Malindi Guest house ll

EbenezerRating, 5 stars13 months ago
I had a smooth time in Zanzibar. This was my first time ever booking on Airbnb and I indeed loved the stay. Ginie, who was the host around was very friendly and assisted a lot during my stay. It is a walking distance from the Ferry and safe to walk balk home from the main road even after a night out. Loved every detail of it and look forward to staying there again after Ramadhan when I visit Zanzibar.

Deluxe Triple Sea View With Balcony

SamwelRating, 5 stars63 months ago
My stay here was great. It's a walking distance to the Kuza caves. It's on the beach and the pool is heated, so you can swim at night. Loved the sea view from the room. The breakfast is awesome too, with a variety. Overall it's a very good place I'd highly recommend.

Family House 7 pers

OliviaRating, 5 stars94 months ago
Zanzistar is a very beautifully styled small guesthouse - very colourful and tropical in the day, and candlelit and very atmospheric in the evening. The rooms in the family house are similarly gorgeously designed and are spacious and very clean - Zanzistar is such an aesthetically pleasing place to stay! Fleur and her team are very personable and hugely helpful in every matter, and the food and drinks are some of the best we had in Zanzibar. Jambiani itself is an incredibly idyllic beach and much quieter than other parts of Zanzibar - in short a wonderful place to stay if you wish to be further off the tourist trail!

Panga Chumvi Beach Resort, Matemwe

ValerieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This is a lovely and peaceful place on the beautiful beach of Matemwe. Jamal and the staff were all very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The hotel has a generator which is indispensable because there are daily power outages in Zanzibar. The A/C in the room was great also. The only difficulty I had was with the WiFi which worked only at the restaurant. I would love to return again!
A wooden balcony offers a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean, with sunlight reflecting on the water's surface. The scene includes a table adorned with a small flower arrangement. Gentle waves make their way towards the shoreline, framed by lush greenery.

Spacious Ocean View Suite - Villa Fleur de Lys

JordanRating, 5 stars40 months ago
Fleur De Lis Villa was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. The only downside is there is no beach to swim at - you need to travel about 15 minutes away to get to one. That said, there are two lovely small pools and the grounds are small but very nice. The room was exactly what we needed and they went out of their way to make sure our two year old was comfortable as well. I would recommend anyone stay here who wants an out of the way spot to spend a relaxing few days.

Suite with Terrace - Gaia Villas

AaronRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time at Gaia for our honeymoon. We were welcomed by her incredible staff and they even set up beautiful swan towels and roses on the bed for us. The villa was beautiful and very private. And I can’t stress enough how amazing all of the staff were. Breakfast was delicious as well and the host was so responsive to us with recommendations. We stayed at a much larger (and more expensive) resort in Zanzibar before this and we thought Gaia was so much more enjoyable. Very close to the beach as well. Highly recommend!
A spacious outdoor area is highlighted by a large swimming pool, surrounded by stone paving and greenery. Two modern buildings are visible in the background, offering multiple levels and balconies, with bright white façades against a clear blue sky.

Two Mountains Lodge Block B4

TanarinRating, 5 stars44 months ago
As manager for 2 Mountain Lodge, Shangwe was always available and quick to respond to my requests and needs. The Lodge itself is located 15 min. away from the main city of Arusha. I enjoyed the quiet walks through the village life where I could get everything I needed from within the local community (i.e. laundry, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.). The food from the restaurant and bar in the lobby was excellent and with fair rates, I found myself eating here and getting to know both the staff and other visitors to the lodge. The wifi was good and when the electricity from the general city went out, 2Mountain has back up generators the snap on so I was never without hot water or electricity. They also provide transportation services and laundry services within the lodge if you need to go into the city or arrange an airport service. They will also help you arrange any extra activities (ie. safari, Mt. Meru, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Hot springs, Waterfalls, etc.). Just about everyone spoke English. In summary I can highly recommend a short and long term stay here and I will return when Im back in Arusha.

Zanzicrown hotel, Bahari room

GaylaRating, 5 stars29 months ago
The room we had was quite warm as the ventilation was not good. When we inquired from the staff if a better ventilated room might be available they told us we needed to contact Elena. They could make no changes without her approval. I knew Elena was out of the country due to a family situation. I messaged her but did not expect a response and accepted the situation without complaint. We did not ask for air conditioning, simply inquired if a different room might be available. So keep this in mind that you may find the temperature uncomfortable.
The bungalow is framed by lush greenery and palm trees, leading to a welcoming entrance. The spacious lawn, covered in vibrant grass, complements the well-kept garden that features various plants and flowers. A blend of natural beauty surrounds the tranquil outdoor space.

Tengeru Home away from home

SanneRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a lovely stay at Jovita's home, she is such a welcoming woman. It is of walking distance to lake duluti. The surrounding nature is beautifull aswell, so be sure to check that out! Moreover, Jovita's cooking is the best! If you ask her, she can make some breakfast/lunch/dinner. The room is clean and has everything you need. She gave us clear instructions about the location of the house and picked us up the last bit to make sure we would arrive well, which is so attentive! Asante sana Jovita and James

Tiny House - foreSight Eco Lodge

NaomiRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Absolutely loved our time at Foresight. It was the perfect place to relax after the safari and to enjoy the peace and nature. The staff is amazing, and they really thought of everything you could wish for to make your stay unforgettable. We stayed in the Tiny House and the Honeytree House, and both were quiet places, fully equipped with everything we needed. It was a unique experience, which I can recommend to everyone. I can truly say that this was the best place we stayed during our holiday in Tanzania. The visit to the school they are building was truly inspiring—such a beautiful project. Thanks for having us! ❤️
