Great deal! Host let me drop off my luggage early, and little kitchenette once you walk in had water and little snacks which I appreciated. Heater in the room was AWESOME for the chilly weather. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was a pleasant stay. This air bnb has multiple benefits such as being spacious, clean, and very private. Karen was welcoming and was there if we needed to coordinate parking, but also allowed for complete privacy and we mostly interacted in passing. The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood only a few streets away from main street montclair. When I needed to grab food it was a nice and easy 10 minute walk! The three rooms were clean and I found no issues with anything. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area!

Loved talking history of the area with Art. We went to the same high school there in Maplewood. Make sure to make time to speak with Art during your stay.

Romantic Artist Townhouse, 2 Bd Suite, 1 Bth

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is our 2nd Brownstone we've stayed in on Upper West side and if you enjoy vintage craftsmanship in an 1880's townhome, you'd enjoy this place. So aside from the history of such structures (creaky floor notwithstanding), we enjoyed our visit to NYC and our accommodations at Emily and Jenny's place. My wife and I had full access to the 3rd floor (two bedrooms adjoined by a Jack n/Jill "Bathroom" that was decommissioned retaining the antique sinks). The bathroom was down the hallway that was lined with memorabilia from various Broadway plays. The main floor (2nd level) was an open parlor for visiting, morning coffee or afternoon tea. The townhome is ideally situation between subway access as well as bus stops, so getting uptown, downtown or crosstown was easy. Central Park was just a block away as well as many great restaurants. I could go on, but Jenny was a super host, very discrete as well as very helpful. We really enjoyed our visit to NYC and this townhome.

We stayed two nights at Xinia’s place. The place is exactly the same as it is described. Everything was perfect except that by mistake our room was closed when we arrived but It was solved later on. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood from New Jersey with parking lot. Coffee and delicious pancakes for breakfast are waiting for you. It is 15min from journal square by bus and from there the PATH subway to NYC. Highly recommend it for your visit to nyc. We will come back

This was by far THE BEST Airbnb experience I have ever had hands down! 10/10! The location was perfect; very quiet and peaceful. The perfect location to have a little getaway from the hustle and bustle. When you go further up there’s lots of awesome restaurants and shops to choose from! Close to everything you need. The house was absolutely gorgeous. SO CLEAN!! So much attention to detail and beautiful home decor, something out of a home interior design magazine! The breakfast bar in the kitchen and fresh coffee every morning was such a plus. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tonja & Tracey’s place! They were amazing hosts, very communicative and attentive to make sure I was comfortable. Thank you so much for letting me stay in your beautiful home, I hope to be back again!

Wow. It’s been a little over a week since staying at Tonja’s place and I am still thinking about it. The word that keeps coming to mind when I think about Tonja’s bed and breakfast is luxury. Tonja and Tracy have curated a place of pure luxury just for us. From the decor to the color palette to the comfy robes and linen sheets to the eye mask at the bedside, satin pillowcases, deep bathtub, delicious teas, coffee, bagels, meditation room, and office space… I could go on and on. What I experienced at the Airbnb felt sacred and like a labor of love. The neighbor is peaceful and walkable. I had a lot of work to do in NYC, so if you need to go there for any reason, plan your route ahead of time—even if that means scheduling your taxi/uber/lyft ahead of time— because it will take you a while. I loved that the BnB was a nice distance from the hustle and bustle. TLDR; this place is pure luxury. Much gratitude to the hosts for making such a beautiful place available to us.
