Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Uplyme

Helen’s places was one of the most comfortable and well equipped places I have stayed in. A short distance from the costal path and within walking distance of Brixham harbour. I would highly recommend it.

Jo was an excellent host! Beautiful little cottage, perfect! with everything we needed for the stay. Jo lit the fire ready for our arrival, can’t recommend enough! Thanks Jo, it was a wonderful stay.

Fairfield House was the perfect house for a Christmas get together for our two families. There was plenty of space for 11 adults. The large dining room table and spacious lounge worked well for dinners and game playing & the generous welcome pack was much appreciated as was the hot tub. A short walk to the shops and pubs in Williton and a 5 minute drive to Watchet. Thanks David & Shruti for a great few days away.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Lovely house, very well equipped and lots of nice little touches, like great coffee, wood burner ready to light and nice bathroom products. Our dogs were immediately at home, the garden is a great size. Great clear instructions for arrival and departure. The location is beautiful, superb views and incredibly quiet and private. Mo is a superb host. We'll definitely be back.

I’d never arranged a gathering with this many people before, so I was worried how it would turn out, but I needn’t have been, everything was fantastic from the get-go. The instructions to find the house were flawless, and there was plenty of parking space for us all. None of the bedrooms felt cramped, even though there were so many of us, and there were plenty of bathrooms dotted around. The kitchen is vast, with multiple fridges and a great oven, and we really enjoyed being able to eat together around the massive dining room table. The living room could accommodate all of us, and much fun was had with the pool and table football tables, as well as the hot tub. Throughout our stay our hosts were invisible unless we needed them, at which point they replied swiftly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large party, thanks for having us!

We had a fantastic week, the house was perfect for our family, the rooms were huge and the location and views were stunning. There's so many lovely places to visit within a short drive. I couldn't recommend the house and hosts highly enough.

Throughout the whole process, Kristin was an excellent host! Helpful and prompt before booking, welcoming and informative when checking in, a beautifully presented property that was worth the costs. Really looking forward to my next stay booked in the coming weeks.

The house had plenty of space was very clean and is in a quiet residential location. It suited our needs perfectly and all went well with the booking from start to finish. Thank you and we hope to stay again in the future.

This holiday home was very clean and welcoming, Tracey &Richard was very welcoming we got there very early, i phone Tracey too ask ifcan leave our car and she said come inside and drop our thing's off , Richard gave us the keys and we walked down to the beach, Came back later to find Tracy have left us, tea,coffee, milk and biscuits 😋. Well located for centre of town and also the hospitals. A really lovely comfortable well equipped and stylish apartment. Anna Lisa was very responsive to any queries responding straight away which was great .

Perfection. Six weeks in this wonderful apartment with its cosy rooms and beautiful views were not enough. It looks even better in reality than it does in the photos. I was there on my own and felt totally secure at all times of day and night, and the area has so many tasty eateries from 7.30am (Cornish Bakery) till late (Rise). And going to sleep to the pulse of the waves is a delight. All the arrival and appliance instructions are helpfully detailed and accessible. I cannot fault a thing. Do be aware that there is a narrow-ish staircase up to the apartment (no lift in the historic - iconically magnificent! - building) - it's perfectly serviceable (and lit), but it's worth being prepared for the initial lugging upstairs of your belongings! I recommend a pastry from the bakery to reward your labours. Thank you so much, Suzanne and Pete - I would come back tomorrow if I could!

The accommodation was fantastic. Our hosts, Christina and Anthony, were so friendly and helpful. They could not have done more to make our stay any the more enjoyable. We highly recommend a stay at Church View.

Loved, loved, loved this magical place. Lots of interesting furniture, super comfy bed, our own little courtyard and entrance to the park just through the garden gate. Very friendly welcome. Highly recommend.

Jose’s place was perfect for a few days away. So close to shops, walks and restaurants. Comfortable bed, lovely bath and interesting interior!

The west wing is in a beautiful valley, near lots of walks, beaches and places to eat. The owner gave us a really warm welcome and set us up with everything we needed for our one year old. The place itself is beautiful and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Cute, cosy and a lovely flat! Everything as described . It was spotless clean, the kitchen had everything one would need. Our favourite feature was the wood burner, it made the atmosphere so romantic, we didn’t want to leave the place! Heated up the whole flat so much too! Sam was very responsive to our queries, provided a lot of information throughout stay. It’s an easy walk down to the town centre, takes about 10 mins - we’re fast walkers. Coming back is up hill, it was fine for us as it was a short walk by beautiful houses. Overall a great stay. Thank you Sam!

Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

We loved the house, so full of character. Right in the heart of Topsham with lovely walks to the estuary and within walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. We cycled into Exeter along a very easy cycle path. We would highly recommend this property.

This house is absolutely beautiful! It truly lives up to everything it promises. The amenities are top-notch, and everything is exactly as described. The location is ideal, situated in a peaceful, quiet area that offers both comfort and convenience. I truly believe David’s home “calls you” when your soul needs peace as well as David’s intuitive advice. I have never stayed at a place where the host is nearby (never mind in the same property) and yet, at David’s house I felt extremely comfortable and safe from the start. The house, amazingly located at the feet of Tor’s grounds, is beautiful inside out. It has everything I needed for a pleasant stay, such as, comfortable beds and linen, as well as, a large family kitchen to cook. Yet, its energy, specially in the living room, and garden grounded and soothed my soul. David, the host, gave us the space and privacy needed when one’s on a break. However, he also was a wonderful listening ear and amazing source of advice. Overall, it was a truly amazing stay and I cannot wait to return soon again.

very nice, clean, bright, and spacious area! dog friendly, which was great for us. Our dog was able to roam around freely and relax in different rooms without strangers as there were so many rooms to spend time I'm away from your bedroom. Anthony was very friendly, very responsive over app, and great with our dog who can be nervous around men. hottub was a great addition. no issues here! depending on the guests who stay with you depends on how loud or quiet the communal area is at night, we had a family playing muical doors at 10pm each night, but was very quiet and peaceful once everyone settled. Good location to travel around Devon! would definitely recommend it!

We had the most amazing time away as a family for Christmas. The place was perfect for our youngest member of the family under 1 years old, all the way to our grandparents. Everyone felt at home, with space to relax on their own and together. The walks around the estate were perfect for the mornings and the location was perfect for a short drive to the local towns and beaches. Thank you Emilie and all involved! One of our favourite Christmas' together.
