Beachfront vacation rentals in Upper Peninsula of Michigan

We loved the separate building with the space to hang out and the hot tub with views of the bay. We enjoyed the fully stocked breakfast bar and coffee makers with lots of coffee pod choices. We had 2 large table spaces. We played cards at one and put together puzzles at the other one. We had plenty of bed choices and our group was able to sleep great.

Staying here was great! The host had a lovely gift bag waiting for us upon arrival and the home was so beautiful. 10/10 would recommend!

Matthew’s place was the perfect rental for a work trip with my two dogs. The patio and backyard areas are fully fenced, and my dogs were able to safely run free. The house was very clean, with a well equipped kitchen, and extremely comfortable bed! The location was excellent too, very close to restaurants and shops. Will definitely be back on my next work trip, and also to vacation in Northern Michigan.

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Wow! This home is beautiful. The large windows brilliantly showcase the unique beach scape while being directly on Lake Superior but the private beach access is the cherry on top. The home (and property) was larger than we expected and was cozy from top to bottom. We were so happy to bring our kids and dog, and both had the best time exploring. The sunsets and sunrises are unforgettable at this home. We had a couple clear nights and the stars were shining so bright. One in a million type of views/experience. Location was great, as we skied Lutsen Mountains with a 10 minute drive, a State park hike close by, and went to Grand Marais easily. We’d love to return soon and extend our stay next time!

First of all , can’t say enough about how great Pat and Wendy are! They went above and beyond what I would ever expect from hosts and made sure my girlfriend and I had an awesome trip. Great people and a great spot! The Funky Beach House itself was awesome and the location was even cooler than I expected.

This was just what we were looking for. We wanted a landing place to sleep and shower and eat between out adventures and this was the perfect place. It was quiet and relaxing. We even got to see the three legged fox.

This is the only house I have ever gone back to and I've been there 4 times. You will not find a winter waterfront view like this anywhere else. The home is spacious, quiet, and well kept.

We loved staying at Lindsay’s property. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. With 2 children this was a perfect location to ski in and ski out. The space is very small, it is a studio, not a 1-bedroom condo, there is a huge, comfy king bed and a very good pull out sofa bed, but they are pretty tightly packed into the space. The owners provided games and books which was a nice touch. The bedding and the towels were beautifully soft and clean. The kitchen cabinets are very high up, we needed a step stool to get to any pots, pans and cups. This was available, we didn’t make a big dea out of it, we made it work, and really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this stay and definitely come again.

After a very busy prior week and weekend this cozy stay was just what we needed. The view of the Lake was simply amazing. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Traverse City. We will definitely book a stay at this location again.

This may be one of my new favorite Air BNB spots! It is very comfortable and close to a lot of spots in Traverse City. The beach view was also very nice to look at. Kara is a great host and provided us with clear check in and check out instructions. Will definitely be visiting again!

Beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. Well decorated with no cliche beach theme, lots of natural sunlight. View from the balcony was beautiful. We’ve stayed at a few places at this location and this is our favorite so far.

Cannot say enough great things about this space and Michael! Amazing space. Fell in love with TC! Will be back....and definitely stay here!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

Absolutely the perfect place to find your inner peace and re-energize! The Nest is exactly that. It is so warm, comfortable and secure that it just so serene. The view is almost undesirable as it took my breath away and brought happy tears to my eyes. As a 60 year old mom of 2 amazing kiddos 11 and 9 who are both Neurodivergent it was the best medicine for my heart and soul. We will be back hopefully many times as both of my kiddos felt right at home. My husband as well was in awe of this Treasure I was able to find. Thank you Charlie and Suzy for allowing our little family enjoy something that never would have imagine as possible for us. it was heaven on earth.

The house was as described. Beautiful fenced in back yard for dogs to run around. Beautiful view of sunrise over tge water. Nice private beach with dock. Very open layout. We were there with 5 adults and three dogs. When we come back to Traverse City this would be the place I'd stat.

Had a wonderful stay with plenty of room for our group of 6 couples. Lots of space to accommodate everyone. Plenty of parking. Troy was very quick to respond with any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place for the winter or summer would love to come back again with the family

Even in March, you can’t beat walking through the back yard dunes straight onto the Lake Superior beach. The house has great space and splits well for 2 families to each have some of their own space. Tons of toys and games for the kiddos too!

Breathtaking views for a lovely winter getaway! Plentiful surroundings for snowshoeing along the lake, through the wooded yard and enjoying deer sightings. Hugh was always responsive and friendly.

Amazing hosts!! So gracious and friendly. Duane and his wife really went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home. I can't say enough good things about our experience. They really are the definition of super hosts!! They thought of absolutely everything! And the view will take your breath away!

Trestin was an outstanding host. He was knowledgeable about the activity our vacation was built around, and gave us perfect tips for timing, parking, and planning. When our vacation took an unexpected and unfortunate turn right at the end, he extended his hand to offer help was able to assist us in figuring out what needed to be done. We would reserve with him again upon our next visit.

Angeline’s place was so cute and clean and I loved all of the decor and special touches. We enjoyed sitting down by the water and just taking in the peace and quiet and sunshine. ☀️ The bed was super comfortable so we slept great and she offered plenty of clean towels and wash clothes in the bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked which helped me immensely while preparing meals. We found several beaches in the area for rockhounding and also stopped at Ocqueoc Falls on the way to the cottage. Thank you so much for making our trip special. ☺️
