Zen boutique is a little hidden gem. The resort is so beautifully done and shows the time and love Sarah and Ty have put into it. The staff are so so lovely, nothing is ever too much. Sarah was amazing with her suggestions of beaches and local recommendations. Thank you both for such a lovely stay, felt like a home from home!

The boutique is exactly like the pictures. Staff are amazing and the place is well maintained. We met the host/owner who helped us personally as well as his staff with recommendations, transportation, and honestly anything we needed. It was such an amazing stay for our time in Zanzibar. So close to Paje but still a bit away if you like to stay in a peaceful place but still be able to have a city near you. So accommodating, 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

We loved it! Such a nice and calm ambience and Mery was such a lovely host. We enjoyed the conversations with the other guests at breakfast and also enjoyed our own little space afterwards. The room is very clean and beautiful as well as the bathroom (prettier than the pictures if you ask me). So would definitely recommend and come back myself when returning to Zanzibar! Thankyou Dulla and Mery.

excellent place, away from the bustle and noise that other areas of the island can generate. It is literally in the forest of Jozani, although entrance to the park is not required for the accommodation. The monkeys chime out there. The workers are great. They are always pending, but not invading your space. They get involved with you in your hobbies and try to surprise you every now and then with some song, a bonfire for dinner, a nice table for breakfast or a padded sunbed in the nicest area depending on the time. The terrain is great.

The guest house we booked was closed, however they were very accomodating and took us to a local property and it was beautiful. We were upgraded from a twin to two doubles as they didn't have a twin, very happy with our stay and the service. Breakfast was also delicious!

We went 2 nights of our trip to simone and her family's house, and the truth is that it was fantastic. A hospitable people, they welcome you with open arms, they advised us of places to go, and the breakfast was great. very clean rooms and bathrooms and a re relax area, and great pool. thank you and we will see each other again

My stay here was great. It's a walking distance to the Kuza caves. It's on the beach and the pool is heated, so you can swim at night. Loved the sea view from the room. The breakfast is awesome too, with a variety. Overall it's a very good place I'd highly recommend.

Had a great stay. The rooms are really clean and cool. Great food in the restaurant and really nice staff. The tour operator Toby organized a fantastic dolphin watching and snorkeling trips!

Zanzistar is a very beautifully styled small guesthouse - very colourful and tropical in the day, and candlelit and very atmospheric in the evening. The rooms in the family house are similarly gorgeously designed and are spacious and very clean - Zanzistar is such an aesthetically pleasing place to stay! Fleur and her team are very personable and hugely helpful in every matter, and the food and drinks are some of the best we had in Zanzibar. Jambiani itself is an incredibly idyllic beach and much quieter than other parts of Zanzibar - in short a wonderful place to stay if you wish to be further off the tourist trail!

Fleur De Lis Villa was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. The only downside is there is no beach to swim at - you need to travel about 15 minutes away to get to one. That said, there are two lovely small pools and the grounds are small but very nice. The room was exactly what we needed and they went out of their way to make sure our two year old was comfortable as well. I would recommend anyone stay here who wants an out of the way spot to spend a relaxing few days.

Kusini Beach Bungalows is a paradise spot. The bungalows are cosy and clean. Pool and common areas are white sanded and beautifully designed. We played a local game with the staff. They help with all your circumstances. The kitchen is great and open all day.

The place is in front of the beach, very calm and peaceful. Food is good and there are some restaurants around if you like different foods. Juliana was very helpful to guide me for attractions and renting transportation. It is close to other beaches in the island and I could make day trip to Mnemba. Well worth the price.
