment.

The lovely stay in the laundry cottage enhanced our holiday experience tremendously. The gardens are beautiful, the pool a joy to swim in and the surroundings peaceful and quaint. We are looking forward to coming back soon for more exploring.

Chestnut House

I booked the home for my relatives to stay whilst they were down to attend my wedding close by. The house was beautiful and immaculate-huge spacious rooms-the photos don’t do them justice! The host was kind enough to prepare some treats for my relatives, which I’m sure the kids were thankful for! Would definitely look to book again in the future if we’re visiting around the area :)
