Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our lodges are fully insulated have double glazing central heating, perfect for all year round 03 Lodges sleep up to 6 guests. They are well equipped with ensuite, television sofa and full kitchen inside. We are surrounded by lovely countryside but also only a 10 minute walk into Long Melford which has lots of pubs and restaurants the Lodges, our own design. You will not find anything like them in the country, you may fish the lake or swim in it

The kingfisher Studio is one of two accommodations on site. The other being the Hare’s retreat ( not in view of each other) The Kingfisher has independent access and garden area. Located 150m off the A134, opposite Nowton park, and only 1.5 miles from the historical town of Bury St Edmunds. Surrounded by countryside, we have approx 200m of river frontage and a good sized field and garden . The Annex has a double bedroom with kingsize bed, kitchen/diner living room with a sofa bed.
