Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Union County

My family and I stayed their for the New Year. Courtney was very responsive and helpful telling us how to get to time square. The house was clean, and we had a very warm welcome with drinks in the fridge. I would recommend this place. would visit again

We had great time staying at Alice’s home. The place is clean n neat but more than that it had pleasant good feel happy vibe about it. Our kids had a ball hanging out n watching movies as each room had its own tv. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was in place from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedroom. We look forward to staying at Alice’s if we visit the area again.

We booked last minute and Sumana was very responsive and got back to all our messages right away. The place felt welcoming and inviting. It had all the necessary amenities, very clean and warm during a snow day. Beds were very comfortable. We definitely recommend Sumana’s place for anyone looking to stay in the Newark area. The train stain was only 7 mins away and there are convenience stores in every corner.

Olufunmilayo was our shining light after having issues with a prior booking. She was quick to respond and accommodate us, and also checked in with us throughout the stay. Host was very responsive. My family and I were there for 1 night to attend a funeral. The home was clean and presented as advertised. It is split into 2 apts which worked well for my family. The one disappointment was only having 2 TVs in the whole place that were located in the living rooms. Even still, I would definitely return!! (with my tablet this time) The neighborhood is sketchy but, if you have your own transportation; you will be fine. I ended up cooking dinner. I felt at home!! Thanks for having us Oneeba!!

To find accommodation where the pictures match the reality is relatively rare, but in this case they undersell the property. Really pleasant stay in this excellent apartment. The property is well furnished. The kitchen is well supplied with plenty of kitchen equipment to ensure that anything you can cook at home can also be prepared while away. The only potential downside to the living space is that one of the bedrooms is an internal room with no window. Having said that it’s well ventilated and my kids slept better than they do at home. The onsite facilities are excellent. All of the pictures match reality with the kids having fun in the soccer, basketball rooms and games lounge. The views from the apartment are spectacular with expansive views of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty in the distance from the terrace. Bottom line is that this is an exceptional property with great facilities well managed by attentive hosts. We will definitely return!

The barn is a perfect place for a family with children. Beautiful surroundings would enjoy a summer stay and use the pool. Micaela perfect host all requests were attended too quickly. Look forward to another stay on next visit to NJ.

The Apartment was in Greenpoint and the views were amazing although not exactly the Appartement in the pictures. It was as Food as the ohne Shown. It is a Bit rare that you only get to Know the adress in the last minute but it worked well. Maybe that is due to NYC Airbnb politics

Great location, easy to get to NYC!

It's a great place with lots of nice property amenities (pool, gym, walking path, dog park). You check in like at a hotel. The apartment is basically set up like a hotel, too. They give you enough dishwasher detergent for one or two loads of dishes, enough laundry detergent for a couple of loads of laundry, enough K-cups for two cups of coffee (but no sugar or creamer). There are no spices or specialty kitchenware at all. It is bare bones yet still adequate, with place settings for 6. It's easy to get to from the main highways, and it is fairly low-stress traffic-wise by NJ standards. The bed and bedding were comfortable. They should really provide a full-size broom and dustpan though. The tiny hand broom was driving me crazy by about day 3, and the regular vacuum didn't do very well on the non-rug parts. As a bonus, it also has a pretty good view, which was a little surprising. And the parking garage was handy when it was snowy and icy. People were exceptionally nice. I'll stay again.

We had a wonderful holiday stay at Jake’s beautifully maintained historic property. The house is spacious and fully updated, with a charming, rambling layout and bonus spaces like a separate garage and studio. The picturesque grounds, with unique water features and wooded areas, provided a serene backdrop for our visit. The kitchen was highly functional and perfect for preparing family meals, and the modern, spotless bathrooms added to the comfort. The standout was the master wing, offering privacy, style, a luxurious soaking tub, and a cozy gas fireplace in the bedroom. The quiet neighborhood is close to a great grocery store (5-6 minutes away). While there are no sidewalks, daylight walks were enjoyable, with nearby destinations to explore. Jake has created a welcoming, contemporary space within a historic home, making it an ideal home base for visiting family or friends. It’s a great place to gather, share meals, and enjoy quiet entertaining.

Great place to stay. This was the perfect place for our group to stay for a Christmas New York Trip. Host even had the house decorated for Christmas. Easy walk to the 154x bus that is a 25 min ride to the Port Authority. Street parking with a parking pay stall just around the corner at the library super easy and convenient.

Host was super accommodating after our original Airbnb didn’t work out due to lack of heat. This place was great! Heat worked well :) Clean. Beds were comfy. Very spacious and easy access to where we needed to go. Host was responsive. The pans were a bit scratched up and there was a strong cleaning product smell at check in but these were very minor. Street parking was easy to find. We would stay again!

Erica and Ryn were very friendly and helpful. The location was super convenient for us, close to where my wife’s mother lives and very close to several good restaurants, easy access to the highway, etc. The space itself is great! Very comfortable, and we loved the decor!! The bathroom is a little small, but still very serviceable. As others have said, the extras were very thoughtful…..waters, snacks, coffee, etc. We will definitely book again when we come back up to NJ!

Our stay was peaceful we had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. We did have a hiccup with parking during our first night as the parking is shared with other residents and we had a GMC Sierra which is a big truck, however the neighbors were friendly and we worked out the situation. Recommend a smaller vehicle for the parking as there is limited street parking as well. The neighbors were very friendly and understanding, there are lots of eateries that’s in walking distance and Baruch also took the time to check on us. Highly recommended!

Igal is a great host. He came to the train station to pick me up and drove me to the house. He showed everything. Previously, he answered all my questions and gave accurate instructions. The house itself is located at a very safe and quiet part of the town. The train station is in a walkable distance. The room is quite big. The bed is not that comfy but bearable for a shorter time. Bathroom is great. Coffee machine, microwave, a small oven and a small fridge are provided. And NYC is a 40 minute train ride!

I came to visit NYC and loved this spot! I easily took the train from Elizabeth station to penn station to get there. Bruna and the cleaning lady were very nice and responsive.Thanks again!

Amazing location with accessible station within a ten minute walk. The space was really clean and provided with everything you’ll really need along with a bunch of additional amenities like snacks and board games. The only complaint was how noisy the surroundings could be since you can hear people entering the complex or ambulances outside at night all the time. Would stay again
