My husband & I truly enjoyed this bed & breakfast! Breakfast was included every morning which helped save us time in the mornings (shout out to Teddy, Dama, & Lettika for taking great care of us during breakfast each morning), the hammock by our room had a wonderful view of the jungle and wildlife, the pool was very beautiful & relaxing, and the beach was only a short walk away. There was great signage to get to the bed & breakfast from the road to ensure we found the property, and the check-in/check-out process was super easy. The room itself had a very large bathroom & shower, and the AC was very much appreciated with the heat & humidity along the Pacific Coast. Altogether, the property is super beautiful and very private. We definitely recommend staying here!

Scott's place is gorgeous - even more beautiful than the photos. We really wanted to stay longer but sadly (for us) it was already fully booked. Our cabina was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable, the wifi worked great, the pool was wonderful, and we loved being surrounded by all of the plants. We also loved how very well set up Scott's place is, with a drying rack for wet beach gear that can sit out on the covered front porch of the cabina, a well-equipped small kitchenette inside the cabina as well as the big outdoor kitchen, and also a safe box inside the cabina. We didn't bother with a rental car and found it very easy to walk to everywhere we needed to go: it's just a few minutes walk to the nearest entrance to the national park and about 15 minutes walk to the main entrance, the one from which the boat tours leave. Scott himself is lovely - very warm, friendly, helpful, kind and available to guests. We were sad to leave and would love to go back.

The pool that everyone is talking about indeed adores the overall picture! What a view with the animals around you. Playing Toekans, a baby-colibri who gets flying lesson, a Kinkajou who comes to watch novelty. The view from the terrace is just as beautiful. The apartment is clean and equipped with all advertised comforts. Spacious shower with warm water and especially - finally - a good mattress. To lock up the hostess; what a warm woman who really wants to make it to your liking! The air conditioning did not work during the stay, but no one could be arranged for repair due to a holiday week. However, I know the host went above and beyond, so it's no different then and it will just work again for the next guest! 5/5

Really lovely place to stay, super friendly, caring hosts and Yudith makes delicious wholesome homemade food. I was feeling unwell whilst I was staying here and Yudith went above and beyond to make me feel cared for and looked after, even making fresh herbal teas for me from the garden to being to my room. I would definitely come back, it's very reasonably priced and high quality accommodation. Highly recommend!

The boutique hotel is very secluded which gives a great vibe. The room was not big but it had everything we needed. It was close to the beach and nice restaurants. I would definately recommend the hotel and would go back again.

Great place to stay in Ojochal! Bed was very comfortable, the outdoor space was amazing. Was very short drive to the beach, walkable distance to the ojochal waterfall (all uphill if you hike), and many restaurants nearby. 5 stars, would definitely stay again!!

Gorgeous place close to the beach and park entrance. We enjoyed our A/C room and the beautiful jungle surroundings. We visited three restaurants close by, a vegan spot for a yummy lunch, hornitos for the best empanadas ever!! And Jafa for ice cream. If you’re on the local bus don’t get off on the highway and pay 3000 colones for a taxi, there is a stop just 800 meters away from the Airbnb. If you’re on the bus that stops at the big station we’d recommend paying for a taxi as it’s a 30 minute walk.

It was a lovely experience at the property. The room and bathroom are a good size. The pool and common area were really nice, clean, and welcoming. Unfortunately, it was thundering in the afternoon, so we were forced to spend the day and evening in the accommodation. Still being in the pool in the rain, and then listening to the thunderstorm on the sofa was just so cozy. We were also lucky with the "roommates".
