Welcome guests, enjoy the many attractions of the Upper Peninsula less or more than an hour away. Curtis is less than 5 miles. Maple Leaf is nested in a private country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Depending what season, it is you can boat, fish, sled to the trails on South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. Access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails head.

Amazing fisherman's paradise. Burt lake access across the road & boat launch is just 1/2 mile away. Lots of parking. Lots of space inside to get ready for a day on the lake and for prepping family meals. This place is ideal for humble fishing families looking for a warm bed, hot shower, good meal, and a great time in the woods! We are off the beaten path, 15 minutes to town. Unfortunately, there is NO TV or WiFi, and cell service can be spotty. Perfect place to turn off electronics & get away!

And when you're ready for something a little bigger, Lake Michigan is a short drive; along with world famous Legs Inn (closes mid Oct) as are the "big" cities of Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Mackinaw City! Walking distance to Moosejaw restaurant when you don't want to go anywhere! Incredible fall color change. Be prepared to not want to leave!
