Waterfront vacation rentals in Uvita

the stay was very pleasant, however the location does not help much as it was very solitary and in the evenings the setting looked very dangerous and there is only one restaurant nearby and a super, the access to the beach was very risky, but I repeat the stay was very good

Amazing Location and Fabulous Condo! Beautiful jungle, lots of wildlife, and just a short walk to a breathtaking beach. The location is perfect! We saw monkeys, toucans, frogs, huge butterflies, and the most adorable baby sloth without leaving the property. The condo was spacious. clean, and beautiful. The views made you feel a part of nature. The kitchen was a great space to cook in. The bedrooms had more closet space than you would ever need. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. The Airbnb staff was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. Gregory, Andres, and Chris promptly answered every little question. They even helped us order pizza and arrange for a local car rental (that they had delivered to the condo)! We also used a great car service to get us from SJO to and from the condo (I Love Travel Costa Rica). Twice we walked down the beach and ate at this quaint outdoor restaurant. This place has absolutely EVERYTHING. Simply a wonderful experience!

I fell in love with this Airbnb and wish I could live here year round! It is comfy, cute, clean, cozy, and is exactly what I needed to be. There are thoughtful and intentional details and decorations throughout the property, a well stocked kitchen, and I slept so well in a comfy bed with room-darkening curtains. The property itself is beautifully maintained with gorgeous gardens and I enjoyed morning swims in the saltwater pool. Very close to Playa Chaman, great small grocery store near by, I walked and biked everywhere. What really stood out are the owners, Rita and Ronald anticipated my every need. They helped me with currency exchange, bike rentals, local recommendations, answered all of my questions quickly, and so much more. They embody the true heart and spirit of Pura Vida and Tico life. It was a joy to experience. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning myself in the near future. ¡Gracias por todo!

Our stay at this property was absolutely incredible, with a breathtaking view! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. The concierge was welcoming, and we appreciated for a hot shower and fresh towels. The pool area was stunning and well-maintained.However, there are a few areas that could be improved. It good to have coffee or tea for guest, and we were surprised to find there was no iron. Additionally, some house rules were unexpected, such as the prohibition on drones and no BBQs, despite them being shown in the photos. Although the balcony is shared with other guests, we were fortunate to have it mostly to ourselves. The bar chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable, and there was only one patio chair for the two of us. We also felt a bit uncomfortable with the presence of several cameras on the property, including one right of our apartment. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was fantastic! We would definitely stay again!

Neil and team were excellent. While we weren't greeted physically (rainy season), Andrey made sure to reach out and ensure we were ready for arrival. He was responsive and quick. The property itself is great as there is a nice pool in the back surrounded by a luscious green landscape. Inside was well clean, cool and comforting. The property is located a few minutes walk from Playa Uvita (Uvita Beach), which was great for our visits to the beach and the Whale's Tail. I highly recommend Neil's property and will look to stay here when visiting Uvita again.

Carlos is a fantastic host. We had a fantastic time in his wonderful home, like a nest in a greenery scene but with all the confident you need. Communication was very smooth. Carlos provided us with some very nice recommendations. Pura Vida !

We loved our stay here at Sara’s place and hope to return soon! This location is perfect there is so much to do and everything you could need within a short drive. Everything in the house was as advertised and worked perfectly. We wish we owned this house!!

Great place to stay in CR. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Home is secluded but a close drive to town and the beach.

I can’t even put into words how special this stay was!! Our favourite Airbnb to date! Erika is so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The house, the views and the surrounding forest OMG. So so so beautiful - we saw monkeys, coatis, agoutis, toucans and countless other animals. Erika, thank you so much for a wonderful stay full of special memories that we will never forget. We already can’t wait to come back again one day!! ☺️

My boyfriend & I stayed at Sigal’s place for several nights and we absolutely loved it! Waking up every morning to the views of the jungle & the ocean was magical. We could watch the surf from above and determine when was the perfect time to paddle out. The house was extremely clean and fully equipped with everything you could want! We appreciated the beach towels & chairs and especially all the kitchen items, it was a great space to cook. We also had a little iguana friend come visit us every morning on the balcony! Having our coffee outside was lovely. It was also nice to have AC and a parking spot right next to the villa. The security guards were also very friendly! Sigal gave us some recommendations for the area and we had fun exploring (dominicalito is breathtaking). One thing to note is that if you are a very sensitive sleeper like me, bring a hefty eye mask—since there are only sheer curtains on the windows, you’ll wake up at 5am everyday like I did. Otherwise we loved it!!!

Big cabañas with AC, a pool and a shared kitchen which is great for communication and social contacts. Very nice hosts and family. Having a car is a plus due to the long road to the beach/supermarkt, but they rent bikes for a fair price, too.

excellent attention from Victor and Gabriela (I think that's what the girl was called) , super attentive to stay and comfort, excellent everything!

I wasn't aware that the kitchen is shared but it was great! The hosts are really responsive and supportive and didn't have any troubles.

Everything is very good and it's like in the photos and the atmosphere is also nice since there is a collision of cultures and you can get along well

Beautiful macaws in the tree right outside the hotel! The owners are a very nice family and live on-site for support if needed. The communal kitchen was actually kept very clean, and each room has a designated section in the fridge and a box for non-refrigerated foods. The communal space was a nice way to meet others in the hotel. It isn’t a very walkable area, but that’s Uvita in general, so I’d recommend having a car or renting a scooter in the town (the hotel has plenty of parking spots). I worked remotely while there and the wifi was good for video calls.

great communication from Victor. the second bedroom is a loft. I guess I didn't see that. for me it was a little difficult because my friend wakes up early and I could hear every single thing she was doing downstairs. beautiful views. it's do cool to see the jungle and then the ocean past it. the road up to the property is a bit rough we had a Jeep so it was no problem and maybe no problem for another car but I think a Jeep is a great idea around there. everything is within 1 hour driving which was wonderful. the road was fantastic. Highway 34. definitely make sure you take the toll road on the way to the place. it saves almost an hour and it doesn't cost more than $6. a major grocery store is pretty far away because they haven't finished building the one close to the apartment so I would definitely stock up on the way . all in all, was a great vacation. I would definitely come back and stay at Victor's Place again. also he had air conditioning in every room which was so appreciated

If we could give the Macaws 10 stars we would. This is the best AirBnB and one of the best accommodation experiences that we have ever had. Our entire vacation was great, largely because of the Macaws. Yes, the beds, location and rooms are excellent but what sets the Macaws out is the outdoor kitchen/dining area. For travellers who wished to hang out there to share stories, a meal, play a game, etc. it was the perfect setting. If you didn't want to, you could stay in your room like any other place and no one would bother you. The pool was also nice and refreshing. Finally, on a few occasions we saw big Macaws in the almond tree. Thanks Victor and Family!
