Waterfront vacation rentals in Uvita

the stay was very pleasant, however the location does not help much as it was very solitary and in the evenings the setting looked very dangerous and there is only one restaurant nearby and a super, the access to the beach was very risky, but I repeat the stay was very good

Beautiful place! So serene in the middle of a national park. We enjoyed taking a stroll down to the beach every day, looking for wildlife and ultimately relaxing. The house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed! The area had a lot to offer and we checked out some of places recommended to us which we enjoyed. This area has a lot to offer without feeling touristy.

Very clean, quiet accommodation with a beautiful well-maintained garden, well located 10 minutes walk from the beach and supermarket. The pool is a real plus. The building is very new, it's a shame it's poorly soundproofed: you can hear the neighbors of other homes as soon as they move or open a door. Ronald welcomed us very warmly and advised us.

Our stay at this property was absolutely incredible, with a breathtaking view! The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped. The concierge was welcoming, and we appreciated for a hot shower and fresh towels. The pool area was stunning and well-maintained.However, there are a few areas that could be improved. It good to have coffee or tea for guest, and we were surprised to find there was no iron. Additionally, some house rules were unexpected, such as the prohibition on drones and no BBQs, despite them being shown in the photos. Although the balcony is shared with other guests, we were fortunate to have it mostly to ourselves. The bar chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable, and there was only one patio chair for the two of us. We also felt a bit uncomfortable with the presence of several cameras on the property, including one right of our apartment. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was fantastic! We would definitely stay again!

You can never get enough of the view! Amazing place and surroundings. Totally recommend this place to stay. Friendly hosts! We loved our stay, we will definitely come back. It is very up on a hill so don’t expect to walk to town center Uvita, you will need a car (4x4 on rainy season). But the drive is totally worth it.

The location was so pleasant - it was quiet and private but yet walkable to beach, restaurants and shops. There is a nice easy vibe in the community. We felt very safe. The house was very comfortable and spacious for 3 singles. We enjoyed the deck and pool. The hosts were very responsive and helped us find the farmers market on short notice.

Very nice house Super beach close Dominical and quepos are short drive for nice options of groceries and activity! Second Time there not the last for sure🤍

Wonderful place to stay! The views are incredible, highly recommend. The house is well built in the side of mountain. The outdoor space is setup very well for sun or rain, spacious and relaxing. All doors are structured with solid doors and screens that when used properly keep insects out. The instructions say this, but put the GSP of Hotel El Castillo into navigation, and this house is 50 meters past. We able to easily find the house based on the photos in the listing. The property manager was communicative and very responsive.

Our stay was just wonderful from beginning to end. This is a very special location near to the busy beach life of Dominical but just far enough away for peace and quiet. As time went on we treasured the serenity, the bird life, the sound of the river at night, and the numerous swimming spots just a short walk away. For 4 people the cabin was spacious, well furnished, and the kitchen had all we need to prepare nice meals. Clara added some welcome personal touches like swim goggles, books, and games. She was an excellent host and was readily available for questions and needs. Finally the new washer/dryer combo was just excellent! We hope to return again to this delightful spot.

The house has everything that you need, is surrounded by nature and very private. Great communication about Check-in and everything Else with Sara. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pinar’s place!! We were so sad to leave. Pinar and Kenny greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around the house. They were super nice and gave some great local recommendations. The house was a very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The AC’s in every room were life savers as we were there a few particularly hot days. The pool was also a welcome relief! The garden was beautiful and the area peaceful. Pinar gave clear instructions on how to get to the house (which is tucked away in nature). Uvita is the perfect town with beautiful beaches, good food, supermarkets, kind people, and world class nature. We can’t wait to go back! And we’ll definitely stay here again next time we do :)

Big cabañas with AC, a pool and a shared kitchen which is great for communication and social contacts. Very nice hosts and family. Having a car is a plus due to the long road to the beach/supermarkt, but they rent bikes for a fair price, too.

I wasn't aware that the kitchen is shared but it was great! The hosts are really responsive and supportive and didn't have any troubles.

Everything is very good and it's like in the photos and the atmosphere is also nice since there is a collision of cultures and you can get along well

Spectacular apartment with lots of space, very well decorated and equipped. Playa Ballena is a short walk away, and is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, very natural and with few people. Very convenient location, just minutes away from all the restaurants and supermarkets, but away from the tumult of Uvita downtown.

Beautiful macaws in the tree right outside the hotel! The owners are a very nice family and live on-site for support if needed. The communal kitchen was actually kept very clean, and each room has a designated section in the fridge and a box for non-refrigerated foods. The communal space was a nice way to meet others in the hotel. It isn’t a very walkable area, but that’s Uvita in general, so I’d recommend having a car or renting a scooter in the town (the hotel has plenty of parking spots). I worked remotely while there and the wifi was good for video calls.

Wonderful place. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money. Million dollar view, lots of wildlife to see as well.

If we could give the Macaws 10 stars we would. This is the best AirBnB and one of the best accommodation experiences that we have ever had. Our entire vacation was great, largely because of the Macaws. Yes, the beds, location and rooms are excellent but what sets the Macaws out is the outdoor kitchen/dining area. For travellers who wished to hang out there to share stories, a meal, play a game, etc. it was the perfect setting. If you didn't want to, you could stay in your room like any other place and no one would bother you. The pool was also nice and refreshing. Finally, on a few occasions we saw big Macaws in the almond tree. Thanks Victor and Family!
